The music, maybe it is the acoustics, but it is so loud in here it's hard for the employees to hear or even hear the person sitting next to you. Just went in to get dinner. First the lady was extremely slow yo ask what we wanted then she says they have no wheat bread. I agreed to white bread. She was so slow and rude. After mine was finished my husband stood waiting. She said , did you want to order? How crazy, no he was standing there for his health! So ordered a meatball. Same woman moved so slow, did not ask if he wanted anything else on the sandwich.... 5 minutes later, after looking for bags, we paid... still waiting...Could see she was taking her time even though nothing needed cooked, just scooped put into a roll. Then she slowly brings it over. He wanted oregano but so the lazy woman didn't ask sp we had to get it to go... again waiting for it to be put in a cup. Still customer service sucks here. I can't even say if ordering online is any better. I put in my online order at 12:10PM, and said it'd be ready at 12:28. I got there at 12:30 and I don't think any of my sandwiches were even made. They didn't even apologize to me and just said they're making them right now. Brand new Jersey Mike's in the Carson Mall! Yes, the Carson Mall. I'm not sure what they think it should be called these days but nobody around these here parts will call it anything else. So this is one of a few spots that has taken up the standalone and now defunct Sears Auto Center building. Sad and exciting at the same time! Of course this is the typical Jersey Mike's, so you get freshly sliced meat and some yummy sandwiches, all prepared while you watch. As far as the interior layout, the tables are spread out pretty far in here, which is nice. One thing though...it seems like every single surface is reflective, so it is L-O-U-D in here! If you want to eat in peace, you might opt to hit the tables outside, or take it to go. Chipotle, Smashburger, and Applebees are the spots adjacent, so I think this will turn out to be a pretty hoppin' spot once people realize it is here! read more

I went after 6pm on a Friday so I knew it was going to be busy. Even though it was, I was greeted right away and my order was taken quick. I haven't been in a while and I couldn't find the sandwich I normally get and the associate ask me what it had so she could help me. I ordered the original. This is my second review and was hoping to give it another chance with this location. However, employees here do lack training and discipline. They look like they hate working and don't exceed customer expectations. On October 15, we ordered a full and regular #56 sub with Rosemary parm and avocados added. When we got home, they clearly forgot the avocados we paid for and the bread we wanted it in. We called for a replacement and came back after a few days. Today, we went in and claim our subs and the workers that morning wasn't giving us the best attitudes because we wanted our replacement. The older latina lady kept staring at us and reacted with a loud "WOOOAH" when they asked her to make our subs. We are definitely not coming back to carson location and would not waste our time and money if it's not done right and returned with bad attitudes. Get up to the counter to order with my mask on my face. I slightly move the mask away from my lips to state my order because I hate repeating myself. The worker then told me, coming right up but you need to keep your mask on. This is ridiculous. It wasn't removed. I was standing 6' away. Sandwiches were okay. I live very close by and really wanted to like it. I was disappointed on how the facility looked. We will probably not go there again. Staff was okay (not rude or anything) but the floors, tables and bathroom were dirty. They have a "B" on the window. Walked out and after a close by soccer game many fans didn't go in due to the facility and "B". I also don't like how there aren't any booster chairs or changing tables for babies. went on at about 3:10pm today dec 3,2022 and observed major cross contaminating by the employees. when i was called on for my order to be placed. the young latino lady with the glasses a little heavy set, could tell i had observed this and immediately said i'll change my gloves. which was fine except every time you change gloves. before doing so, your supposed to wash your hands a minimum of thirty seconds which she did not do. she made the first portion then when i arrived to the next employee. white young guy with blue eyes, he immediately goes to the grill. once he came to my sandwich i immediately halted him and explained how they were cross contaminating. which you can see from they're expressions were upset. the cashier a young light brown latino young man, took his gloves off, got some new gloves and immediately went out of "eye view" to the back. when he came back to attempt to make my sandwich which was a tuna fish. i immediately stopped him and said oh no, where not going they're today can only imagine what private parts he possibly may have rubbed before putting the new gloves on as a payback ill show you measure. then i requested that the original heavy set lady change her gloves, wash her hands, put on new gloves to make my sandwich, she became irrate refused service and threatened to call security. to which i responded that's fine because i've commited no crime, and asked for her managers number to which she refused, and i exited the premises. if this is the representation of not only jersey mikes subs, but also the city they represent "new jersey" i never want to visit, and if your a clean eating patron you would "avoid like the plauge" ray tuggle read more

I can't Believe what goes on in this place! I walked in as a first time customer to this location with a friend. When a figure came from the back with all white face paint, Yes! All white face paint! Like something straight out of a movie "all about the Benjamin's" when they painted their face white to rob the place..... So when I noticed this, it startled me. Is there not a dress code for employees because I don't know where people can go to work in full on face paint customs and expect customers to respond like that's normal!!!!! The Manhattan Beach location is nothing like this. If you would like a better experience with associates not in costumes all year around go to that location.
