I was drawn to Northern Medical Center because of its dual approach to health and thought there would be a good chance of being understood and treated without judgment. I was very nervous, but it didn't take long for me to feel comfortable. I was treated compassionately by the medical assistants as well as PA Rose Chasin. She was thorough in her approach and spent a lot of time getting to know me and my history - as did the assistant responsible for the initial intake. It feels good to say I have a primary care provider after all these years. We will see what the blood work reveals and then discuss a plan of action, with Northern Medical's onsite physical therapy, acupuncture and hyperbaric therapy as potential options. Now they keep changing the name of the facility and when I went there back in March before i found of all this information Dr Lambert was sending dates of services that I didnt get therapy for. He apologized and was going to fix the issue but it was not just me it was other patients as well. We would all talk because first of all the wait time its about 1-3 hours long. Receptionist are very nice but doctors seem to not care about their patients at all they insist to get all this things like EMGs that are not necessary and injections just to get paid. Dr Chi is a scam I went to complaint to him of pain i was having and he was just like oh okay do therapy thats it. Unbelievable. I was there for 6 months and everytime i went it it was the same thing do therapy. They also have a manager there he's dominican has a strong accent Abel that he treats everyone badly, telling the front desk ALL the time put this patient for this and that to get procedures when the doctor hasnt even consult with us. He's not the doctor!!!! I was getting phone calls from surgical centers i have procedures the next day when I wasnt even told about it. If you can avoid going there DO! They used to be next to Big Lots in Middletown Route 211 now I heard they moved Across Adams by Catskill Bank in Middletown NY. They are a fraud and will over charge your insurance.
