Buyer beware! Company tries to cut corners, charge extra for things that are their own fault and generally take advantage of the consumer.

After nearly being charged twice for something I had already paid for, I asked to speak with a manager and was given the runaround for days. When I finally reached Mr. Biles, his tone was dismissive and condescending, and follow-through never happened. I also experienced an uncomfortable and unprofessional phone call with Rachel, where she appeared to be speaking about me in the background while calling me. When this was raised, I was given conflicting explanations that did not align with any written documentation, which only added to the frustration. Toward the end of the project, Sal confirmed a missing toe kick under the dishwasher and assured me it would be handled. I paid for it, but it was never installed. Multiple texts and calls to Sal went unanswered for weeks. When I finally reached the office again, I requested a refund instead of installation because I no longer wanted the company in my home. Even that request was delayed. The only positive experience was Brian, the contractor who rebuilt our kitchen. He was professional, kind, detail-oriented, and clearly took pride in his work. Unfortunately, his level of professionalism was not reflected elsewhere in the organization. As someone who leads people for a living, I believe that the customer experience matters. That did not feel like a priority here. Proceed with caution if you value communication, accountability, and respect.

In action, lies, no communication, lies, laziness, mismanagement. Did I mention lies, ghosting, and lack of communication? I lost everything a year and a half ago. We called 911 restoration after we did our own inspection of the area and figured out it was a pipe that had been leaking for some time. They came and agreed with everything we saw and worked appropriately for the size of the issue. First, they put a dehumidifier in the area to start to dry out the area that was wet and waited 2-3 days until our plumber came out to fix the pipe. Turned out to be a bigger project (no one's fault at 911) and the pipe was fixed in just a few days. The guys came in the next day and did what needed to be done and worked really well!! Loved the crew working, LOVED the supervisor Ed, and loved working with all the receptionists. The company was transparent about everything that needed to be done, explained every aspect along the way, and really was a pleasure to work with. Easy to get in touch with, someone had a phone on them 24/7 and just really really a great company. The only reason they get 4 stars, which is a stretch in my opinion, is that they do not fix what is taken out. We had a 1ft. By 1ft. Square taken out of the drywall above our laundry room and they do not fix that. We have to contact a independent contractor to have that fixed but for our insurance, that will also be covered under the water damage claim. Here's another thing that I think costumers should know but is not dependent as a company fault. MOLD CLEANING IS STUPID EXPENSIVE!!!! Do not go attacking the company and complaining about pricing, they are just doing their job and earning a living as well as paying for the price of the chemicals and equipment used. However, just a really tiny mold issue that we had (literally the size of a textbook) cost us 1k out of pocket and over 3k through insurance...BUT that would never change my opinion of the company. Seriously cannot say enough good things about every employee that I talked to.

He discovered that it had been leaking into the subfloor in my bathroom and kitchen for a few months. The subflooring is essentially strong and there are no cracks or fissures. The Servpro rep wanted to tear out my kitchen base cabinets and flooring in order to dry the wood. He told me that someone else would need to replace them. That was alarming as I can have a renovation done that covers all the work: demolition and reconstruction. I borrowed my friend's oscillating fan and the floor in my bathroom appears to be drying very well. I also believe that I was being rushed into making a decision. That's not how I do business.

The third one was great but too little, too late. They came immediately when called after we discovered water leak and tore out all bottom cabinets and large kitchen island which were discarded. We were assured that insurance company was required to "put us back like original." Unfortunately they don't know Virginia law which does not require insurance to match cabinets or flooring. They lost a $24,000 job because office staff refused to look for $300 duplicate item on the estimate. Hired another company who did a wonderful job and it was done within 2 weeks. They replaced ALL the cabinets and we got a new kitchen for what Servpro quoted for bottom cabinets only. Living without a kitchen from November through March was miserable. Huge mistake calling these people.

They came before the end of the day on a Friday. So far so good. The field reps told us the price would be $7000 to do the work then given it'd be after hours and $4500-$5000 to do it on Monday. My wife and another person heard the field rep say this at least twice. We decided to wait until Monday to save the money for the owner of the house. When I called Monday we were told it'd be $7000. I asked David who is the estimator why they weren't honoring the lower price of $4500-5000. He told me it was because that's what the paperwork said. He said he couldn't do anything about it so I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told there wasn't anyone but him. I asked to speak to an owner he said he'd leave a message and ask the owner to call. The owner didn't call so I got his # and called him. His name is Dennis. He said he appreciated the information and expressed disappointment with his internal team at not advising him, he said he'd look into it and get back to me. He didn't call back so I sent him a text 2 days later and received a callback saying he had a family issue. Rather than address the pricing double speak his vm said the final bill may be less than $7000. After the cleanup work was done which took 4-5 hours with 2 men who left 15 fans for 3 days we were told an estimator would call to schedule an appointment to do the carpet, laminate and baseboard repair. After not hearing from them I called and was told by David that no one could do the work for 3-4 months. I contacted the owner about it and heard crickets. Whether the company is a film flam operation taking advantage of insurance money I don't know it is certainly possible. $7000 to be on site for 4-5 hours and leave 15-20 fans unattended for 3 days seems over the top. The bait and switch on the quotes, the 3-4 month lead-time to do repairs and the flakey behavior by the owner are serious warning signs to stay away.

**Worst Experience Ever! Stay Away!**…read more I can't express enough how terrible my experience with this company was. They engaged in the most deceptive business practices, and I would **never** recommend them to anyone. First off, they required me to pay **50% upfront** before doing any work, insisting on payment through **Cash App** or **Venmo**--which should have been a huge red flag. I trusted them and made the payment, but after that... **radio silence**. I didn't hear from them for a full **three weeks** after handing over the deposit. When I called to check on the status of the job, they didn't even know I had paid the deposit. Daniel had previously told me that they could get the job done within a couple of weeks, but now, **three weeks** had passed with no progress. Finally, after calling again, I was told the earliest they could do the job was almost **five weeks out**--and they already had my deposit. The owner, **Daniel**, came out to give the estimate and made all sorts of promises about how great the job would be. He even assured me he could **hide our electrical wiring**, which **never happened**. Before sending the deposit, I spoke to **Julie** at the office and emailed her a picture of what I wanted done. She confirmed it would be no problem and assured me she'd send the details over to Daniel. Everything seemed set, so I sent the **$2,500 deposit** via **Cash App**--huge mistake. When the crew finally showed up to do the work, **nobody knew anything about the design** I requested. I was told they could do it, but it would cost an **extra $700** because they needed to drive **10 miles** back to their shop to get a different stamp. A **10-mile trip** that would have taken **maybe 30 minutes** round-trip. They refused to work with us or compromise at all, making it clear that if I wanted the job done, I'd have to pay more. There was also NO consideration for the 60 square feet less that was not done. The patio was quoted at 15x16 and what was done was 15x12. The staff and owner was unwilling to do anything to help resolve the issue. As a homeowner, you're left feeling completely **screwed**. They had already taken my **$2,500** through Cash App, and I knew I wasn't getting it back. It's impossible to dispute or get a refund once money is sent that way, and they know it. Do yourself a favor--**avoid this company** at all costs. They have no regard for customer satisfaction and will **take advantage of you** the moment they have your money!!!
