Let's start off with the PROS... - We had a very good experience with the staff members. Pleasant enough, accommodating enough. We appreciated their help. - The Views. Great location. - Wifi available near office. - We were left alone. We were loud, had fun, laughed, sang, carried on. Nobody bothered us. I can see how this is a CON for some people. :) Now the CONS... - Bathrooms suck. Not cleaned often enough. Not enough stalls, sinks, showers. Not air conditioned. - Two water temperates: Very hot and Thermonuclear. Gotta fix that. - Very dangerous hill to and from the riverside camp sites. People must be getting injured every year. Simple solution: Get some better lighting - even solar lighting - near that path. Consider installing stairs or something, or rails. - Enjoyed the fireworks, but not the next morning at 6am. Not the fault of campground - just neighborly stuff. Perhaps they didn't care for our loud music and my horrible Karaoke singing. *shrug* - Next to ZERO cell signal. Some people with (of all things) T-Mobile had occaisional signals near the river. Bottom Line: Partiers will love it. Your camping experience will be epic, and you will wanna go again. Just don't kill yourselves on the path to the river, and try not to shit your pants waiting for a stall to open up. Families will maybe wanna reconsider. Your kids and dogs will be awake at 1pm listening to loud music, horrible singing, and the occaisional very loud fireworks going on. If you are ok with that, just bring ear protection to drown out the noise and you should be fine. read more

