This is my second car purchased from this dealership. I liked the sales people with whom I dealt but the sale was riddled with the classic schemes of lesser dealers of the past. This is NOT the Jerry's Hyundai I encountered in 2019, but a business mimicking the dreaded Shottenkirk empire of dealerships, famous for their deceptions. Online, I downgraded my near show-condition low-mileage trade for tiny blemishes, rating it as Very Good. Jerry's valued it at about $2,100 below the going market price. I deemed that as acceptable considering the tax advantage and effort of selling. When I arrived with the car at Jerry's for an initial test drive, the salesperson agreed and took multiple photos of the car. We test-drove the 2026 Tucson I'd found online. I brought my wife back the next day for a final drive and possible purchase. We opted for a slightly more expensive model, adding $2,740 to the MRSP. When the initial numbers were handed to me, they seemed unusually high: the dealer had devalued my trade-in $3,300 or about 18%. When I apologized to my wife for bringing her to the dealership under the false pretense of a reasonable trade and announced my intention to leave, the dealership agreed to honor the online appraisal. Still, our projected bottom line was off. Lo and behold, at the final tally a new $1,495 item labeled "Accessories" that was not on the window sticker had suddenly appeared in their cost estimates. "This is just for window tinting and nitrogen in the tires," the salesperson explained. Undetectable window tinting and nitrogen? No documentation for tinting film, no tinting contractor contact information, no discernible darkness of the windows. Nitrogen costs little more to use in lieu of air for inflation. I should know, as a former Air Force instructor pilot of ten years, an airline captain with a 33-year career: we always used nitrogen in our tires. Granted, I have purchased dozens of cars beginning in 1972, and have encountered similar sales tactics in the past. But, based on my 2019 Jerry's purchase, the detailed online cost itemization, and initial interaction with the stellar sales staff, I felt this transaction would be transparent, straightforward and free of surprises. Not quite. Buyers need to beware that these methods are now being used at Jerry's and factor them into your comparisons with other dealers' offerings in advance. read more

Jerry Durant Auto Group - Do not base sales decisions on costs detailed online. - Car Dealers Near Me - Weatherford, Texas

I cannot recommend this dealership to anyone. I Purchased my vehicle on 07/23/2025. I still do not have my registration as of 12/22/25. They say it is up to the Texas clearing house for titles, being the problem. They are in breach of contract for going past the required 60 days deadline. I have had to send the same information 3 times and still no tags read more

ZERO STARS. Took my car for an insurance claim for hitting an animal, body work needed. Got my car bvk with NO A/C! They put freon in it, only to have it leak right back out. They denied any liability even tho my a/c has never given me problems AND blew ice cold when I took it in! Now I am paying 2g out of pocket to repair the damages THEY caused. Crooks! And I'm sure they expected me to get my repairs there. HECK NO! Wouldn't send my worst enemy there. read more

Bought a used Cadillac SUV at the Weatherford site. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and willing to help. Bought from sales rep. Mario R. and he couldn't have been more helpful; answered all questions and was knowledgeable. Also, this dealership is where I spent the least amount of time in a Finance office. Finance mgr was organized and promptly finished the business. Overall, a very good experience! read more

Terrible! Did not honor several promises made at purchase and was anything but courteous and respectful. I am a 75 year old retired pastor .... not quite used to that. Service department relies on voice-mail, dealership only wants to argue when these issues are brought up. Zero value placed on customers. Rude and cibdescending. Never again. read more

Manager Terry Ford is awful! Stay away from the sales department. He will argue with you.

Wow, where to start. I contacted them about a car a couple of weeks ago, and we finally agreed to a price. The car was still onboarding (it's crazy how long they take for this, but I digress) so after I put down my 500 dollar deposit to lock in, I thought I was good to go. A few days before I planned on going up there (I like in Kyle TX, and they're in Weatherford TX) they called me and said a check engine light had come on and they needed to replace a turbo sensor..ok, no big deal, still all under warranty. The next day I find out all is well and we agreed I'd come up there on July 3rd to pick it up. Today, July 2nd, they call me and said they've discovered some vibrations related to the rims they didn't originally see (WTF??!) and now they said they can't sell me the car??! I'm VERY skeptical about this, my gut says they had someone come in to pay more than I planned to and this was their excuse to get out of the deal I made with them. How in the hell can you not notice a vibration with the car and the rims having the car there for 2 freaking weeks? I'm so mad about this I can't see straight...so yeah, there's my review. Good luck with dealing with them. read more

Brought my Duramax in for a fuel pump replacement which should have been covered by warranty. The technician broke a clip to a fuel pressure sensor and said I had to pay $710 before they would warranty the fuel pump. I just had the sensor replaced by another mechanic and they had pictures to prove that the clip was intact when I left there. No telling how many people they have done this to, I just happen to have proof that the part was intact when I brought it to them. Even after I explain to them this was a case, they still said I had to pay for a replacement sensor before they could warranty the pump. Very poor customer service and dishonest. read more

Isaac Perez has now handled sales of 5 cars to family and friends. We even followed him from a different dealership to ensure he was our sales rep! Always pleasant dealing with him - have never had an issue, always a simple process. Thank You Isaac, we will see you next time and keep referring people your way! read more

The folks at Jerry Durant Auto Group were fantastic. Jake Reid took care of me and my family, he was fair and honest and very professional from start to finish. Everyone who was involved in the purchasing process was awesome. If you're look for a great dealership that is straight forward and no BS, look no further than Jerry Durant Auto Group. Great job guys! read more

