My grandson has taken pitching lessons here for four years. This past spring he was given the St. John Vianney High School junior varsity Cy Young award as the best pitcher on the team. Prior to that he was a league All Star as a pitcher on his junior high team. One game had 13 strike outs in 5 innings. At SJV his last game was 5 shutout innings. We couldn't be happier with our experience over the past year and the smile on my son's face and his huge EGO solidifies that we have finally found a home with CK Baseball. We have been with many (4 to be exact) travel teams and this is the one that he has grown the most with in the shortest amount of time by far. We have switched teams in the past due to distance, moving and teams disbanding. We struggle each time to find that perfect fit. Most new teams have taken my son on as an extra and he usually plays a secondary position since he's last to join. When trying out for CK we understood that we were joining an established team again but in no way did he feel like a sub or fill in. The team was extremely accepting and the families on the team were very inviting and the type of people you want to spend your entire weekend with. After taking 2 month of pitching lessons he was worked into the pitching rotation little by little. He developed over the spring and summer seasons and is now one of their best pitchers and often times is asked to pitch with the older teams. We have seen a complete 180 in attitude and dedication in our son. We have finally found the best mentor (next to dad of course) in Coach Craig. Thank you for all you do for our family. No a bad place overall however if you are not a regular customer you will need to be aware that they have a bad habit of not holding your hourly reservation, I am guessing they give it to their "regulars". I run a male adult softball team and within one year this place has done this 3 times. I have had this happen with a full weeks notice and even on a multiple week reservation. They must not have a good "functional calendar" in which to keep reservations, which in this line of business is unacceptable. I would advise calling to confirm your appointment before bringing your team out only to be told by some 18 yr old counter girl that your reservation is not there and they are booked for the day. read more

My son has been attending CK's for 4 years. His skill and love of the game have really progressed thanks in big part to CK's and the staff. Craig, Sal, Adam, Nick and every other coach we have encountered know how to coach with the right amount of positivity, encouragement and firmness. I will never send my son to their baseball camp again. From start to finish, the experience was unpleasant. After paying for camp over the phone, I was never e-mailed a receipt, a waiver form to sign or any info about where the camp was taking place. I just googled them on the first day of camp for their address. I showed up at the Commercial Drive location and sat around in the car waiting to see parents and kids. Finally, around 9:05, I went inside and asked and was told camp was on a field 2 miles down the road. How would anyone know this?? The coaches regularly showed up AFTER 9am, breakfast and coffee in hand (camp was from 9-12). They never got around to playing baseball until closer to 9:30. Once there, they stood around talking to each other and were on their phone much of the time while supposedly coaching. This information was shared by several of the kids attending. While I might have tolerated all of the above, what I CANNOT accept, and no parent should have to, is the foul language that was spoken all week long in front of the children (ages 8-11). Coach Adam routinely said "crap" and "shit" but on the last day, within earshot of the kids, he said "f*cking bitch" in one of his usual private conversations with the other coach. How does a company employ people like this to work with kids so young at their grossly overpriced camp?? I would call and complain to the office but considering how poorly run this place is, I doubt it will make any difference. read more

CK's baseball program is top notch. My son have been coached by Sal and Tony for the past 3 years and they are extremely professional and knowledgeable about the game and the college recruiting process. CK offers college prospect showcases/camps to put your son in front of several college coaches and will gladly reach out to any college coach on your son's behalf. A huge benefit of playing on a CK team is free access to batting and pitching cages any time they are available. I've recommended CK to friend and will continue to do so. read more

My two boys have been doing group and private lessons at CK for a few years now and have gotten significantly better at hitting and fielding. My older son started doing private pitching lessons which also improved his skills. Most importantly, both boys have gotten much more confident because of the CK staff trainers' support and positive reinforcement. The staff is friendly, funny and positive. Now my husband is doing the father and son whiffle ball and it has made for awesome bonding time with the boys. I would highly recommend CK to anyone who has baseball loving kids. read more

We have done group all skills, pitching, summer camp and other clinics. The staff is always professional and their main focus is on getting the kids to love the game of baseball and work hard on improving their skills. We also are part of one of their travel baseball teams and I can't speak more highly of Coach Jake and staff. My son has been training at cks for many years now. And he has been on the club team for several years also. There is not a better training facility to bring your young ones to learn strong fundamentals of baseball. They stress the details of baseball and teaching the game far more than other club teams who are just about winning and hitting. If you want your kid to learn the game then start at CK. read more

They upgrade the training facility 2 years ago. It's a very nice state of the art indoor baseball facility. The owner Craig is a former pro player as are most of the staff. they are all very nice. My 12 year old has been doing training camps and one on one since he was 7. He is a special needs child who has used baseball to successfully build his self-esteem and feel a part of something. I give the staff here a lot of credit for his success. Thanks guys! read more
