It's official! First review of the year goes to the best meal I had in 4 countries! Spent my…read moreholiday season going to the Nordic countries and imo, this was by far the best meal on the entire trip. Had their famous Swedish meatballs and they were divine! I had this particular dish 5x throughout my trip in Sweden and this was by far the ultimate winner. The meatballs had a perfect texture with just the right amount of gravy and the lingonberry sauce was so fresh that all the berries were still intact. Not sure if I've ever had this dish before but had their Gravlux. If I ever had this dish before, all memory of it was erased with theirs. Cognacured with the best honey mustard I've ever had and the perfectly seasoned mini cream dill potatoes My only complaint is that they haven't decided to come to the USA, particularly Los Angeles. =)

Walking in they can quickly find you seating in an otherwise appearing busy restaurant. Staff quickly takes drink and food orders and for the short wait you can enjoy the rich and luxurious atmosphere with ornate wallpaper and decorations surprisingly complimented by the very low American/UK pop music in the background. With food this good, I understand why there are only 3 things on the menu. The meatballs were perfectly complimented with each item and combined for that perfect bite. My partner said these were the best meatballs of his life! And I could have lived my life off of their mashed potatoes. Once finished, paying is a breeze and staff cordially bids you farewell. A must if you're in the area

This sandwich restaurant is located in Malmö, which I visited as a day trip from Copenhagen…read morerecently. My family and I were walking around exploring, and we came across this restaurant. The outdoor seating was pretty packed, and the sandwiches looked amazing, so we decided to try it! I'm so glad we did. Although we didn't see any English menus, we were able to translate the menu on our phones without a problem. We ordered our food inside, and everything was prepared quickly. We ordered three Burrata sandwiches, a jamón sandwich, and an order of fries. Everything was delicious! The sandwiches were very large and packed with fresh ingredients. The fries were crispy and came with some kind of an aioli-like dip. Plenty of outdoor seating at this restaurant and you order inside at the bar using your table number, which you can find at your table. The bathrooms are interestingly covered in sticky notes left behind by previous customers. Very fun to look through!

Luckily, the table was in the shade, so it was a very pleasant temperature and we were able to eat outside. We quickly chose our sandwiches, which honestly all looked great, and did not have to wait long for our food. We ended up ordering burrata sandwiches and a jamón sandwich, as well as 2 orders of fries (which were plenty for the 4 of us). Delicious! The ingredients were fresh, and the food was presented well. Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for a tasty lunch spot!

Rebell was suggested to us by our AirBnB hosts for lunch. We were looking for Swedish Cuisine in a…read morerelaxed atmosphere. Rebell checked all of our boxes! Salad bars seem to be a big part of Swedish dining and Rebell's was fantastic. Wonderful salads and slaws accompanied by fresh bread. The counter service was fantastic. The server suggested the "Burger" to me and it was wonderful. It was reminiscent of fried meatloaf, served over creamy mashed potatoes with lingonberry sauce (think cranberry sauce) and peas. It felt like a delicious, hearty home cooked meal. My girlfriend had the grilled Haloumi Cheese with Fresh Mushrooms and Corn. It was a little heavy on the salt and butter, but the flavors were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. And at around $10 USD per dish it was the best value we got on out whole trip! I would highly suggest Rebell to anyone and where near the Malmo area!

Every dish had ingredients that were thoughtfully selected to create a delightful play of flavors and textures. To finish, we had the änglamat which was a perfect way to round out a fantastic meal. Service was fantastic and the waiter was helpful in helping us ensure we had a true taste of Sweden and on top we had wonderful conversation. Resell is a restaurant that should not be missed!

Heard about it & passed it many times in the past year & on a Tuesday night it was time to see what…read morethe hype was all about. It was packed/fully booked. Our choices for dinner (day before reservation) were seating at 6:15 or earlier or 9:15 or later so reservations well in advance are recommended. We started with cocktails (& they had a few creations) & had a "Buried in Sand" and a "Holy Mule-" Both excellent! Our server was helpful & made some wonderful suggestions once she found out it was our first visit. All the dishes (small & large) are great for sharing. As it seemed a staple of the menu (that changes daily) as well one of their specialties we decided to start with the Bastard Planka. A nice variety of house cured ham, salami, chorizo, pate & pickles-one of the best I've ever had. Also ordered the Klemmings Oysters as our second starter. So fresh, salty & exquisite! For main we ordered the Cod & the Munka Pork (as Pork is their specialty). Cod was cooked to perfection and the Pork had a crust that took it to another level. Both dishes were amazing! We finished with the Pistachio Ice Cream and Paris -Brest. Loved them both but the Paris-Brest is a must try! My only regret is not getting here sooner. Wonderful vibe with great service! They also have a bar area (open kitchen) where you can grab a seat to try some of the entrees or just have a cocktail, beer or glass of wine if they are fully booked. Will definitely be back. Michelin rating well deserved!