My friends and I take a river trip every year (through reber's in Barryville) normally a very large group and along the way or on the trip we are picked up or we stop at Jerry's, this year we had a smaller group and so all we really didn't remember if it was the red rock that marked our spot to pull off. This year the rock was painted silver so I was a bit confused if this was the exact location. In the confusion I walked up to the "office" where I was NOT treated in a kind matter, by a blonde older woman and older man I said "excuse me I was wondering"...and before I could even finish my question she said "yeaaaa I'll be with you in a moment" walks out and momentarily walks back in with another women shooting the shit not even l taking note I was still standing there . I then said "excuse me but I'm not sure if I'm in the correct location,can you please tell me if this is where reber river trips picks up" She rudely grabbed a phone and rolled her eyes "yup I'll call them" ..."I said "oh well maybe we will hang out for a bit can we come back to call them?" Again I was unsure so I was asking. She looked at me and laughed and said "there's no hanging out here" I was then approached by an older gentleman whom answered some of my questions as I explained I was confused because of the red missing rock. When I asked if reber would find us because we had pulled off a little down from the location he said "guess you'll figure that out won't you " and walked away. I was in utter shock as it could be very dangerous to be stuck on a river with no real understanding of exactly where we were, and because I wasn't approaching anyone with I'll manners or disrespect. I also understand that maybe being in a business can be frustrating and maybe you are fed up with the same questions day on and day out by people that did not use or pay for your services . Just want to preface this by saying that I, along with my whole group of friends, have been coming to Jerry's every year for the last 7 or so years. We love it there, and that's the reason we come back every year. However, this year instantly turned me off and if it weren't for the preceding 6 years being amazing, I'd probably not come back. This year started off amazing. When calling to make the reservations, the girls in the office were wonderful and accommodating, as always. I told them what sort of site we wanted, and she gave me a list of options to best suit what we wanted. I paid the $140 deposit, because we had 14+ people coming and $10 per person. I got there early, and check in went nice and smooth. The girl in the office even offered to put a map on the door, leading to my campsite in case my friends got there after the office closed. They would know where to find us. The 2nd day was when the problems started... Some of the employees came over to our site on a 4-wheeler. They told us we NEEDED to go to the office right now. "There was a discrepancy and people on your site didn't pay". They wouldn't tell us who or how many people, just that we absolutely needed to go and get it resolved. We stopped what we were doing, loaded everyone who was awake (10 or so people and a dog, so 3 cars) and drove there. The office told us there was no problem, and started getting snippy with us saying "I'm not them. I didn't tell you to come here. I don't have time for this." We all walked out of there like "wtf was her problem?", but whatever we let the weekend continue. Everything else went mostly well. Then check-out came around and that snippy girl was in the office again. I went to the office to check out, and she didn't lift her head from her phone to give me attention once. Just kept looking down and giving me 1-word responses. So we left, and on my way home I realized everyone in my group paid their full $25 per person, per night ($75 for the 3 night people, $50 for the 2 night people), and the $140 deposit was not deducted from a single person's payment, nor did I get the deposit back (although everyone paid in full). So I wound up paying $140, on top of the $75 camp fee. Yes, I acknowledge I should have brought it up, but the girl not paying attention to me stopping in the office should have noticed as well. Regardless, I am giving you guys a 4-star rating because every other time was perfect and beautiful. I am not going to let one time ruin the rating, but it would have been 5 stars if it weren't for the nasty attitude on the girl. Plus, I'm short $140. Hopefully everything goes better for us next year! read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would because this staff is so rude and unprofessional. My friends and I went canoeing yesterday with another company and we had missed our mark and pulled our canoes/kayaks in the Jerry's base. The canoe that my friend and I were on happened to get stuck on rocks in between the Kittatany and Jerry base and we called for help for over 20 mins. We were scared and someone finally came and pushed us towards the direction of Jerry's and said to leave our boats there. The rest of our friends safely made it there and were waiting for us. When we "parked" our canoe, we noticed 2 girls of our friend group went up to talk to a staff member to ask if we could leave the boats with them and this guy was SO rude. I could hear him shouting talking about private property and you're technically trespassing and how we would have to go up the hill and carry the boats. He seemed very miserable and drunk. So 2 of my friends went walking up the Hill and went back to the other base to see if someone would come get the boats and then we would walk back to the base. While we were waiting, two of my other friends were pulling in the canoes so that they could all be together because there were 7 of them. Because my friend and I were still sitting on the boat we saw that same guy made some inappropriate weird comments about kids and his coworker, with wavy long hair and wearing a hat was walking near us and I was telling this person, how we almost had almost drowned and our boat was stuck and instead of this guy being empathetic, he says, OH, WELL THAT SUCKS HAHA he actually laughed in our faces and I was like oh my God, how rude and unprofessional you are to say that he accepts someone having a horrible accident. And mind you, they did accept other boats. We later saw that as we walked up the hill to go back to the base, that there were tons of boats from the other company. HORRIBLE! RUDE! INTIMIDATING! MISERABLE! Never have I ever experienced such horrid customer service IN MY LIFE! The staff was extremely rude, spiteful and condescending. After driving nearly 3 hours to this campground, the lady at the front desk, Nicole, gave me an attitude since the second I walked into the office. This was a different level of miserable. She was snippy and very rude, as if she hated her life and was taking it out on my girlfriend and I. After I paid for my site and she directed us where to go she was no help with other questions. She must've messed up which site she was going to assign us because after unpacking ALL of my camping supplies from my car, walking up and down an unpaved steep rocky hill, putting up our canopy and setting up the tent in 95° weather, one of their staff members who smelled like alcohol and weed, came down and told me that their boss said I had to either pay for the 10 person site or LEAVE IMMEDIATELY, otherwise they would CALL THE POLICE! This is an hour and a half AFTER they watched my girlfriend and I unpack the car and set up our site. They were intimidating us and threatening to call the cops several times after they assigned us a site and we paid $100. They wouldn't even allow me to talk to a manager about the situation or help in getting us a new site. One of the staff member got in my face and threatened "something bad is going to happen if you don't leave" Basically told us to f*** off, too bad, you have to leave or were calling the cops. She refused to give me a refund but eventually did, then only gave me 3/4 return. I will NEVER BE RETURNING. We had no place to sleep for the night and wound up driving aimlessly back to civilization searching for hotels spending more money then intended just because we only had 2 people camping. This is no place for a good time. I've also heard of them committing CC fraud. Which I wouldn't doubt. read more

