I had an extremely upsetting and unacceptable experience at this car wash. Employees had to forcibly remove it, and in the process, my vehicle was significantly damaged. Part of the car was pulled upward and visibly damaged, as shown in the photos I took immediately afterward. Instead of handling the situation professionally, management immediately began yelling at me and insisting that the damage was already there. I had recently purchased this vehicle, and it absolutely did not have this damage before entering the car wash. Because of how the situation was being handled, I called the police to document the incident. The responding officers inspected the situation and agreed that the damage occurred at the car wash. What made the experience even more disturbing was the behavior of the female manager. She repeatedly took pictures of me, yelled at me, and attempted to prevent me from photographing the damage to my own vehicle. She also made comments toward me that I perceived as racially charged, including repeatedly saying, "I know you are from Irvington." I still do not understand what my perceived hometown had to do with the damage to my vehicle or why that comment was necessary. I came to this business expecting a simple car wash and left with damage to a recently purchased vehicle, a police response, and an extremely upsetting interaction with management. Regardless of how the company ultimately handles the damage claim, no customer should be yelled at, intimidated, photographed repeatedly, or subjected to comments about where they are supposedly from while trying to document damage to their property. I strongly recommend that anyone using this car wash photograph their vehicle before entering and carefully inspect it immediately afterward.

I suggest driving around the back first to make sure that you feel safe and it's probably best practice to not wash your car by yourself here. I prefer putting dollar bills in the machine and not using my credit card.
