I recently had the good fortune to become acquainted with Matthew McLean of Shoreline Realty in…read moreDaytona Beach after observing his excellent service involving the sale of a neighbor's beachside Daytona Beach home. When I decided to put my own house on the market a few months ago, I remembered Shoreline Realty from the name on the side of Matthew's pick-up truck, looked him up, and reached out. We met at my home soon after to get acquainted, have Matthew get a look at the house, and voice our thoughts on appropriate updates/repairs, the asking price, for getting it on the market, etc. With Matthew's guidance and assistance in facilitating preparations, the house was listed on April 20th, had six showings, and had two solid offers within a week. In the interim, I've come to know Matthew as a high-energy person of integrity, with a wealth of local knowledge and resources who grew up in the area and is finely tuned to the local real estate markets. He's reliable, intelligent yet relatable, driven yet chill, and knows how to market properties to the best advantage for both buyers and sellers. His appreciation and knowledge of older homes such as mine, as well as his knowledge of how houses of all eras are put together (and his sense of humor), is a bonus. If you are looking for a real estate agent in Volusia County who's willing to put in the work and go the extra mile, I enthusiastically recommend Matthew McLean of Shoreline Realty.

Responsive, Communicative and Professional! Alan and his…read moreteam were there for us in a total pinch. With a looming closing date of our new dream home, and sub-par realtor who was less than communicative, and couldn't seem to guarantee anyone could do the survey, We became desperate and turned to Yelp. I left messages for about 4-5 survey companies, on a late Friday night after business hours. I left message after message detailing our needs and time constraints. By the time I awoke on Saturday morning, Alan had already texted me, to let me know he could move some things around and could have his guy there on Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Not only did Peninsula Survey do a great job on time, but Alan was the only one to return my call, of the 4 or 5 surveyors that I left messages with. We did pay probably slightly more, but our new home is in Melbourne Beach and his team traveled almost 2 hours to do the survey...well worth the excellent work and peace of mind. Thanks Peninsula Surveying!!

I will not be able to recommend this management company to anyone in the future…read more I engaged Peggy for tenant placement services based on a referral from my agent, who assisted me in purchasing my first investment property in Orlando, as I reside out of state. My unit remained vacant for three months without a tenant or any discernible progress. My calls went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly contact her via text messages, to which she would typically respond two days later. When I brought my concerns to upper management, she attempted to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, it was beyond repair. Ultimately, I had to terminate the agreement. I then engaged a management company that proved to be exceptionally proactive and communicative. They successfully identified a new tenant within a week, and the tenant moved in the following week. It is truly regrettable to operate and work in such circumstances when one cannot conduct business professionally. I have unfortunately expended my time and resources by placing my trust in a central Florida management company that proved to be untrustworthy.

Absolutely horrible company, stay clear…read more They work with you decent to get you into the home but after that it is nothing but bad news. They do not make it easy or communicate with you on how to get things set up and going. They do not work with you with issues. I had issues, I am not talking about small ones that I fix my self (I am a handy man) but legit issues and they would keep denying them. When you would speak with a rep, even they would tell you that "some bean counter approves or denies while looking at a price and not the problem". Then when you finally get ahold of them, they talk to you like dirt. I had one of their reps talk to my wife very disrespectfully, I had to find someone on charge via LinkedIn just to be able to escalate, then nothing happens anyways. Very unprofessional company. I would be embarrassed if I ran a business like this. My best advice is to steer clear.
