The location is very convenient for people but the customer service is lacking, especially when you first enter. The tech made 3 toes bleed from pulling in the skin. I saw two other techs yell at each other and one telling the other you're a racist. The bathroom was actually nice. The mani was really good. The pedicure, though thorough left my toes bleeding, the cleanliness to the place in general, and the cleanness of the tools used on you, left much to be desired of well named location. This is my first visit to Jenny's Nail Spa. I live in the Bx and was taken by all the publicity and hype surrounding this salon because its Cardi B's favorite place. I personally do not wear acrylics, extensions or gel ect. In the past I have and for years. So when my sister came out for a visit and wanted to get her nails done this is the first place I thought of. Since her and i have birthdays close together I thought I would treat her as well as myself to some self care and get or nails done. Like I said early I do not prefer to get any enhancements done on my nails so I opted for a basic manicure. My sister wanted just a full set of short almond shaped acrylic nails with regular nail polish. No stones or designs. Aesthetics (Visual Presentation) When you first walk in it looks nice. Although your walking up a huge flight of stairs in a very narrow hall way to get to the actual business. Which is on the second floor. As soon as you walk in you immediately can tell the salon looks to be 80% completely done as far as remodeling. The furniture and all out decor seem to be in good taste. Plus the use of space and desk positioning is very business savvy. Cleanliness So as far as cleanliness and organization this place gets 3 stars. Although this place was visually pleasing there was dust debris from acrylic filing all over the place. On the chairs, desks everywhere. As for organization they had all the nail polishes disorganized the counters behind the work desks where filled with junk and supplies with dust on them. I had no choice but to use the restroom and even that is not well cleaned or stocked. All there nail equipment is old dirty and dingy. There nail polishes is old and disgusting. Service Where do I begin. As I was walking in with my sister there was also a woman with her daughter who had arrived at the same time we did. We all accordingly signed our names on the pad with the according sevice we wanted done to our nails. The seating and desks are positioned where all the workers are facing the entrance to the establishment. So as we walked in we hear a loud Spanish woman yelling to another woman "clients we have clients". A young woman comes up to us and starts asking us what we want done and we let her know. So now she communicates by yelling out to the workers who are not busy directing them to which client they will be taking. As I am paired with my nail tech I immediately noticed how uninpressed she is with her job. I personally dont like to feel like I'm another "client". There is no passion for what the workers do for the client. All the workers where either talking, or on the phone. The nail techs all talk, act and dress ghetto. No professionalism whatsoever. When I let the tech know i wanted a basic manicure she acted like she didn't know what I was talking about. She brought me to any desk available. It was all disorganized and she continued to get up and look for supplies for a manicure. Once the manicure was done she asks me to pick a polish and tells me "the colored bottles are regular polish". Out of hundreds or polishes they offer only 10% where available for me to choose from, the rest where gel polish. All at the same time dragging her self about like she hated her job. As far as the quality of my manicure, it's ok I guess. It's the service that doesn't live up to the expectation of a well popularized establishment that's getting so much recognition. On top of that all the woman there mostly speak Spanish so there is a language barrier with the clients. As for my sisters experience basically it's the same except for since she got a full set her nail tech didnt even bother to follow what my sister wanted done on her nails and just started using all the supplies to jack up the price on her set. My sister wanted a full set short almond nails with regular polish that should've cost $35 at the most and the lady didnt understand what she wanted and gave her colored acrylic and gel polish which came up to $50. What can you say about perfection? That it was a beautiful experience and I would highly recommend. But that's not enough for this amazing and world-class artist hosting the most beautiful nail designs in the world. As I arrived at the spa to see Jenny, The beloved and world-famous iconic nail Guru, I was nicely greeted and immediately welcomed by her wam staff. Jenny immediately made me feel welcomed when I met her and I was offered a host of comfort including nice cold water which is truly a gift because this level of a elite customer service does not go unnoticed. My service was excellent! I left there with fierce, nude color talons that were absolutely sexy and sparkly. I can't wait to try many other designs with her and have her just go nuts. Prior to this, I've had my nails done by many other great people but this was a world class Guru going here thing and helping me Get brand new, up-to-date styles and some very sweet nails. I can't say enough about this place. It looks clean, very organized and extremely personable. Be prepared to be absolutely loved from the beginning. I was offered many nice treatments and I will take them up on a few when by I return. Jenny's entire family is extremely sweet. I was fortunate enough to be there when I was able