Additionally, they practice fraudulent credit card services as they quote one price but charge another to your card. Just got back from the WORST camping experience. We thought we were getting a beautiful spot on the bank of the Deleware River in Pond Eddy NY - Jerry's Three River Campsite....OH MY GOD! I have never been so stressed in my life! The site was beautiful but it was horrible in every other way! Neighbors on either side and behind us were rude, disrespectful and didn't care about anyone but their people. It felt as if were were at someone's backyard party and we weren't invited. If they had a camper it was in their slot with tents on every inch of the rest - TENT CITY!! There was blasting techno music on one side and the other side was a music with a person singing into the microphone that thought it was Karaoke night at the campsite...this went on till 2 - 3am every night. Then the most horrible was the professional fireworks, set off by young kids, NOT PROFESSIONALS!! NO safety precautions!!! They were less than 20 yards from our trailer....7pm till 2AM ...NON STOP! I would have called 911 but there was no internet, cell service or any manager on the property. Fireworks like they were setting off usually require a firetruck or supervisor of pyrotechnics. My dogs were a complete and utter mess...crying and panting for hours.... I wanted to leave the first morning , but my optimistic husband thought it would get better.....We both need a vacation now! read more

We have been to Jerry's a number of times over the last 5 years. It is expected to be a little loud at times but it usually stops at a reasonable hour. This past weekend was a nightmare. We were there as a group of 6 renting three sites. A large group of campers that included young children were playing loud music from Friday afternoon till 6:30 am Saturday. At 8:30am Saturday it started up again and didn't stop until the police were called 12:00am. Our neighboring camper went to politely ask them to turn it down only to get smoke blown in her face. She called the police at 4:00am because it started up after the first visit from the police. I have never met more rude obnoxious people in my life. This was a great place to go until now. There were campers leaving early with no refund because of this one group. The owner stated he could hear it from his house down the street and did nothing about it. read more

Honest review I hope you will read this review before making reservation at Jerry's and decide to go camping to another place. Below are the reasons why this place is a joke. 1. Camp capacity. Forget about privacy. They put as many campgrounds as humanly possible. Yes you can become good friends with your neighbors, but imagine that it is family with 4 kids who is a meter away from you. 2. You pay almost twice more for having 2 toilets for 100 people at least. I am not even talking about how dirty they are. And it is the worst toilet I've ever seen. 3. Shower. First of all water is not running. There is only one shower for the same 100 people. I bath in a river, as this shover is even more nasty than Jerry's restrooms. 4. Music. Staff say that a quite hour is at 11. But can't say nothing to a campers that decided to do a disco party at 3 am. We have to go and ask to turn off the music. And our neighbors decided to do it even louder. And Front desk say: " Sorry we can't do nothing. Everybody party like they want". I am sorry, we are paying for a normal civilized rest. We have been listening to a Spanish music 24/7. 5. No rules. Fireworks are illegal in New York, but not in Jerry's. Yes, they are beautiful, but not every second shooting after 7 pm till 12. Glass battles are not allowed in camp but nobody cares. I think if a drunk neighbor will come to confront you nobody will care. 6. Rafting. Had to wait one hour instead of 15 minutes ( that were promised) near the main office to take a ride. read more

