We stopped by the Nurture Cottage when we were walking on Coast Village Road one morning last month and my husband wrangled the toddler while I browsed the store, ready to hand over our money. The place was super cute, a sweet little building with a barn door and enticing display windows. I asked the cashier, who I think was the owner, where I might find 24-month clothes for boys and she directed me to the right areas. I ended up getting Angel Dear bear print pajamas and a set of Sol Angeles sweatshirt and joggers. Check-out was easy and fast and the woman helping me was friendly. Both the pajamas and the sweats are in heavy rotation on the baby, and I liked the Sol Angeles set so much that I bought an identical one for myself (I wear it for days at a time). We look very cute in our matching outfits--he looks extremely cute and I look like a grown woman in sweats, but it averages out. I'll probably be back to Nurture Cottage next time I'm in Montecito, and I expect to find more nice clothes to dress my little model of a boy.

This store is phenomenal. I visited with a group of mamas from L.A. and we were blown away from how…read morenicely curated the selection was. Clothing, accessories, books, toys, and an incredible collection of dollhouse accessories. The team went above and beyond to show us everything they had (they have a second location in the back with more dollhouse stuff). Prices were very reasonable and it didn't feel like we were being gouged just because it was downtown Montecito. And then when we found out that the proceeds actually go towards a nonprofit foundation, we wanted to simply buy everything. God bless these wonderful ladies for everything they do!

Next time ask me to help you, *giant sigh* thaaaanks *eye roll*" - I will never come back in this store, how incredibly insulting. If this lady wants to sell anything, she should probably try to be a little more friendly. She should also perhaps be a little more realistic about pricing. Lastly, if you are horrified at customers looking at your merchandise, perhaps put them in an glass case where you can stare at them without touching. Good luck staying afloat in this economy. I'll never be back. And I was going to buy that purse, too!

WARNING: THEY SELL FAKE STUFF!!!!!…read more I came into the store 2 years ago and I was facetiming my mom and we fell in love with this brown "mini city Balenciaga" bag. Sepi is located in the heart of Montecito a very nice and luxurious area so you don't question if something is real or not and mind you they guarantee everything is real, you also shouldn't have to when shopping at a consignment store. This location is perfect for their target customer who won't question if something is real or not. We purchase the bag for around $1100 and they ship it to my moms house located in Las Vegas. The woman working also guaranteed it was real and they said that the tags are attached, etc... the tags are also fake!!! When my mom received the bag she knew immediately it was fake due to the leather, quality, smell, etc... We also went to a pawn shop and they told us it was fake as well. I know I should have been more alert but the bag was super cute and Iooked real and I guess my excitement got the best of me. My mom tried to get a hold of the owners but they still claimed it was real and wouldn't return our money back even after all the evidence. We also don't live in the area so making a trip out there was not worth it. My mom also could have chose to sue them but we decided not to. Do not shop at this place because they sell fake stuff and claim it's real and won't return your money back! If I could give this place -20 stars I would. Customer service sucks due to the fact they won't give your money back even after claiming what they are selling is real AND for making it seem like they sell real stuff. Product also sucks because it's FAKE. This place is a scam.
