Had to ask for my paperwork multiple times and was accused of not paying for the her services from the prior year when I did in fact pay. We had a phone consultation which is free of charge with no obligation and she was able to give me advise on how I can help myself when it came to federal taxes. She advised me on the changes I need to make on my W4. During the phone consultation, she told me she wouldn't be able to save me any extra money because I did everything correctly on my own. I appreciated the honesty, she could have easily called me in and charged me money for filing or advising but she didn't. My experience with Jeri was TERRIBLE. As someone who had never hired a tax professional before, I had my fair share of questions as this process was entirely new to me. Jeri was rude, impatient, and very difficult to work with. She even charged me an extra fee on top of our previously agreed upon price because I asked for a confirmation page once the work was done... She said this was not a "normal part of her service." The 60 seconds it takes to forward someone something like this... it was incredibly tacky. If you are looking for someone to work collaboratively with on a very important part of your life, do yourself a favor and do not consult her. She was just awful. read more

I would highly recommend Ms. Jeri Miller. I had the same tax preparer for over 25 years and when she retired I had to find someone new. The last two people I used made a lot of mistakes. I was getting letters from the IRS and Franchise Tax Board. I could not find any answers on how to fix the problem.