Not sure what happened to this place, but it feels like it has become a straight up scam business. For some background, I live about an hour away and have been coming here off and on for about 20 years. Sometimes once a summer, sometimes three times, sometimes not at all. I never really had a bad experience over the years, and it is the same employees/owners running it, but lately I've felt straight up scammed when I come in. Last weekend -- I called a few days ago and said I had a group of 8 people who wanted to go rafting on a Saturday. Sure, they said, but because of COVID we would also have to camp. I'm not sure why one thing is related to the other, but I agreed since that sounded fun anyway. On Friday, we drove down, met the woman at the desk, joked around with the employees, and even talked about how the place has not changed at all over the years. When I checked in there was no problem, we discussed camping the next day and there was no issue at all. I bought some fire wood. Everyone was happy. I was told that my group would leave at 10:30 a.m. The scam -- On Saturday morning we packed up the camp site, put all of our stuff in the cars, readied the coolers, and went to the office ready to set off as I've done a few dozen times in the past. Except when I get to the office, suddenly the woman at the front desk doesn't have any idea who I am. I tell her my name and the owner interrupted and says, am I supposed to care who you are? And I said, well, I have a reservation to go rafting. I'm told *THEY DON'T DO RESERVATIONS*. At this point I'm completely confused. I tried to be polite and just ask what I had paid for and signed the night before. Again, I'm treated like nobody had any idea who I was, and am told they don't take reservations. The whole thing was confusing so I just tried to remind them about our conversation the previous night. This led to being screamed at by the owner. I feel like I was lied to in an effort to get me to go camping and they never had any intention of letting me go rafting. Like I said, I've been coming here so long and never, ever had a single issue. I've been coming here every summer for the last 6 years. I never had a problem. Reservation is $10 per person for your group. It is non-refundable if you have to cancel but they are willing to reschedule with you. Worst comes to worse you lose out on $10. Not the end of the world. Reasonable prices for the size of your group and beautiful area. I always stick to river side campsite. Staff doesnt micromanage the campsites, they just ask to keep it clean. They're also VERY friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are cleaned every hour I believe as well. I also suggest getting a cart full of wood for your trip (depending on your length of stay and number of people with your group) They drive the wood right up to your campsite and it's one less thing to worry about. My family & I (8 people, including myself) have gone camping here every year since 2013. We choose to go the 2nd weekend in October, when there aren't many other campers on other sites, and it's been tradition ever since. The less campers around us, the better. A group of us stay up ALL NIGHT... "partying", if you catch my drift. WE ARE ROWDY AND LOUD! Basically, you wouldn't want to be our neighbors. WE RESERVE AHEAD for the BIGGEST & BEST SITE! After each camping trip, we reserve the same site for the following year. It's the furthest from the entrance and very isolated (the way we like it.) No one bothers us, we don't bother them. It's on the water and has PLENTY of space. Some of the family goes to bed early and wants to be FAR away from the noise surrounding the campfire. There's plenty of space between the campfire and the tents, and everyone is happy in the end. EMPLOYEES: They've never given us any trouble. There aren't many rules, so there really aren't any reasons for them to get on our case about everything. They come down to your site each night to let you know that they're closing up and offer more wood if you need it for the rest of the night. On the grounds & even on the phone, they're always polite, friendly and want to make sure WE have the best weekend possible. ********************************************************* DO NOT BY WOOD FROM THEM! The price is way overpriced for what you get. They'll give you SOME good wood, but mostly stumps and moisturized wood which won't burn. Instead... bring your OWN: * WEATHERED WOOD (wood that has been sitting out, is dry, is dead & will catch a flame right away) * DURAFLAMES * LARGE BOTTLES OF LIGHTER FLUID ... in order to make your perfect campfire ... 1. Light only one Duraflame (by itself) at the bottom of the fire. Leave it there until the entire Duraflame is lit up everywhere. 2. Start stacking the wood above the Duraflame in a 'tent' like position (this will be the ONLY time you'll stack like this). 3. Squeeze that lighter fluid all over it and let it burn! ... after the wood seems to be burning down a little bit and you can no longer see the 'tent' position, it's time to ... CHANGE YOUR METHOD! 1. Begin stacking your wood like JENGA pieces, but spread apart from one another to let air flow. 2. Continue this method for as long as you keep the fire going. Use Lighter Fluid allllll you want for blasting & blazing fires! read more

