Very misleading journals and terrible customer service. I am convinced she pays for the 5 star reviews just as many companies do. Incredibly expensive journals only for them to be so pre filled there isn't much room to journal at all. The prompts aren't even fitting to what I personally need. read more

Very disappointed. Bought 3 of these, each in different colors for my wife and two daughters after our daughter/their sister passed away. I had ordered the books to have her name on to try and help them work through their grief while hopefully being able to focus on some positivity. It took over 6 weeks for delivery. One of the books came without the advertised floral print and none of the books had her name inscribed. When I reached out to see what happened, I was told to return it and pay for shipping, and once received they would refund me. Absolute lack of customer service. Do better! read more

COMPLETE DISASTER & highly unprofessional. Warning: I would hate for anyone else to have to experience this. DO NOT RISK USING THIS BUSINESS FOR ANY IMPORTANT EVENTS. I spent months planning my wedding suite with Jen. We paid a 50% deposit and signed her contract, and 1 day before our entire wedding invitations were due, she e-mailed me that the paper isn't available. When I explained how unprofessional this is and it was an avoidable issue by communicating earlier with the paper supplier, she took zero credibility and told me she was terminating the contract and cancelling our order, leaving us with no wedding invitations for our guests. I had asked Jen many times after approving the order to please make sure this order was ready on time as we had a very tight turn around time with our guests' rsvps. I approved our invitations 7/7/21 and she assured me production was going well about 1.5 weeks after I approved the order (this was clearly a lie because 1-2 days before she was due to deliver everything to me she said she suddenly didn't have paper). This experience is aside from the errors experienced in the proofing process and the poor quality in which the samples were mailed and presented to us. She also tries to charge you for adjustments or small requests. It was a terrible terrible experience for something that should be so joyful. I share this so this experience hopefully doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

Though the invitations Jen Simpson Design did were beautiful, the invitations were delivered later than promised. I would add in an extra cushion of time to accomodate for that. Also, when we tried to send the invitations out, the outer envelopes didn't stick. We had to go to CVS in the middle of the night and buy double-sided tape to tape the outer envelopes shut and then send the invitations out. It was stressful considering we were already sending invitations out later than we'd hoped. read more

I had to postpone my wedding due to COVID-19 and Jen offered to create a digital design for me to send my guests announcing the new date so that I didn't have to have a whole new set of invitations printed (which I had done through another company). She created a beautiful custom digital design (in one day!) specific to my wedding aesthetic and it was perfect. She is clearly skilled in design, her work is beautiful, and her kindness has meant the world to me during a pretty stressful time. I now plan to use her for my future design needs. read more

Jen is an absolute talent and I HIGHLY recommend her. My wedding coordinator connected the two of us and it was the best decision made for our event! She did our save the dates, invitations, wedding day signage, reception menus, table numbers...you name it!!! Jen really has an eye for design and it shows in her work. I was referred to Jen while shopping at a wedding boutique. When I emailed her she responded quickly and had me send in photos of my wedding inspirations, color scheme, and theme. We met up in person, and she brought tons of sample invitations, paper and print options, and ideas based on pictures I sent her. The whole experience made it feel like I was truly designing custom-made invitations that would be unique to my wedding. She offered so many suggestions, she was patient with me as I went back and forth on font and paper choices, and she truly listened to all of the things I wanted in the invite design.