Crooks! Unethical! Greedy! These words do not do justice to this organization. I caution you to avoid doing business with this company and do not buy any products from their finance department. They sold a 3 year service contract on a vehicle that has a 3 year warranty and refused to make it right. They will take advantage of a trusting customer so buyer beware. read more

My car transaction is not completely finalized (waiting on tags/title/etc), but I feel confident leaving a review already! I would highly recommend checking out the huge selection/value, and I thoroughly recommend working with Brian Page. He helped find the perfect used fit for me, and helped guide me through the entire process. I could not have asked for a more patient and genuine experience! Absolutely worth the drive from Mid-Cities. Thanks again Brian! read more

I was pleasantly surprised by my salesman Mario at Jerry's Preowned II. He was genuinely nice and worked hard to get me into a vehicle that I would be happy with. I worked with him all together about two weeks and never once felt pressured. We went back and forth on several vehicles and then they had one come in that was not on the lot yet and he let me know first that I might be interested in it. I LOVE my new car and I got a better trade in for my old car than what other dealerships wanted to give me. Thanks to Steve as well for helping out. read more

I bought a 2011 Ford Fiesta from Trey Wallace at Jerry's Hyundai in January. I was told that the car had no issues and that it was in great condition. From day one, this car has been very noisy but I was told that was because it was a Ford. I took it to Autonation Ford for a recall fix and they informed me that the front wheel bearings and hubs need replacing. This will cost $1300. On top of that, the shocks and spark plugs were leaking from day one also. I have purchased 2 cars from Jerry's and sent multiple family members in their direction, leading to purchases. I am disappointed to say that I will no longer be able to do this with a clear conscience. I would be open to changing my opinion if they would fix it but I am not holding my breath since Mr. Garza, the used car manager, NEVER calls anyone back. read more

If I could give no stars I would. Deceptive business. I travelled two hours to test drive a car. Decided it was the one. When they "appraised" my trade in the offered $4000 less than a another dealership. They tried to tell me reasons for this. I did my homework and knew the fair trade in range. The only reason has to be they don't deal fairly. It won't drop that much in value in a week. They didn't even reconsider their offer. Their cars are valuable but yours are not. How dare they not be more considerate of my only day off in weeks, my gas, my money, and my time away from my family. read more

Ripped my wife off to the tune of $110 for a cabin air filter and an engine air filter. $30 of it was for labor! For 2 minutes of work! Overpriced filters to the tune of $80! Ones I could get at the auto parts store for 25 bucks. Just a typical dealer ripoff. Stay away from Jerry's. read more

Where do I begin. Found a used vehicle here online. I live 5 hours away from the dealership. I talked with the sale rep placed a hold payment on the vehicle during the week and agreed to drive in that weekend to get the car, with the understanding that it was what was represented. 3 hours into my 5 hour drive there to get the vehicle the sales rep calls me and tells me that they have found that the AC blower motor isn't functioning properly, that they will replace it but the part has to be ordered and can't be completed till the following week. I agreed to go ahead and continue my trip there to look at it and check it out knowing the AC issue. We get there agree to purchase the vehicle and they would repair the AC and meet me half way with the vehicle upon completion. The following week we meet and take the car. On our way back home we notice the AC is still not functioning properly. I call the sales rep and told him it was still not working and he said he would check with his people and call me back. Never heard a word from them. I checked it out and found it was not the blower motor it was the electric fan for the AC condenser. I ordered the part and fixed it myself. Now we get to the real problem. The vehicle was purchased 4 months ago (today is 12-15-17). I still haven't received the registration. I have called and called them. The only answer I have gotten is "we are having a hard time getting the title from the previous owner". First off should they have sold me the car without having the title from the previous owner to begin with? I wouldn't think so. So here we are 4 months later still no registration. I called again, today was transferred to 3 different people, the last one going to a voicemail box. So again, no answer. I can't believe I drove 5 hours away passing by countless dealerships that I could have done business with to get the run around from this one. read more

Bought a 2007 Tahoe the end of July 2016, was told the mechanic shop checked it over. Two weeks later we find out the brakes are bad and needed to be replaced and now in December just had to replace the air shocks. Have now spent over $1600. These are things that should have been found if they really checked it over. Will never buy another car from them and cannot recommend them. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER! Bought a 01 Ford Ranger on 7/21, by 7/23 we already needed to replace the wheel bearings, the following week an O2 sensor, this week the camshaft syncronizer, which could've caused major engine damage. Some 100 point inspection they said they did. They must've been inspecting the upholstery or to make sure it had the gallon of Armor All inside. It took weeks of searching for a truck to have as a work truck NOT a truck to work on. It's understandable this is an older model with little driven miles according to the carfax, but to think we should trust a franchise dealer versus a private dealer, well this dealer just made me second guess that option. NOBODY can be TRUSTED!! And as for you Wes Brown, although I don't blame you for ALL the mechanical issues, which you HONESTLY should've checked on before selling such a lemon, you sir, should be ashamed of yourself for exposing all your Christian plaques, books, etc, when you sir were THE most dishonest person. After you called to check how the truck was & we told you the issues we were already having, you gave us the bold-face lie of "let me talk to my manager to see how we can help you & I'll call you back." Still waiting on that phone call buddy! Have a blessed day, sir & remember God is watching everything you do! read more
