They provided food, lodging, and incredible training, which led to positive responses from all Cadets and their instructors. I can't say enough good things about Ring Homestead Camp. My nephew celebrated his birthday here with a few hours of paintball and the staff was amazing. The referees took the time to learn every boy's name, encouraged them throughout the different games they played and let them play in different fields. They even gave ideas of different kinds of paintball for the kids to play (Iron man, anyone?) to keep them entertained. There are vending machines throughout the property as well so you can buy a bottle of water or Gatorade post-game as well as benches near every field so you can watch from the outside if you don't want to play! The property is pretty big so you can have a birthday party without really bothering other parties or feel like you're on top of one another. read more

One of the better fields in the area. Prices are reasonable compared to others and they have a lot of nice fields. They appeal to those that like speed ball (with speed ball fields) and those of us that like playing in the woods like me they have large wooded fields. Went with a group of friends and we had a blast. It wasn't crowded so we had a field to ourself until another small group showed up and we teamed up against each other. They offered free air refills and have decent Tipman guns to rent. read more

Last year 2 of our Cheer Teams visited Ring Homestead Camp & Adventure Paintball and had a blast. The rate was more than fair, the communication with the office with the staff was very easy and the children had a BLAST! The kids were entertained in a very structured setting and some of them did things they didn't think they could ever do. Staff works with our schedule and our training needs and produce the best results -- EVERY year. Each station is a challenge that ensures safe adventure is had by all. Trying to plan a corporate event and the interaction with management has been terrible. Each day we've been told a contract would be provided and we're now 1 week out from our "planned" event have yet to receive any additional information. I've read other reviews being hopeful it was just a negative one-time experience, but alas those reviews are very accurate. read more

For the past 7 years my friends and I have made Ring Homestead Camp & Adventure Paintball our go to place for our paintball trips. Every year we bring we bring a large group (50-80) of people & we always have a great time. The staff treats us like family, hence why we've come back each year & ALWAYS recommend our friends, associates & colleagues to come there. But on 9/17/2017 our group of 90+ was turned off by the manager there named Laura.We've never seen or dealt with Laura before, but from the moment we arrived around 830/845am she had a nasty attitude toward us. Several people never went paint balling before & wanted clarification on the process. So they decided to ask her questions, but she got frustrated & started responding very rudely. this is just one example out of many that i was told by my group & their experience with Laura. Not only was she nasty with us, but she was extremely rude with her employees. I commend them because despite her yelling & talking down to them in front of our group (very unprofessional), they kept a positive attitude the whole time & answered every question & fixed every issue without any problem. A few of the workers there were happy to see us because they've been there as long as we've been coming. We could tell by the look on their faces that they weren't happy working for Laura which is another problem. A mother came in to let them know her party of teenage boys were running late for their 2:00 appointment & hearing the way she talked to the mother not only left me with a surprised look on my face but on the mothers face as well. i've been in the customer service field for over 10 years & this is not the way you treat your customers & employees. Especially if you want to continue running a successful business. Laura needs to have a positive attitude at all times dealing with customers, if she is unable to do so then she needs be managing something else other than employees & customers. Many of us came from Long Island where they have a few paintball fields. So to travel nearly 2 hours to get treated the way we did was not appreciated at all. read more

After my initial review, my team at work attempted to book a day at Ring Homestead. Getting them to send us a contract, for over 30 people, has been next to impossible. We have decided to scrap our plans. Imagine, we have been trying to pay this place over $3,000 and they have been completely unresponsive. What a way to do business... read more

AWESOME PLACE ! STAFF IS GREAT ! Been going there for many MANY years ! OWNED by same family since 1970's ! Everytime I go there I meet people who have been there when THEY were kids, and now bringing THEIR kids ! Safety is always stressed, and FUN is always had. They have Ropes, Paintball and many more activities ! The founder is a real sweetheart of a guy. (yes, he CAN still be found there, and NO, he NEVER left, and the family is always on property overseeing the many activities) ..... They even host private parties and events and I've always heard squeals of laughter in the woods durring kids birthday parties ! ..... EVEN CAMPS from NY, NJ, and PA bring THEIR camp kids there for fun day and overnight trips ! Besides people from all over NYC, and other states, I've met people who've traveled as far as California, Canada and even Germany there on return trips ! GREAT employment oportunity for young people as I've always seen polite, helpful teens and adults and I've witness the training they go thru. Safety comes first followed by Fun, and then more fun ! I've seen class trips, camps, 3 yr olds, middleschoolers, high schoolers, handicapped children and elders with huge smiles on their faces as they romp around the park in harnesses or paintball gear. Any bad review would have to be from a troublemaker or fake person, because all the years I've been going there, the only people who had a bad time there, was someone acting unruly, those trying to sneak in booze or their own unsafe paintballs, (strict rule of camps safe field paint only), OR those trying to bypass the safety rules in which case they all always get caught, (camp has video surveilence, and purpetrators are always quietly escorted out) . If there were more than 5 stars, I'd give it.. ********** RING HOMESTEAD CAMP is family oriented and sensitive to religous beliefs and traditions. The office staff has always answered any of my questions and have been a great help in the planning of my events and I've even overheard them speaking to others. No complaints here ! I highly recommend this place for fun, public or private events. And I've attended many here. read more

I went to camp here about two summers ago and before that I played paintball there just about every week. I must say that the customer service is absolutely unacceptable, I want to be treated like a customer not a child. One of the employees kicked my out of the shop and yelled at me because he told me there was a sign that said use the other door which was quite unreadable. I purchased a used Paintball gun and it never worked and I asked for a refund and he said that he could not do it because I had no receipt even though I clearly purchased it days before during the camp. The Prices are very expensive also they charge $70 for a box of 2000 balls of poor quality paint. The fields are ok ,but many times they are flooded or closed. I strongly recommend against coming here I'll be going to MSG instead. read more

Fucking shit hole been playing there since I started playing paintball 10 years old to 19 and I'm still playing. They don't maintain their fields. Half the time there compressors are running low. 2000 psi the norm is 3000 -4500. They charge $5 for air if your season pass holder which is total bs. There flyers advertise 65 a case but they charge 70-80 for a case of xo menus spectrum which is garbage paint that they used to sell at there old shop for 30$. I understand they have to make money but christ Eric(owner) stop raping people for paint prices that's why no one practices there any more. There rental guns are shot 70 percent of there tanks are out of hydro. If you want to play real speed ball and practice with local teams play at lainway if you wanna play woods ball go to msg. Don't fund ring homestead camp it's a shit hole that is way to expensive. Not mention new employees they do unpaid training for the first 3 days which is illegal. read more
