I just wanted to take a moment to offer the highest praise I can for one of the employees, at Jenkins, Chad Grover. Recently, an upstairs toilet valve, stuck open after being flushed and ran all night, flooding our upstairs, main floor and even into our basement, before we discovered the leak the next morning. Several years ago, during a bad storm, we had a large tree fall onto our house, breaking through into an upstairs bedroom. I believe it cracked every piece of sheetrock in my house. When I called USAA, about it, they called Jenkins to take care of everything. They came out the next morning and started working and didn't stop until everything was like new. So, when I called USAA to report the flooding, I assumed they would call you to do the restoration work. I was placed on hold and when they picked up, they had Servpro on the line and they said they would be out to do the water extraction. I just assumed that the reason they called them was because Jenkins did not do water extraction. When they got here, they proceeded to rip everything up, down and out that was wet. Something I didn't expect. I asked the guy if they were going to repair everything and he said they only did water extractions. I called USAA as soon as he informed me of this and told them I wanted Jenkins to be the ones who did the restorations. They contacted them and Chad was assigned to oversee my home repairs. He came out to the house, as soon as all the fans and humidifiers were removed by Servpro. He was very professional and most importantly, polite. He explained everything as he was doing his estimates. As I watched him, I could not believe the amount of details he recorded for each room he entered. His estimates to replace carpet and paint one room, were more detailed than the original blueprints, used to build that room!! We took advantage of the situation and decided to replace our carpet with hardwood floors. Chad worked everything out and provided us with the price differences, which allowed us to get the hardwood floors on our main floor. Every time he came by to check on the progress, he always called first and scheduled his time around ours, sometimes coming out after his normal working hours. I can't say enough nice things about him. This sentiment was echoed by the sub-contractors that came out to do the work in my house. All of them spoke very highly of Chad and said that they "Only work for him." He has assembled a Super Crew of Restorations, because each person that came out to do work in the house, greatly exceeded my expectations. The sheetrock and painting crew even repaired a hole in a wall, they noticed, without a mention of it. It was not part of the damage, but they did it anyway and that impressed me! I can't say enough good things about Chad, his crew and Jenkins, abd should I ever need restoration work done again on or in my home, I will be sure to insist on Jenkins doing the restorations! read more

During our recent water damage we were in need of restoration company and our insurance recommended several companies along with Jenkins Restoration. I did some research and read few reviews and decided to go with Jenkins. I have to say that this is the most professional company I have ever dealt with. Our project manager Mr. D Williams was an amazing help throughout the entire process and thanks to him the whole ordeal was a lot easier. All workers were very professional and repairs were completed to our complete satisfaction. During the initial repairs more water damage was discovered and Mr. Williams took care of the issue promptly and it did not add but few more days to the project completion. He also dealt with our insurance company so I did not have to worry about any additional paperwork etc. Jenkins water remediation team was also professional, courteous and had an amazingly quick response time. I would recommend Jenkins Restoration to anyone who is looking for highly professional company which truly cares about their clients and whos employees perform exceptional work. We truly appreciate the outstanding job performed by Jenkins Company. Thank You! read more

In February of this year (2015) I suffered a devastating fire to my home. Jenkins came along to assist me with securing the home and to help me make contact with my insurance carrier. After deciding to go with Jenkins, they sent a large loss estimator out to work up an estimate and negotiated on my behalf with the insurance carrier. After a settlement was reached, a pre-construction walk through meeting occurred wherein I was introduced to my project manager, Mr. Gary Schembs. After this traumatic incident of my life I had a lot of concerns and questions regarding my house reconstruction and rebuilding. Mr. Gary helped me through the entire process of rebuilding my house. He always answered my phone calls and took my concerns into consideration. My home was the investment of my life and I lost it but it was Jenkins Restorations and its wonderful team led by Mr. Gary who worked very hard for us and delivered a beautiful home to us. Jenkins was a light during my dark time. I'm thankful for how they interceded for me in my time of trouble. They were a pleasure to work with. Attal read more

Although my house is still in the process of restoration and repair from water damage, the services that Jenkins already rendered was amazing especially my mitigation tech Bryce Heider. He was on time which helped w/my work schedule. He explained everything in detail as to what to expect and what needed to be done. He took up my kitchen floor, carpet and some drywall in a quick but professional manner. He placed fans/ventilators in the area to dry the wood and then treat for mold. He was also right on schedule when he came back to pick up the equipment. He was very professional and gave great details about the process. He answered all questions and was easy to access if need be. I look forward to working w/them on completing the repairs and restorations. Highly recommend them. Great staff! read more

My husband and I want to express our sincere gratitude to Jenkins Restorations for rebuilding our home after the fire back in August. We are very pleased with the outcome as Jenkins Restorations did a wonderful job. With the expertise and supervision of Gary Schembs, our home was rebuilt in record time. Gary was always available and receptive to our questions and requests. Promptly responding to us meant a great deal when we were stressing out about the rebuild. Gary always reassured us and told us not to worry, that he would get things done in a timely manner, and he did just that. If we ever have occasion to need Jenkins in the future, we will definitely reach out to Gary. It was a pleasure to work with Gary and his team! read more

In July, our basement was damaged by water from a backed up sump pump, and Jeremy Gaston from Jenkins Restorations helped us every step of the way with restoring our basement to its original condition. We appreciated his patience and attention to detail in explaining the steps of the repair process and keeping in touch with us throughout the repair. He made sure we understood the work being done and provided a realistic (and convenient) timeline for its completion, working around our work and recreational plans. Thanks to Jeremy's professionalism (and his team), and the excellent quality of their work (flooring and paint), we were pleased beyond our expectations with the finished product. We highly recommend Jenkins Restorations. read more

My experience with Jenkins Restorations, specifically Gary Schembs, has been stellar,- after a very disturbing house fire. He went out of his way to assuage the situation I found myself in,- & I never heard the word "no" from him. . .or any of his assembled team! My home was professionally & appropriately upgraded pursuant to the fire in the kitchen, which occurred due to previous shoddy installation of a woodstove. Jenkins is the way to go for peace of mind,- someone in your corner, when even your own insurance company is stonewalling. Should I ever require other construction projects in any state in which I live, Jenkins Restorations will be my first & only call. Thank you, Gary Schembs, you do the name proud! read more

In February we had some extensive water damage in our kitchen and the bedroom in a lower level. USAA chose Jenkins Restoration to solve our problems and Marvin Prudencio was the project manager for this effort. We could not have been more pleased and satisfied with all aspects of the work (water mitigation, new floor/drywall and painting) but also how the project was managed. All our contacts with the employees at Jenkins Restoration were positive and we remain highly impressed with this company. We will go back to them with any future damage repair work. read more

This is my second review of Jenkins. This time I am commending them for following up on their original work. My house is on a lake and occasional high winds take their toll. A portion of their original repair was damaged again. They had some difficulty matching the original work, but took the time to get it right, all covered by their guarantee. Thanks Jenkins Restorations and Chris!!! read more
