I had a great massage until I paid for my services. The women Jenny charged my card 3x as she was yelling at me in front of the register my card does not work. I took a screenshot of the charges on my card from my bank account below. She made me walk across the other side of the mall because my card was not working and charged me again. The material was so hard that hurt my eyelid. it caused inflammation. I called the owner to provide genuine feedback and caution. She wouldn't even listen. I woke up and felt extremely sore like a pinched neck running down my back . My daughter wanted me to take her to the mall so I did take her and as I was wandering around feeling miserable I looked up and saw Jenny's Spa and figured to give it a try. I got a 30 minute massage which felt totally incredible!! The gentleman loosened up my back and shoulders and gave me an all over body massage even using some hot stones! I hadn't had a massage in 17 years and after and the next day I felt incredible and actually thinner as I think it really got my blood circulating ! I doubt I'll patronize Jenny's Spa at the Danbury Fair Mall again. When I went in a woman asked me how long of a massage I wanted, and I replied "I don't know, twenty minutes? Thirty minutes?" They never asked me to clarify, a man just massaged me for 30 minutes. OK, I didn't make it clear but the professional thing to do would have been to ask me. But not a big deal. The masseuse was friendly enough. When I went to pay I asked the woman to put a $5 tip on my credit card (between 15% and 20 %). She and the masseuse seemed grumpy and talked to each other in a language I didn't understand. Then she said, "$10 tip?" I said "No, a $5 tip". More talking in another language. Then I pointed out that they'd only charged me for a 20 minute massage, not a 30 minute one. The cashier put another charge onto my card, but they were still acting unfriendly, almost hostile to me. I twice smiled at the masseuse but he refused to smile back, as if to make sure I knew he was angry I didn't agree to give him the $10 tip they requested. I went three weeks ago and asked for mink C curl lashes. My lashes are still on. Just came back from Florida vacation where I swam every day and took showers daily as well. I have been doing my lashes in New York City (spending double what these people charge) and I've never had an experience like this. Absolutely amazing! read more

Made an appt over the phone even notifying them i was using a Goupon. On arrival they claimed i was at the wrong place (picture of storefront on groupon). Claimed they didnt speak english. Claimed closed. Claimed they didn't offer that service anymore (i asked and they said i could pay cash for service). Said they cancelled Groupon and groupon was issuing refunds (groupon said i had not been issued a refund). Spoke to several employees. Would not give service i paid for. I had 35 mins massage from David. It was so painful and rough massage ever I have. Inspite of telling him go easy. I dont even think he knew what he was doing. My neck still having uncomfortable feeling. My upper arms skin still sore. He made it worse. I had to apply ice pack and take pain killer in the night. They constantly pestering you for more time. Went to go get an hour long massage with my husband tonight, a treat for his birthday! We went to JENNY'S SPA on the first level in the Danbury Fair mall. We have been several times before and never had problems. I LOVE deep massages. This is the first time I have EVER told someone it was too hard. I told her at least 4 times it was too hard, she even put my back into spasm! She also took 2 phone calls while massaging me. The first one sounded like a business call and was over in less than a minute, no big deal. But the second call lasted at least 15 minutes and was definitely a personal call. All the while she was barely rubbing one shoulder or the other. When we were done I paid and gave a tip on the total (it was about 8%). I don't normally tip that low but I also usually get full service with people who listen. The lady taking my payment started SCREAMING at me telling me I HAD to tip 20% or more. If she had been nicer i might have budged but I WILL NOT be screamed at. She argued with me for 5 minutes and would not run my credit card - Finally I told her either it's that or no tip your choice. She finally ran my credit card and told me next time if I don't leave a 20% tip next time then I can't get a massage!!!!! Seriously????? Since when is tipping automatic??? If you want a bigger tip maybe you should listen when I tell you it's too hard and my back is in spasm- or maybe you should take your personal calls on your own time!!!! read more

Not very private, atmosphere is a bit odd. Worked too much on boney areas, was sore the next day. They talked to each other the entire 30 min. My sister's masseuse did not wash her hands before starting. It is right in front of loud table games, like foozball, and shuffleboard. Would not go again. read more

I stopped in the spa 12-5-2017 saw sign reflexology .Upon greeting English not their language however I pointed to flyer for reflexology. Feet put in tepid water then female started to rub my feet .She put lotion on and rubbed legs then feet again at no time did she do reflexology .After she did my left leg a man came over said hello and then he proceeded to rub my right leg and foot .At no time did he do reflexology .For those who do not know reflexology is working the pressure point on bottom of whole foot .It is not a massage of the feet. The two people who worked on my feet had no idea what reflexology is. The language barrier left me no point to say anything as it was obvious I would be wasting my time however when I got to the cash register the language became much clearer when she had my credit card kept asking if I wanted to put tip on. l do not put tips on credit card to water/ persons as they prefer cash . But she kept repeating tip tip tip . Hope people know when they see sign for reflexology at the Danbury Ct Mall they may pay but not get it . read more

I got my eyelashes done for the first time. If you are looking for a natural look, you will be pleased. But for me personally, I am not. The length and shape are great but they are not thick. Maybe if I could apply heavy coats of mascara to them I would feel differently, but I do not want to run the risk of ruining them. I wish she asked me what I wanted before applying them. She did not talk to me at all. Another disappointing factor is that you can not tell in pictures that I have them done, that's how faint they are. Only in person are they recognizable. And one side is noticeably thicker than the other. I would love to try out eyelash extensions at another place. I am very disappointed and underwhelmed. read more

Made an appointment for eyelash extensions two weeks in advance. The woman asked if I had a Groupon and I confirmed that I did. I showed up to my appointment and they refused to honor the voucher and did not acknowledge that I had made an appointment. I spent 15 minutes trying to understand why and she claimed the business closed their Groupon account but I could pay cash for the service, which I refuted. Both the woman at the 'spa' and proprietor with whom I spoke over the phone were unbelievably rude. Just grateful that I didn't actually receive the service. read more
