I went her clinic almost every week to every two weeks when I was doing Masters of Public Health, and she served me like as my primary care physician. She is kind and open to any kind of conversation, so I was able to discuss my pain, numbness, insomnia, stress, fibroid uterus, nasal polyp, eye strain, etc - all holistic health problems. Also she counsels also for my life situations- so that I was able to discuss my problems around me, like mice in the house, loss of place to stay, etc and she gave me practical advice. So It was very supportive for me to have her to go through my semester. About her treatment, just an example, I had severe menstral pain due to fibroid, yet taking her needles for one or two times before menstration along with my own internal medication almost cleared the pain. She also took insurance for Brown student, which was extremely helpful. Also she has student discount. The masseur was so intense it was actually hurting me. He did not check in once to ask if the pressure was okay I was jumping around the table because the pressure was so hard. He was dry rubbing me it was not relaxing at all. At one point he left the door open while people were in the parlor and I was in my underwear I had to look up so he would shut the door. Also, I never got my foot massage. I still tipped over 20 % but i probably wouldn't return unless a manager reached out and offered me another massage with a different masseur. Also, the people waiting were so loud and no one asked them to lower the voices. They literally were talking the whole time loudly until they man and woman went into their appointment and then were quiet. It was just over all bad experience.

Dr. Liu is gentle and explains where he's placing the needles as he goes. Part of acupuncture treatment includes the doctor leaving the office after the needles are placed for about fifteen minutes. I think that information is helpful-especially if it's your first treatment. I've actually fallen sleep during this short period of time! Availability trends between 10 -4 and each treatment is about an 45 mins to an hour start to finish. There are Saturday appointments available, however, and that's what I've been taking advantage of. I started with Dr. Sarah and after she transferred to Florida, I wasn't sure whether I would stay or try a new Acupuncturist. Dr. Mary ensured me that I should give Dr. Dan a chance. I'm happy she did and I accepted. From a range of the following ailments: achy knees, non-stop burning feet, intestinal & digestive system issues, severe allergies, sinus infections, joint pain to name a few, since consistently visiting EEA at least twice months, I have continued to feel much better and there is nothing that will stop me from returning to EEA. Dr. Dan is patient, understanding, attentive, and gives me his undivided attention, keenly listening to a long list of ailments & others, and immediately gets on board to address every one of them within the few minutes of therapy session allowed. He perfectly completes his work, and I walk out of the office ready to face the business ahead of me etc., until my next session. This is the best Acupuncture center in the state and, in my opinion, in the whole world. Thank you, Dr. Dan T., Rachel, Katie, Mary and the massage therapist.
