He was out of stock on the yarn I was looking for, but recommended a comparable yarn that I actually ended up being much happier with! I also bought some lovely hand-dyed sock yarn from him. I mentioned I might want to use it along with another color to make some striped socks, and he told me to email him when I decided, and he'd dye another batch specially for me if I wanted! While he was winding my yarn into a ball, I mentioned that I had a busted swift at home, which was why I wasn't winding my own. He gave me some tips on how to fix it and even gave me some scraps of silk yarn for free to bring home to use for the repair! That's service. (The repair went fabulously, by the way.) I found the selection to be lovely for a small shop, and although you may not find exactly what you need, it seems the owners really care about their business and will go great lengths to make you a satisfied customer. I will be back as soon as I have some pennies saved up and some projects finished!
