I know most people judge a dentist on how gentle, attentive and friendly they are, and Dr. O excels in all those areas, but what I really care about is skill. Can he perform a difficult root canal, or build up a broken-off tooth for a crown so it doesn't have to be pulled - that's what I care about. I'm in my 50's and plan on dying with a full set of real teeth! Dr. Ovcharenko is a genius, with the hands of a surgeon. Twice now, I've had crowns that were put on 35 years ago break off, leaving barely any tooth above the gumline. He saved me from having to have an implant both times. I recently moved cross county to the West Coast, and when a dentist there told me I needed to have my tooth pulled, I bought a plane ticket to VA to see if Dr. Ovcharenko could provide any better options. He performed a difficult root canal and set me up so that I can get a new crown instead, saving my tooth and saving me more than enough money (from not having to go to an oral surgeon for an implant) to pay for the plane trip. I can't say that I'll keep flying cross country for every filling and tooth cleaning, but when it comes to the important dental work, there is no one I trust more than Dr. Ovcharenko.

So unprofessional they hung up on me while I was waiting to get called in to an appointment at 11:30am. 15 min of waiting and they said 10 min wait. I call and they hang up. The first time we went there for consultations. They told me the bill was going to be $7000 with 5 teeth removal and two implants. Out of instinct I told them I could not afford that. They never suggested payment plans or any type of help just said I need to pay $7000. So obviously I did not do it. Then I call back later and they say "oh you don't have to pay the whole thing now. It takes 6 months for bone grafts to heal so you only need to pay $2500. Okay, better. They finally agreed to a payment plan which I don't know why they were so reluctant with pandemic going on. Sorry I lost my job and can't foot out $7000. The thing is they never told me this information from the beginning they just let me walk out the door saying I can not pay for it.