to meet several very friendly family members and they are equally as loving and kind. In today's world, it's very hard to find a nail guru who has this level of customer service. My recommendation is definitely five stars and I would gladly steer you in the direction of the salon for all of your sexy, beautiful long nail needs. Decided to come into this nail salon because I thought I'd receive superior service. But I was totally wrong. The nail techs I met were Spanish, very friendly, and we carried conversations very well. However, after having a pedicure I was left with an infection on my toe nail which is now filled with blood and pus. I did observe that the nail tech did not at any point sanitize any of the instruments used. Once the girl finished using the cuticle cutter she simply placed it back in her drawer as if it were clean. Not to mention they also RE-USE all pumice stones for all pedicures. Never have I been to a place where they rejected my service all because "they didn't feel like doing it" "it's too much work". I went to get a fill in, cut down and nail replaced however I instead chose to remove the set I had on my hand and just get a brand new one. Let me start by saying Jenny's was my favorite spot when Nuny was working there. After she left, I started going to Ana (whom I love and would never want to tarnish her work) however, the quality of acrylics and polish that Jenny promotes is a DISGRACE. I have never dealt with fungus, constant nails lifting and the ridiculous prices that this establishment charges. I've been going to Jenny's for about a year and usually get my fillings every 3-4 weeks unless I see my nails lifting and go ASAP because I don't want water getting into my nails which leads to fungus. I recently went to another location after getting a mediocre acrylic set done (mind you I pay around $75-90 just for my nails and $35 for my pedicure) and they discovered that I had FUNGUS ON 5 OF MY NAILS!!!!!!! And 3 of my nails had a SPLIT NAIL in the middle!!!!! I was shocked because I've paid a lot of money over a year consistently to find that the quality doesn't even measure up! I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO JENNYS..... And I'm sorry, but I love and adore Cardi, but using her to promote this business where the quality of work and poor acrylics will put your health in jeopardy is a DISGRACE!!!! I went to Jenny nail salon with such high hope because Cardi b promotes her soooo much. My friend who knew Jenny salon way be before cardi b got famous said it was a ghetto and mixy nail salon but I simply don't care if it's ghetto and mixy as long as the price is fair and the service is good and clean. I went to the nail salon 3 times the first two times the service was excellent I loved my nails. I constantly received complements then I tried making an appointment with the nail tech I been going to. She was full but I came at my regular time anyways hoping to find some one. I found someone but she did not understand English therefore could not understand what I wanted. The nails were so chunking and bulky I really hated them and I payed 10more than what I would've payed from my previous nail tech. Idk if they have different pricing or she was trying to just take my money. I got them removed literally two days later to find out I had a fungus underneath the acrylic. I'm not one to bash companies I had such a terrible experience I had to speak out. I've never had such horrific customer service in my days. I sat in this Young lady's work station (Spanish brown skinned young lady with medium length hair pulled back in a ponytail) as I'm waiting she's literally putting gel on her orange tip nails and setting her rhinestones as I'm sitting awkwardly with bare feet waiting to be serviced. After she finishes her nails she asks me what u want very rude. Nude polish please. She's says no and looks at my tips. White? No I want nude. She grabs a polish and says this? I'm like okay. Then she starts scrubbing my feet until it's practically raw. I'm now limping around in pain. She paints my nails with regular polish even though I clearly walked in with boots on. After I noticed I asked can I get a gel top coat and offered to pay the gel pedi price. She says no And doesn't offer to repaint with gel polish. She literally wraps a paper towel and twists it on top where it's slowly unraveling around my feet as a replacement for flip flops and walks me to the dryer. Like who does that? Disgusted with the service for pedicures. The nail techs doing manicures seem to be on point. The pedicure area not so much. If Jenny is trying to promote her brand and affiliation with Cardi B please remove weak links that tarnish your brand I don't recommend getting a pedicure here. read more

So, I looked at Jenny's work and decided to drive almost an hour to her salon. In doing so, Jenny was so nice, friendly, and attentive to my needs and design concept. I said fall colors and design and she exceeded my expectations. They sure take time on acrylic nails but we all know that's a process and totally worth it! The Dominican ladies are really talented the only thing is that they talk so much lol! I been going there for 2 months the first time i went the young lady that did my nails did a excellent job. when i went back to get a fill-in the young lady i first went to no longer works there. So i had to go to someone else who barely spoke English and didn't do the shape of my nails like i ask her to do. I like the quality of there products it lasts a long time but they do not have a lot of gel colors. Also most of the women there don't understand English. and it become very frustrating trying to explain to them what you want. Also they can clean up the place.
