Received excellent coordination from CPT with my surgeon prior to services. Initial contact with CPT, was exceptional, with clear explanation of what to expect in form of a personal plan of therapy(verbal, , written and online via app), a highly supportive, welcoming environment, easy to follow home exercises to support in office visits, great interactions with staff (fun, professional and supportive), regular feedback on progress, and adjustments of therapy with focus on results. And would you believe that physical therapy could actually be fun? it sure was, the staff were always pleasant, truly cared about progress and worked hard making that happen. Made solid improvement. I didn't realize how damaged it was until she got into massaging the area, which has been extremely painful, but I have noticed improvement. I was at 50% strength in my left hand to my right. My Neurosurgeon specifically wrote no lumbar or core PT on the order, and this was discussed with Matthew during my evaluation, so he gave me things to do at home to help my foot strength. A few days later during my 1st PT session with Matthew, he had me do core work, which was not the plan and was not approved by my doctor. Then about halfway through my appt. Daniel (who never introduced himself) came over and asked me to do more core work which I refused to do since my surgery was only 9 days ago at the time. He then had me put a tension band around my knees and asked me to do side steps. I asked, "how is this helping my drop foot" and Daniel asked me if I had hip surgery. This kid literally didn't even know why I was there and what type of surgery I had or what my issues were. To me that is very irresponsible for a physical therapist to be advising a patient when they don't even know what the issues are. Advocate for your health !!! I was contacted by Matthew to discuss my issues after he read this review and was told Daniel isn't even a licensed physical therapist.

But what makes me angry and embarrassed is that one of the assistants inside has an extremely bad attitude! She is rude and uncommunicative !! When I politely asked her to fill out the FMLA form (my brother's work leave application for taking care of me), she said "No! Absolutely not!" with the attitude of a supreme commander, interrupted my request directly, and shouted and ordered me to listen to her ! I didn't even have a chance to explain! OMG! I have never seen such a rude and rude person! Excuse me, let me be frank: she is simply a hooligan ! Medical institutions are places to care for and help patients recover.
