My daughter was apprehensive, but after one meeting with Dr. Chris, she loved her. She didn't want to stop going once the testing was done. We got a very thorough evaluation that has helped open our eyes to exactly what is going on. We were given a thorough explanation, resources and private school recommendations. (per our request) Dr. McGinnis was recommended to us by another mom and I would highly recommend her as well. It is so worth it to have your child tested if you feel something could be off. Dr. Chris will help you with this is more ways than one!

The counselor was uncaring and only took my basic information instead of helping me through the crisis and at the very least giving me some resources of places that would be willing to help me. I spent $100, as I considered it to be an ER type visit. The counselor quickly ended our session, pushing me into the lobby when I was still sobbing uncontrollably. It was humiliating to be pushed into the small lobby with that level of emotion in front of 2 men and a child, with a woman who came in as well. Even the receptionist did not offer my to use their bathroom to wash up or Kleenex. All they wanted was to be paid and me out of there. This is absolutely the last place I would send anyone to. If you want help, resources, connection don't waste your time and/or money. This place does not even worthy of 1 star. 2/8/2020 You were correct about one thing, I did not get charged $100...I got charged for $200 and it shows on the bottom that I used a debit or credit card. Nice way to outright lie about your counseling group. You all ought to be ashamed of yourselves. People in need of proper counseling beware.

It is surprisingly difficult to find a psychiatric provider who is both clinically excellent and…read moregenuinely kind. It is even harder to find one who accepts insurance. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found Dr. Sadaf Khan. From the very first phone call to the moment I left the office, every interaction was warm, welcoming, and professional. Sadaf took the time to really get to know me. She carefully reviewed my history, listened without making me feel rushed, answered my questions thoughtfully, and treated me with genuine compassion and respect. As a nurse practitioner myself, I have very high standards when it comes to healthcare providers. I notice the little things, and I value clinicians who combine strong clinical judgment with empathy. Sadaf exceeded my expectations in every way. If you are looking for psychiatric care in the Roswell area, I would recommend her without hesitation. It is rare to find someone who is knowledgeable, compassionate, takes insurance, and truly makes you feel heard. I left my appointment feeling hopeful, understood, and confident that I was in excellent hands.

I will say the staff in the front was very polite but our psychologist is what gave us a bad taste in our mouth. We went to help our child and wound up finding out our therapist was telling me one thing and my child's father a different story. It was also discovered that the patient's confidentiality was not a priority in this case which is unacceptable since that's the person the child should trust. It was also discovered months later that there were accusations made stating that the child's issues were either the mother's fault to the father or vice versa. I am very shocked that this has happened is such an environment that should have been safe for my child not based on personal opinions and biased towards whatever party the conversations were being kept with. This is very dissapointing so all I have to say is if you choose them please be careful.

I participated in family therapy through the practice and attended the beginning of my children's sessions when requested. I was not a distant observer to these events. I was an active participant in the therapeutic process and had direct interactions with Susan Keenan over a period of years. My experience with Susan Keenan was deeply concerning. Information she provided in connection with my family's case did not accurately reflect the facts as I understood them and, in my view, contributed to a false narrative that had serious consequences for my relationship with my children. What makes this particularly troubling is that when Ms. Keenan made statements to the Guardian ad Litem regarding my family, it had been approximately six years since she had last treated my children. During those six years, she never contacted me to discuss concerns, verify timelines, review documentation, request updated information, or seek my perspective on events she was commenting on. I had previously communicated with Ms. Keenan, and those communications were positive in nature. In written communications, she described me as a positive influence in my children's lives. My prior interactions with her gave no indication of the concerns that were later attributed to her opinions. Despite having my contact information and having worked with me directly in the past, no effort was made to gather information from me before conclusions were formed and shared with the court. When I later provided documentation that contradicted key aspects of the narrative being presented, I saw no indication that those discrepancies were meaningfully addressed or corrected. More than two years after I posted my original review, that review was challenged and removed despite the fact that I retained and paid for the services, participated in family therapy through the practice, attended portions of my children's sessions, and was directly involved in the matters being discussed. The fact that a review was challenged years after it was posted does not change the underlying facts of my experience. Mental health professionals who become involved in family court matters wield tremendous influence. In my experience, that influence was exercised without adequate fact-checking, without input from all relevant parties, and without the diligence such serious matters deserve. Parents and courts alike should expect opinions to be based on current information, careful verification of facts, and a willingness to hear from all relevant parties before conclusions are reached. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Peachtree Psychology.