It takes a lot for me to leave a bad review, but after my horrible experience I was compelled to deter others from coming here. My boyfriend and I drove three hours to the campground. When we went into the office, there was a woman, Nicole, at the front desk and a few male employees sitting behind her. None of them were wearing masks despite the sign stating that they must be worn in the office. She immediately started giving us an attitude for reasons unbeknownst to me. She gave us snide remarks and was rolling her eyes- literally the most miserable person I've ever encountered. The male employees appeared to be drunk and weren't any easier to deal with. After paying, and being told where to go, we took numerous trips from the car down a steep, unpaved hill to the site. After an hour and a half of unpacking and setting everything up, one of the men from the office told us we had to leave or he was calling the cops. Needless to say, we were frustrated and extremely confused. We went back to the office and Nicole told us that the site (which she told us to go to) was too big for two people and we had to leave. We asked her why she made this decision an hour and a half after we got there and she didn't know what to say. At first she refused to give my boyfriend a refund (even though we were leaving). She eventually gave him some of the money back ($75 when it should have been $100). Honestly, the situation was so insane, I thought I was being punked. We immediately started packing, and another employee started yelling at us threatening to call the cops. We couldn't have been packing any faster. The employees are rude, nasty, drunk racists. They have a bad reputation and it is beyond me how they are still open. Please do not waste your time, money or energy at this hell hole. read more

This place has a serious issue with safety and security. Probably ok for a younger crowd looking to get drunk but I wouldn't recommend it for a family stay. We camp there over the weekend from Aug 18-Aug 20. Bunch of people got drunk keeping the rest of the campground up all night. They were extremely loud, cursing nonstop, yelling "freedom", and running around the campsites. Their car alarms went off numerous times in the middle of the night. There was NO SECURITY PERSONNEL or a STAFF MEMBER on premises to interfere. No wifi or phone service in the area to make an emergency phone call. Been going here a few times a year for the past five years. never had any issues until the last visit. It was a weekend so the nearby campsites were full but for them to give a noise complaint at 10pm on a Saturday night is ridiculous. Not to mention that we weren't even loud. The other group that was nearby and closer to us didn't complain and even said that everything was fine the night before. One thing I'm not fond of us the increase in the nightly rate. Just keeps going up and compared to state parks where it's a lot cheaper it's a shame. Lastly, the girl that was working the front desk was rather rude to my friend and I over a deposit we made. The other employees are perfectly fine except for her. We put down sixty for a group of six people for at least the first night, but one of my friends became sick and couldn't make it. No where in their contract it shows that it's not refundable or can be used for the rest of the payment. Instead we lost the $10 for no reason and I told her it's not fair. That $10 is supposed to go towards the payment of the five people because in the end it's still ONE CAMPING SPOT so they are NOT losing out on another spot. RIDICULOUS..... I might reconsider and find another spot because of this unprofessionalism. read more

Absolutely terrible!!! No rules whatsoever. It may sound awesome that they don't control the noise level until you have the loudest group of people blasting music for legit 48 hours straight!!!! They also had about 20 people on 1 site. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting and not following any COVID protocol.... they clearly did not clean. No soap or toilet paper. I actually feel like I have a disease from staying there and I have grew up camping my entire life. Also you pay per person per night, which adds up to be way more expensive than other campgrounds. I will not be back. 1 positive is the nice view on the water= 1 star. read more

So been coming here for years ... this year the first night was rough . Big group was loud . Kept whole campground up . Well the staff had them packing as soon as they came in . The staff is great . So accommodating to any situation. Cj ( pretty sure thats his name ) . This guy fixed my ladder rack for me . So i could get my kayaks home . Always a great time . Bathrooms are clean and if messy just tell them . There will be a few people cleaning them immediately. read more

I had booked a reservation at Jerry's Three River Campground and was told that there was a $10 deposit per person and that there was a 48 hour cancellation policy. I then called to cancel a week and a half in advance and was told that the deposit was non-refundable - and that you can only reschedule your reservation. This was never communicated to me over the phone and is not clearly communicated on their website. Therefore, if you are planning to book, please note that it is 20$ per person per night and that there is a $10 per person non-refundable deposit. The 48 hour cancellation policy does not mean you will get your deposit back if you cancel before that. The manager refused to refund me the $40. I will not be visiting Jerry's in the future, and will instead continue to visit alternatives such as North South Lake (check it out!) & Clarence Fahnestock due to this poor customer service. read more

