The industry norm for ratings seems to be up to 5 stars, the people at Master Mechanic Matheson deserve at least double that, and it is my opinion that their name says it all "MASTER MECHANIC' as these folks have done the "almost impossible". How many of us over the past have had a vehicle they wish they had never sold! As an occasional collector of unique automobiles, I have a favourite, and this one I have never sold. Purchased new with some added horsepower by the folks at Nascar, my pride and joy is a 1996 Lincoln MK VIII LSC. While this vehicle is relatively low miliage, at 27 years old, parts are failing more due to age than wear and tear. Time for a fairly substantial overhaul, a complete vehicle inspection was performed, and identified 11 problem areas each supported by a detailed description and supporting pictures. A work order was then supplied with cost estimates for each repair/replacement. Parts, however, are extremely hard to find as there are apparently only 12 of these vehicles still registered, difficult to source parts (some of which took days to find, and could only be found in the USA) were obtained by Kirk the (Service Advisor), and installed by Edward, Rashidul, and possibly other Technicians. These parts included a Power Steering Rack and Pump with various hoses, A/C Compressor and associated hoses, front upper Ball Joint, Sway Bar Link, wiring for rear tail lights, and for safety sake, and not available as parts, new steel brake lines (and transmission lines) were hand crafted and installed by the Technicians, completely replacing the old lines. I can't express how impressed I am as these folks have worked wonders, and everyone there deserves a personal thank you for the courteous, professional and efficient service they have provided. She was told there was no storage fee for the first time as part of a new customer promotion. She then went back in April 2025 for her swap and to re-store her tires. They charged her the storage fee ($100). Now we have moved, and she wants to get her tires out. We call and they say it will be $100. We ask why, and they said because when she paid in April was for her previous storage (Nov 2024-April 2025) and not for her most recently storage (April 2025-present). She said that can't be true because her first time storage (Nov 2024-April 2025) was free, so what she paid in April would have to be for her current storage. They said they never even did a new customer promotion like that. They then transferred her between three callers, all of them berating her and calling her difficult, and then they started saying "Go get your lawyer. Do you just not have $100? Do you need a donation?" They then told her to not show up without the money or she isn't getting her tires.

The undercoating was done in a sloppy manner and sprayed plastics such as the tops of the shock towers and the battery instead of just the posts but seemed to get all the areas but I'm just guessing as they don't provide you with any information about the service. At least they didn't fog the windshield and get too much on the engine. The thing that earned the one star is a scamkanic came out with a wad of fresh gray grease saying one of my ball joints leaked it out. I had to stifle myself as the vehicle was fairly new and had low miles, ball joints don't have that much grease in them and if it was coming out it would partially dirty from being exposed and last but not least the ball joints are sealed. I feel bad for any honest employees there that don't want to work in a place that lacks integrity, been there done that but at a much larger scale. I take my vehicles to the dealer and use OEM parts so the trick would never have worked.
