Please DO NOT send anyone here or to the Adult Stabilization Unit if they are in Mental Health…read moreCrisis. Had a friend go yesterday who was expressing SI, showed up at the door...they told him that "you have to call first".....he goes to his car, calls, expresses the concerns, they tell him they will have someone call him back! 30 minutes or more later, he is called back and told to go in. He does, again relives and re-expresses the SI and all traumas he is juggling. They tell him that they are full and he is FINE because in 48 hours (from that time) he has a MH appt scheduled with his therapist. They try to pawn him off on places that are PART IF THE ISSUE and he told them that to which he received, "sorry, we don't think you are a danger to yourself. You are asking pertinent questions, answering well, etc.". Absolutely he was!!! How do tig think folks with MH issues get through the days???? Masks! Coping strategies like questioning, reading people's emotions and reacting accordingly to keeping the conflict down! This place is Neglectful and they again caused more hurt to my friend than they helped. It's Men's MH Month....someone just jumped off a bridge two days ago locally.... They basically turned him away to do the same! Thank God for community and conversations until he was able to get family around him and I pray he makes it to his spot tomorrow!! This place and all its processes and procedures that BLOCK people from receiving assistance should be fired and the place should be shut down if they don't intend to help people who KNOW they are in the edge and admit to it, yet ask for help in refraining from "jumping". Great job View Point Health....another soul cast I ti the wind ti only allow God's hand in helping him stay alive! Horrific and Neglectful. If you live anyone in crisis, DEAR JESUS don't send them here. My friend could have sat outside in his car, taken all his meds slit his wrists, or whatever while they DEMANDED he CALL FIRST! Disgusting! Only because he called those of us in his community did he not, but I must say that we are NOT qualified and sent him somewhere that people are CLINICALLY TRAINED to handle these scenarios! And they fumbled it! So, if he ends up taking his life, View Point can access this review to understand why.... But my guess is no one will care. They dang sure didn't last night!!

If I had read the reviews prior to going, I wouldn't have gone. Honestly, zero stars is more…read moreappropriate. I went to the walk-in and spent the better part of a day there, filling forms and answering the EXACT SAME QUESTIONS to an intern (who was very nice... we sat together in her office for over an hour waiting to see the doctor after the questionnaire was completed). Dr. Hashmi spent less than 15 minutes with me and made me feel very small. He prescribed a medication and gave me a free sample... a medication that is fairly well known for being rejected by insurance companies until you've at least tried a cheaper alternative. I guess I shouldn't have been surprised when their own pharmacy sent me a message that my $650/month medication was ready to be paid for and picked up. I ended up having to do all the leg work with the insurance company to find out why it was rejected and what medications had to be looked at first. I spent over 2 weeks calling on a daily basis, sometimes being forced to leave a message (that was never responded to) or speak to every single pharmacist they have (all of which said they would talk to the doctor and get back to me... of which a total of ZERO called me back). Now, a month later, I finally get a hold of someone at the front desk and they inform me that they overcharged me for the deductible. It should have been $60 but they charged me $125. She refunded the $65 but refused to refund the $60 even though I have to do ALL this again with another doctors office. Even if they called me before clicking the Post Review button to tell me they approved the alternative, I wouldn't take it from them. How can I possibly trust them now? The front desk said I need to see Dr. Hashmi again to get the alternative prescribed, which I DON'T. He can easily change the prescription since he's already seen me but after a month of trying to get this resolved, I give up. If someone is thinking "Just charge back the $60"... I already thought about that and tried. Unfortunately since the doctor walked into the room, it's not a winning case for me (and I'm sure they know that). The doctor is a business man with a PHD, not the other way around. You're a $$$ to them, not someone that they care about. One review said "Run, don't walk away from this place" and they were exactly right. I knew I should have done that the second I walked into their waiting room and saw a young woman have a mental breakdown in front of me. She had to be carried out (not carried to the back where she'd be cared for). The second sign was after being forced to sit beside someone who hadn't showed in weeks and was arguing with himself. It was like a scene from a movie. They could have just refunded the $60 to try and undo the stress this all caused, especially since I have to do all this over again with another doctor (somewhere else, which goes without saying at this point). Don't take my word for it, the other reviews speak to what care you'll receive here. Seek help from a professional (doctor, not businessman).

All but one of the doctors are mentally competent (Dale who is no longer there) enough to assess your needs, but prepare to be a legal science experiment. Kris in particular will prescribe you an excessive amount of "trial/ sample" medication for none of the symptoms you are there for all because of a few catered lunches from drug reps. Unfortunately the lack of experience shows when they prescribe stimulants to people who have anxiety or prescribe antidepressants/SSRI to patients who have bipolar. So if you value your mental health and do not want to risk a life crisis through a mid-diagnosis. Do not come here.

They claim they had no record of my appointment. I forwarded all the emails again. Then I had an appointment today at 3:00 so I changed my schedule to work 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to meet the 3:00 appointment. I called them as soon as I got out of work at 2:30 to let them know that yes they're authorized to charge my card. He said he had already canceled my appointment. I knew he would call for payment but I wasn't informed it had to be 2 hours before the appointment I could not get off my sales floor. So again no appointment. Now he's not understanding Medicare advantage plans. I tried to explain it to him but I don't think they've ever dealt with Medicare. Because then he said that Chastity wanted to advise me that mental health was not part of my insurance, only physical health. That is completely wrong I was disabled with my bipolar diagnosis in 2005. My mental health has always been covered by my insurance whether it be anthem or previously it was Humana previously it was not an advantage plan but actually through Medicare itself. Although we rescheduled for 11:30 it does not seem that they want to take my situation and I guess I'll have to look for another provider.

I never experienced anything like this before. Honestly save yourselves the trouble I wish I would've went with another provider. This whole experience was absolutely insane.

I thought it was unusual, but it was no big deal that there wasn't a courtesy reminder call prior to the appointment. I arrive 15 min before my scheduled appointment time only to be told, "Sorry, the doctor will not be in for another 2 hours, and no one else is able to see you. We can reschedule you for later when they arrive." I have rearranged my day to make the appointment in a timely manner only to have my time taken for granted. The office did not attempt to contact me at any point prior to my arrival to say the doctor would not be able to make that time and could we reschedule. This office has a lack of consideration for clients' time and has a huge gap in their professional courtesy. I highly recommend for anyone considering this office to take your business and money elsewhere. I gave a rating of one star due to zero stars not being an option.

I saw her several times, and was very pleased with her approach, her kindness, and the effect she exudes of knowing what she was doing and how she felt we should approach my treatment. She asked for my input throughout, and took my thoughts and feelings into consideration. I was excited to work with her, but for some reason (which escapes me now) I had to stop seeing her. It had nothing to do with Laura or this practice, but rather was some sort of insurance snafu or something. I just don't remember. The ladies in the office are upbeat, friendly, and very helpful. I didn't give that 5th star because there is no physician (i.e. psychiatrist) or advanced practice med nurse associated with this practice, and you are still on your own to find one who will manage your medications, if you're on any, outside of his or her own practice. Fortunately, I had that. I would very much recommend this multi-professional practice, which has at least one therapist who specializes in almost any sort of therapy you'd need.
