NOTE TO SELF AND EVERYONE ELSE: Stay away from Jersey Mike's Subs. At least stay away from their "Cheese-Steaks". THEY SUCK. I just ordered a "regular" Cheese-steak ($10.75) that was SO bad that you'd be taken outside and shot if you tried to serve it in Philly. It was a crime against nature and man. The attached photo should tell you everything you need to know about just how bad their efforts are. IT WAS CRAP.. and I will *never* patronize their shop again. Second note: Their people are nice. They are polite and kind and decent. They are trying. They just don't know how to make a sandwich.. or they are told NOT to make quality, because that would cost...*gasp*... money. SO... do yourself a favor. Find a locally owned, family run sandwich shop and go there instead. Stay away from this corporatized crap. read more

I always hesitate to give 5 star reviews but this is warranted. Never been in before, eaten plenty of the subs but never seen the "magic". It really was fresh sliced, I saw the kid cut it right there, like at the deli but with a better attitude. The folks working there were polite and diligent, there was no screwing around, just making sandwiches!! Working hard!! The joint was clean and pretty jolly, I have to say that I was impressed. Awesome sub! I ordered the regular Italian and it was filled with all the meats. It reminds me of ordering an Italian sub in the Northend of Boston. Lots of flavors coming together for a fantastic finish! Whenever I travel I try to find out where the closest Jersey Mike's is located to check it out. There is NO comparison to Jersey Mike's and Subway. Jersey Mike's hands down. I can't wait for the West Lebanon NH location to open....near to home. read more

Let me start by saying I really like Jersey. Mike sups the sad part is. I will no longer be going to the Beverly location. This is the second time they have screwed up my lunch order I get a plane steak and cheese. No, pepper's no onions. Can't stand either the server. Who took my order wrote down in Nice Big letters, no peppers, no onions And for the second time guess what was on my sub. I brought it back. I asked for my money back since I wasn't gonna have time to eat it. I was handed a piece of paper with the owner's email address and told. I would have to use that to get my refund. They seem to have issues with their orders with DoorDash. DoorDash sends us an order, and it tells us to pick it up within the next few minutes. When we arrive, staff will tell us we are 10-20 minutes early.. but the app is telling us to pick it up in the next few minutes. Sometimes, the staff are rude about it like we are purposely arriving that early. I suggest calling doordash and telling them this issue, so that they can adjust the timing of the deliveries. It's been a longstanding issue, and it would benefit us all. read more

This food was supposed to be a meatball sub. It's soggy in the middle and there's NO marinara with cheap slices of cheese. I expect more jersey mikes! The picture on the left is what I ordered - on the right, what I got. Subway looks more appetizing than this and that's sad. read more

I have ordered in the past here and the food as well as quality has always been delicious. I really miss the grilled pastrami sandwich and do not understand why it is off the menu. When you order extra meat, a regular sub is packed and you can eat half, be full, and save the other half for later. I.ordered the tuna fish sub, which does not mention chunks of celery in it, on grubhub menu description. I played the 2 dollars for extra and was really disappointed. Not a lot of tuna in my sub and I can not stand celery either. Waste of 2 dollars I spent. Also seems like bag of chips is a smaller size from before. I really was wowed by this place first time I ordered but with no more grilled pastrami as well as a lean looking tuna fish sub, not so anymore. Maybe just a bad day. read more

There were a few flies in the kitchen area. That should have been a hint to leave. The prep station is a mess Regular size cheese steak no pepper or onion. More like cheese steak flavored bread! Maybe 1/5 cup of filling if that. Pulled some peppers out from that messy prep station Chicken Caesar tub. Served with iceberg lettuce (wrong). Decent flavor but very little chicken. I never been to a Jersey Mike's until now. I have to say hands down these are the best subs I've had in a really long time. Hate to say it, but I lived in Philly and didn't even enjoy the subs as much. The Quality and quanity of these subs are perfect . I definitely will be back. Amazing customer service also. Used to stop at Jersey Mike's in MA while working. Pricey, but excellent and very filling. Now in Exeter, NH, sub is on a much smaller roll, less meat and even more expensive. Subway is now a better sub at close to half the price. When I wrote and asked if this is the new size, I never got a response. Apparently, no one cares at HQ. I ordered a #9 Giant. It was a " Giant" disaster. No red wine vinegar/ oil / Jersey Mike's way. Very little meat. Very little mayo, tomatoes, onions. The sandwich was a dry hot mess. Very disappointing. read more

