She was so considerate of my tooth sensitivity and went out of her way to not hurt me while cleaning and polishing! She was so gentle and polite! After 40 years with one dentist my wife and I were given the news he was retiring. So we began our search for a new dentist. I needed a crown due to me breaking a molar. Dr. Fineberg and all of the staff were OUTSTANDING! I got the tooth prepped and a temporary was in place before I knew it. The novocaine shots were the hardest part of the experience. When the permanent crown was at the office it took less than an hour to get it in place. This is such a wonderful dental practice. I love everything about going here. The location is clean and well managed. The pride pride they take in their work is clear from the moment you walk in. They are nestled in a nice little stripmall with a Sprouts. The staff is top notch. My experience started with talking to Lori to setup my initial appointment. She was a delight and very knowledgeable. I feel like she predicted my questions and my appointment was set. The day of my appointment was perfect. I didn't have to wait and met Dr Fineberg right away. The examination felt transparent and she answered my questions well. By this point my nerves were gone. Dr Fineberg is no joke. Rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend this dentist. We tried to make an appointment as first time patient. Each encounter my husband had was negative, almost as if they resented new patients. I called for the first time, spoke to the receptionist for 1 minute (was the work pre-approved?) , was transferred to the dentist without explanation. She immediately accused me of "always " being rude to the staff. I've never been in the office, first time I've called, got the impression patients should not dare ask what the procedure would be costing them. Horrible experience, not professional or friendly. Have an infection in my mouth that is causing acid in saliva and dripping down esophagus, it's called periodontitis. Already been confirmed by another Dentist. She missed the whole infection in mouth. Although confirmed I had problems with every tooth and gums. Very misinformed I think it's been awhile since she has been in school. Never going to a private office ever again. Not only was she experience rude and unqualified but so were her helpers. Very upset about this experience. Really do not recommend this Dentist as she need not see the problem clear at hand. Only wanted me to pay to remove my wisdom teeth because she saw an infection. Dr Fineberg is an amazing dentist. I have been coming here for a little over 4 months and I am a huge fan. The office is neat and welcoming. The location is great and it's clear they take pride in staying clean top to bottom (which is what I would expect out of my dentist anyway). The staff is out of this world good. They are friendly, welcoming, and most importantly adept. Every time I visit it feels like I am visiting friends. Dr Fineberg is no joke, people. She knows not only how to be a dentist but she knows how to work with people. On multiple occasions she has impressed me with her solution oriented style of thinking. The entire staff is courteous and professional and through the years they have become more like friends. My husband and I have watch their kids be born, and some of them grow up and off to college. Jenni, one of the hygienists, always does an excellent job and I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Fineberg. It has been my and my husband's experience that lots of dentists are arrogant, but not Dr. Fineberg. She is gentle and will tell you if she thinks you need to be referred to a specialist. We had previously had a terrible experience with a dentist who messed my husband's teeth up terribly. If was so bad my husband had to have multiple surgeries and dental implants and was over a year long process with lots of pain. Dr. Fineberg was the person who discovered the problem. I've been bringing my three children to her since they were young as they are very gentle, but mostly because the rapport they have with kids is genuine and comforting. Dr Fineberg saw me and three of my children. Two of my kids needed fillings. I opted to have old fillings removed and replaced because I would assured it was fairly simple and my tooth structure wouldn't be altered. Dr Fineberg was fast with the drill and ended up removing the back wall of my tooth without telling me. The assistant showed me after she left the room because I asked why my tooth felt the way it did. When I got home, my kids (ages 20 and 17) said that they weren't comfortable with the work done in their mouths either. Weeks later, we all have occasional "zaps" at the locations she did the work. None of us had that prior to the work being done. It is like she permanently effected the nerves of our teeth on very shallow (or non-existent, in my case) cavities. I called to cancel all future appointments. The front office didn't seem surprised (or at least didn't seem to care). I never received a call from the dentist to acknowledge what happened. I am taking my son to his previous pediatric dentist and pay out of pocket to see if he can fix what has been damaged and finish the dentistry needed. I am going to personally finish care with another dentist on my plan. On a brighter note, the hygienist who cleaned our teeth (the dentist's sister) was exceptional. She respected our wishes, talked about what she was doing and why and did a great job at cleaning our teeth. She was the reason we went back after the first visit. read more
