It's the people who are doing this, Doug and his team. They are the reason LakeView Day Camp has been a huge success since Doug took over. Doug and his team are in this to serve the families, not just to have commercial success. The programming is brilliant. We've said many times that we wish they did adult camps on weekends. :-) If you haven't checked it out, I'd highly recommend it. Go on a tour or an event. Meet the nice people. They really try hard to accommodate any issues and things do happen so tell them if there is an issue so they can help. They have corrected bus issues or stepped in to address other minor problems over the years and always left us feeling like they really care about their campers. Doug, the owner is very visible and works hard to leave campers with a positive experience whether they are 5 or 15 years old. They have a beautiful camp with a lovely lake, a hot lunch and healthy snacks like fruit. They just put in a huge new pool 2 years ago. They have a nice teen program as well.

This place is a disgrace to middlesex county and clearly a racist environment. My daughter sat down for a whole 45 minutes and was not allowed to engage in the dance class with the other girl's.

There's a smaller section for small toddlers (smaller slides, a little house attached to it, etc.) and also a larger section for kids 5+ (larger slides, balance ropes, etc.). Both sections have some overhead coverage but the park itself is not shaded. There's also a separate area where the swings are and also a climbing rock/boulder. There's basketball courts adjacent to the kids playground and a good amount of parking. It's definitely one of the cleaner and newer parks around and would definitely recommend checking it out.

I enrolled my son in 2017 & 2018, but last year my ex enrolled him and purposely left me off. She even went as far as changing the password. I was not allowed to pick up my son nor was I allowed to use the camp during the week on my days. I couldn't even pick up my son if there was any time of emergency. Even after I got a court order, the staff & one of the owners (Barry) treated me extremely poor. They wouldn't even allow me to take my son's camp bag with his wet clothes. This happened to me in 2019 and it's happening again to me in 2020. This morning I had the pleasure of speaking with the other other Ruth Ann. She was no bettter than Barry last year, and even called me by my brother's name who hasn't used this camp in many years. From my perspective, both Ruth Ann & Barry put on a fake act. Both of them know me, but act like they don't. I have no idea what my ex told them or the staff, but as a single father I shouldn't be treated in a negative manner. At the end of the day, they will treat you like gold if you show them the money but if there's any issue they will treat you like crap! I wrote a review last year, then a staff member reached out to me and confirmed that what I was saying was very true. I would not send my child to this camp! Save your money and go somewhere else with your child(ren).

The center is filled with dedicated loving and caring staff who truly want to be at their jobs and care about the children when placed in their care. My child has thrived and has come home talking, sharing and just learning so much this gives me a sense of relief knowing that she's in the best hands. Unfortunately, we are moving out of state and this is going to be very difficult time for us to try to find another center as wonderful and caring and that will uphold the same high quality standards as Child time does. My daughter was injured in gym class and had fractured her finger and this guy feels it's his right to keep my deposit money from birthday party AS well as tuition that my daughter was not present for!! After several phone calls, the office manager finally found it appropriate to let me know the owner's intentions on keeping the deposit money as well as to continue to charge me tuition (even though we didn't have a clearance date from the doctor!) Weeks later, I now have a clearance date and my daughter can return to gymnastics, but now nobody wants to return my phone calls OR my tuition money for November and December! I took it upon myself to STOP anymore withdrawals from this facility. I am owed money and even with all of this, we were willing to come back because my daughter likes her teachers there! I called again and of course left a message as nobody really ever answers the phone. I have yet to hear back from them! I am assuming that they kicked us out, since they haven't replied back?!! Reason for my post is: think twice before walking into their doors, cuz if your child gets a great teacher, it really isn't worth the hassle of working with such a classless owner.