The best subs/hoagies in existence! I remember eating these in New Jersey and bringing them to the shore for lunch and have craved them ever since. Jersey Mike's is the authentic, real deal high quality New Jersey sub and does not come close to anything called a sub anywhere. High quality roll and deli meats/cheese are used and are worth the price. Absolutely delicious! We need a Jersey Mike's in York, Maine! read more

When these guys arrived in town a year and a half ago or so, I had my suspicions on what they would do to try to be different from every other sub shop in Beverly. They showed up at my workplace wearing jersey Mike's paraphernalia (Jersey accents and all!) and I found the encounter to be a little bit strange... especially since Massachusetts is not very "jersey-welcoming!" I finally tried them for the first time this past weekend, since my normal go-to sub shops were closed on Sunday. I ordered an Italian sub and they instructed me on how to order it "Mike's way ". I always find it a little bit cheesy/annoying when a restaurant insists that you use their terminology in order to dine there. (I order small, medium and large at Starbucks because why can't they just be normal?!) Nonetheless, the sandwich was very good. It was so big I couldn't finish it, there was tons of meat inside which was impressive. There also was a long line at the door in the place is clearly very busy! Got the Italian. I thought there was way too much shredded lettuce on it. Place was very clean and staff was friendly and efficient. I thought the price of the sub was a little high too. They have a couple outdoor tables too. Not sure how the hot subs are. Maybe next time I will get one. read more

Having been to a Jersey Mike's before I figured I would go to this one since it's close to my house. My brother and I went here for lunch on a whim one day. Though the employees are decently nice, I am not the biggest fan of the place. The selection of different subs they have is great, but the prices they have are a bit high and over the top for my liking. I can honestly say that I can go to subway and get more filling in my sub for half the price of this place. In fact, I can get a foot long, drink, and bag of chips at subway for the average price of one sub at Jersey Mike's, which says a lot. I dont understand how they can get away with charging so much for a sub. When i went here with my brother it was like $30 for two subs, a bag of chips, and two drinks. Unreal. I probably wont be returning any time soon unless they decide to change their prices and make it more affordable. read more

Roddy, is amazing !!!!!!! and the subs are magnificent .They cater to your every need, the bread is always fresh and made daily.... The entire staff super friendly and you can't get a better sub anywhere.... they are definitely 100% the best around!! Tommy and Cassie are always there too, willing and waiting to make your experience one to remember ..... THEY ALL WEAR GLOVES , which is very hard to find nowadays. Most sub shops have them and won't wear them and if they do, they don't change them. I had a lady at Lenas proceed to make my sub using the same exact gloves she had just handled money with.... needless to say I walked out and never returned ..... I'd really call this 2.5 stars. I was sent a two for one coupon, so I decided to sample one each of a regular size hot, & cold sub: 1. "The Super Sub" (#5:Ham, Prosciuttini,& Capppacuolo). While it was a good amount of filling, most of the meat appeared to be thin sliced regular ham. Prepared "Mike's Way", it was good tasting, but nothing outstanding. This regular sized sub measured 8 inches long. 2."Chicken Philly Cheese steak"(#16:grilled chicken, cheese, onions, peppers). Again, good tasting, but nothing outstanding. This regular sized sub measured 7 inches long, & while I would not call the amount of filling skimpy, it was still less than a cheese steak from our local sub shops. On both subs, I found the bread to be fresh & tasty. Service: Although this location just recently opened, the three employees I dealt with were all quick, efficient, & very courteous. I guess the bottom line that keeps my review low is value. This chain seems to feature prices that are quite high for the amount of food you get. Regular size subs run from $6.65 to $8.65. I ate half of each of the 2 subs I purchased, & was still hungry. Giant size subs run from $12.65 to $14.65. I would have to assume that the giant size to be what some shop call a Footlong. In my opinion, almost fifteen bucks for a large sub is a little over the top. For that kind of money, the subs would have to be amazing. They weren't. It is obvious that this store is owner-managed, as it is clean and the service is quick, but with a smile. The same great guys were working the counter that I met when I first came in over a year ago. You really feel like you're supporting small businesspeople who are doing their best. Bravo, guys! Got the giant meatball sub to have some for dinner later.. giant sub a water and a bag of chips for over 20 bucks. Good lord!! Sub was mediocre, all sauce minimal meatball.
