If I could give them more than 5 stars I would!! They were amazing!! We first called in to schedule someone to go measure two spaces we wanted to change the tile, we got an appt but since we were in the area one day we decided to stop by their store in Midlothian and look at the tiles in person. We were greeted and helped right away, and we were actually able to move the appt for a sooner date! They have tons of tile options, tons!!! Great selection! We were able to get the job scheduled very soon, they were able to work with us on timing and they told was it would take just 2 days for the job from start to finish, sure enough that's all it took, clean job, fast, excellent service and great communication all along the process. They did our laundry room tile and out fireplace tile and I can't stop looking at them!! They look soooo pretty!!!!! Highly recommend them!!! read more

Outstanding customer service. We went in to have a rug made out of some carpet. Linda and Austin knew exactly what we needed and gave us great recommendations. We dug through all of their "remnant" carpets and found a high quality piece of carpet that fit our size requirements. Jerry's J&W had the carpet cut, bound and ready for us to pick up in 6 business days. Total cost was less than half of the cheapest traditional rug. We are SO happy we decided to work with this company! We were looking to tear out flooring and install for about 600 sq ft. We originally thought we would do it ourselves to save money but we're so busy! It turns out it was cheaper to us to hire this company- we purchased flooring from them, they did all tear out, hauled away, and install! Their employees are really kind and personable! Vickie Henson -- I am very disappointed in Jerry's J&W Carpet. We chose this business because they were locally owned. Had been in business since the '80s. I read several reviews that were bad. Poor customer service, poor quality installation. The reviews were from 2007, 2009. I hoped it was just disgruntled customers. Unfortunately, they were spot on. The installation price "that couldn't be beat" should have been a warning. The installation was bad. Trying to get them to come fix the problems was worse. Came out once, did not fix the problem. After many phone calls, and just not showing up finally came back to work on the floor. But this was only after going to the business multiple times. Still many places that are not fixed. We bought an expensive tile floor from them, installed by their installer. After several years, it began to come loose. I've dealt with Jerry's J&W on multiple projects for over 20 years. I've always been very satisfied with the quality of their work, and fair pricing. They are happy to special order even small quantities and are unfailingly cheerful and accommodating. I saw the review from Ray W. that said he wasn't happy that his floor tile came up after "several years". No mention as to what type of tile it was, but since it was put down with glue, I assume that it wasn't ceramic. Somehow, I have to doubt that the glue "wasn't put down correctly". I have to think that this opinion was offered by another contractor trying to sell him a new floor (and run down the competition). After using multiple flooring contractors in the Waxahachie/Red Oak area over a period of years, I believe Jerry's is the best in the area. read more

Jerry's installed beautiful hardwood floors in our home a few years ago, and we could not be more pleased. I am so glad we got rid of the carpet, and I am grateful to have done business with Jerry and his team. In fact, they are coming out again this week to measure for wood flooring in the guest bedroom, along with tile floors in two bathrooms. They have great selections, and you can take home samples to determine what works best in your home. Due to consumer demand, the cost of hardwood flooring has actually come down. I had TexasTraditions/Pinnacle Laminate floor installed from Jerry's in March 2012. After it was installed I noticed it did not look quite like the color I picked out. Now the floor is buckling in a few areas after only 5 months. I contacted Jerry about problem. When Jerry came out to view the floor he assured me he will get the problem fixed by calling the mfg and have them to come out to see what is happening to the floor. I also told him that I don't think this is the correct color I choose. I went to the Texas Traditions websit and found the color I did choose and noticed that the names are very similar. I choose Deep River Oak and they installed Rock Creek Oak. I asked Jerry to make this right and install the correct color I choose for I paid quite alot for floor. He stoped returning my phone calls. So I called Linda at Jerry's. She said "she didn't not know about problem for Jerry has not told her". So she said "she will get in contact w/rep and schedule for them to come out but they will not replace my floor with the correct color". It has been over a week and no one from Jerry's has contacted me. I called them today and Linda said "Jerry has talked to rep but now Jerry is out of the country and she can't get and answer when she calls the rep." I am so disappointed in Jerry's service and their don't care attitude. I WILL NOT RECCOMEND JERRY' J & W CARPETS TO MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS OR EVEN A TOTAL STRANGER. I KNOW MY ISSUE WITH THEM WILL NEVER BE RESOLVED BECAUSE OF THEIR "DON'T CARE I GOT YOUR MONEY" ATTITUDE. read more