Came to Jerry's hoping for a relaxing weekend, and found the opposite. The campsite is incompetently run, dirty, and overall a terrible experience. Both nights groups on neighboring sites were blaring music and fireworks until late in the morning. Fireworks are illegal in New York State, yet Jerry's seemed to ignore this fact. I had complained several times to the staff and despite multiple assurances from them, nothing happened. I could perhaps forgive sparklers, but these were loud, blasting fireworks that shook our campground, going off well into the early mornings. Aside from that, large groups kept blaring music well into the evening. Jerry's claims to have "quiet hours" from 11-7, but clearly nobody cares enough to enforce this supposed rule, and my friends and I got little sleep both nights we were there as a result of their total carelessness. A staff member mentioned their security had just quit, so there was nobody around to patrol the grounds in the evening, which made my friends and I feel unsafe considering the company around us. The campsite told us to call the police on the campers setting off fireworks, but of course nobody has cell service to do so; rather than dealing with the problem themselves they chose to ask us to do it for them. Instead of taking any initiative, they instead pretend to care and go on ignoring the problem. I even spoke to Jerry himself, and all he told me was "well, I tried", and went about his day, not doing anything. Nothing could be clearer to show their utter lack of care. In addition, their campsites are dirty and poorly maintained. Ours had garbage from previous occupants spread around the grounds, the campsite was muddy and filled with tire tracks, and the picnic tables were falling apart. Their fire pits are small and without cooking grates, and they have the nerve to charge for them. We purchased a large bundle of firewood that cost quite a bit of money, but the firewood they gave us was damp and therefore useless, creating more smoke than fire. Though they have bathrooms on site, they were filthy, unmaintained (one stall didn't have toilet paper twice when I went), and one of the toilets was regularly clogged. Needless to say, avoid Jerry's if you can. I'm sure there are plenty of other places to camp and float, but this shouldn't be one you visit. read more

I drove two hours to visit this site. It rained the entire day which is my fault. Then there staff came by to tell me that the dam was going to be released and our campsite would be flooded this was at 9 p.m and offered us a new site. So I went home. The camp was already dark and raining. They won't even comp me one day which I paid for 4 people. The women on the phone over talked me and basically told me in the nicest of ways that the owner says "go screw yourself" I even offered to pay for two additional days on a return trip. read more

Great location with great scenery. First time camping so not much to compare to but overall the place was nice. Two complaints were that the firewood we bought from the campground was wet and that everyone is stacked on top of each other. For the price and location you can't go wrong. read more

This October will be year 8 at Jerry's for me and my family. This place to be is home! The owner is an awesome guy along with his sons who are super helpful. One of the staff members, Mary is awesome and will go out of her way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. There are full operating bathrooms with showers and the grounds are super clean. Out of many trips I go on during the year this is the place I look forward to going to most! We book for the following year as soon as we are checking out and then we count down the months, days, hours, minutes and seconds to our next stay! read more

Had a team building event there and did the camping and rafting. 1. The location is far enough away from Manhattan that you feel like you're camping. It's very beautiful and inspiring! 2. The facilities are really well maintained and offer a balance of creature comforts as well as adventure. 3. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Didn't have any issues. My boyfriend and I booked a 2 night stay during the July 4th weekend. We were lucky and got a nice campground under the trees that overlooked the water. We didn't have running water or electric at our site but we managed. The staff was extremely nice and they delivered the wood we purchased right to our site. It was our first time there so I'm not sure how busy it usually is but I guess with it being the holiday weekend, it was pretty busy. Campgrounds were way too close to each other, other campers played their music really loud all day and night. Children and even their parents kept walking/running through our campground which I thought was very rude. I felt like there was no privacy. The bathhouses had showers but were not very clean. The raft rental was the best part in my opinion. We spent a whole day rafting down the Delaware River and we both had a blast we would definitely like to do it again. If you decide on rafting I would recommend bringing food and drinks with you. They were very forgiving with the rules. I would definitely go back there again. read more

This place was awesome!! Beautiful, clean camp ground. Bathrooms/showers not too far away from tent sites. Staff was very accommodating.
