The room that we stayed in was to my (our) surprise, pretty tiny and cramped as it was hard to move around, especially since there were a lot of people. Not too big of a deal, but do take caution. It was well-organized where we stayed, which is all that matters. There are a lot of sporting activities to offer, such as basketball in one room, hockey which includes ice and roller skating as well, and an indoor field that holds baseball, softball, soccer, volleyball, and even frisbee as well with even more names to list. There are many sporting activities to do here, and this is the place to come for get-togethers and/or just to hang out. Overall, a great place to visit. I hate this place for playing roller hockey. Nothing works here including the refs. The most…read moreunprofessional run facility I have ever been to. There was one time during a hockey game that a ref was sitting down eating during a game instead of out on the rink. I yelled over and asked him to ref the game he was paid to do and he proceeded to curse back at me with a lot of foul language. He still works there. Management is constantly contacted and nothing changes. This week a ref offered to get me a chair while I walked past him. He was only able to do that because he was standing in the penalty box on his cell phone while the puck was in play. I replied I want you to ref I don't want a chair. They are paid $25 for 40 mins of socializing, eating, and just skating away from a game in play. During the same game the other ref was hanging on the goal post the entire game talking with the goalie and not paying attention to the whole game. I have never seen a place that is a free for all for the employees and they have no manager around making sure they are doing what they are supposed to do. As long as they collect the money from all the teams the facility is still left in the dirty run down condition that it has been in for years. Hundreds of dollars taken from each team and they cannot afford to fix the score board so you can read the numbers? Several bulbs are out and just left without repair.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoy going for a fun day out but the facility is well past it's sell-by date relying on the recently opened Caesars Sportsbook for a revenue lifeline. So, in classic New Jersey fashion, the town fathers believe more casino gambling, a few hotels, some condos and an odd assortment of softball and pickleball facilities will turn the tide on Monmouth's decrepitude and revitalize the old girl -- basically Atlantic City North. Have you been to Atlantic City? Once you get past the Boardwalk and the Casino strip, the town is an impoverished mess. Springsteen said it best... "It's a place where when you hit a red light, you don't stop." Personally, I hope they make it since I enjoy watching these magnificent animals run but it's New Jersey where the uninspired reliance on gaming usually leads to snake eyes. Four very cautious stars.

I would do this again the experiences was a goodazztime!!! The registration part was ok but the space isn't big so you can't have too many folks inside or it gets crazy. However #1 issue is the rental equipment was not cleaned. Like the vest smell nasty for real. If they do wash those items then the musty armpit smell is embedded into the fibers Also I got a rash from the helmet see pic. #2 unsupervised youth....there was a group of boys about 10/12 years old that was acting like wild animals. Now I really don't have a problem if your parenting style is f' it but they have guns!?!? We were in a safe zone and of course they were shooting around people who didn't have helmet on. It wasn't until our guide said something that they stopped. Mind you the parents/chaperones were right there not caring?!?! Smh. Large young group should have 2 guides.

MANAGED HORRIBLY!!!!…read more My colleague and I decided to drive out to LLP from Queens, Oct 10th and the level of customer service leaves something to be desired. For context, I am a 53-year-old black man, national HYROX / Tactical Games competitor, recently retired from Google and my buddy who's Greek, 60 and recently retired from the DOS joined me. We just wanted to have a good time. 1) As a walk on and new player your onboarding needs some work. We received no direction from the front desk staff as to where to go or what to do and spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to find the proper ref and field to go to. We were simply asked if we have our own gear and sent out by the front desk staff. We spent our first match being heckled by some no frontal lobe ghetto negro clown with dreadlocks about our new gear which was very elitist to say the least. 2) AFTER 3 HOURS, 4 REFS and 4 matches, some random Asian dude walks up to me and proceeds to accuse me of using the wrong paint for the field that I am on and group that I am with. (AGAIN NEW PLAYER HERE, strictly going off the pro shop and refs direction/guidance.) 3) Then the same Asian dude proceeds to berate me later on in the pro shop about how I might have hurt someone, like at 53 I have nothing better to do! Then another blond-haired staff member in the pro shop who was apparently kissing the asian guys ass, says this would have never happened if he had been the ref out there. REMEMBER, 4 REFS watched me play for 3 hours, but LLP feels that it is okay to assume the customer is at fault. After all this the main dude Rob asks me outside the shop if we will continue to play and I replied NO!!! After which he simply walks away and says nothing to me. Oh and the Asian dude closes the conversation by trying to tell me about their season pass!!! CLASS ACT HERE!!! 4) Between the people smoking cigarettes, vapes, marijuana and obnoxiously loud groups of 20 somethings that clearly had too much to drink in the prep area, we were happy to leave and take our business elsewhere. Sharing the WEBSITE OF A MUCH BETTER FIELD BELOW https://hvpaintball.com/fields/outdoor-field/ THE ONLY + here was the quality of the fields, but we won't be coming back! They build your entry fee into the cost of the paint and try to craft it as a plus, with a case costing around a C note. Don't care about the money, just don't try to sell it to me as a bonus! OVERALL MANGAGED HORRIBLY!!!

What's terrific about the field is that they all have drainage systems that help get the fields all ready for play after rainfall. Some of the "bigger" fields also have scoreboards that are fully functional and serve a great purpose, especially during the summer when travel leagues are in full form. There's also a snack bar in the middle of the complex, where the prices are fair for what you get, so if you're the type that likes to get something or you're in for a long day at the fields, it's a great place to recharge. I'd also like to take a moment to discuss Joe Niglio Field, which was named in honor of my first boss, and former next-door neighbor, who passed away after a long illness in 2006. After his passing, East Brunswick Baseball League (EBBL) wanted to do something special in commemoration for all that Joe did for the league. A lot of his contributions helped make EBBL what it is today. When the field opened in his honor in 2007, I was there for the dedication ceremony. I was also on that very same field umpiring on opening night, and I feel very honored to be given that privilege. Overall, while I spent many a-times playing and umpiring on these fields, I can truly say with nostalgia that this is a great facility for the town, and for children for all ages to use and play on.
