While…read moreI can't speak for every doctor in the practice, I've worked directly with Dr. Rena Vakay, and she's been excellent--professional, thorough, and very attentive. The staff truly makes this office stand out. Tonia at the front desk is incredibly helpful with scheduling and logistics and genuinely tries to make things easy for patients. On the clinical side, I worked closely with Christina, who assisted with my temporary crowns and works closely with Dr. Vakay. What really stood out to me was that after learning I was having surgery (unrelated to dental work), Christina actually reached out afterward to check on how I was doing. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare and says a lot about the people in this office. I also worked with Rose, who was equally careful, precise, and kind. Overall, this is a professional, caring team that clearly goes above and beyond for their patients. I'm very glad I found this office and would absolutely recommend them.

Then on a second occasion the assistant left a temporary over lay on my tooth. Which made me have to go back the next day and miss a few hours of work to have it taken out. 3rd I had another crown put in and had my tooth drilled and grinded down too much to where the new crown fell off 4 times. All 3 times i was charged all 3 times to install it back due to their mistake. And like the other review I saw they have no sympathy for you. I was 4 minutes late due to a rollover car accident ans they shut down the road I was on and they charged me for missing my apt even though I was in the parking lot just parking. I can't predict a road being shut down and me being stuck on a shut down road and having to be re-directed. Then I got sick and due to their COVID rules I decided to be honest and tell them I was sick and yet again got charged because it was 1 day notice and not 48 hours notice. Again sorry I'm not a psychic and didn't know I would get sick the day before my appointment. I shouldn't have said anything and gotten you all sick I guess. They ask if you want fluoride on your teeth but fail to say it's not covered under most of your insurance companies as I had it happen to me and I was stuck with the bill but learned my lesson. and then heard another customer complaining about the same thing. Don't ask if we want it without letting us know it's not covered when you know it's not. This place used to be awesome and turned horrible within the past 2 years. It's a shame they turned money hungry instead of being more towards customer service.

I got my wisdom tooth taken out, regular cleaning, and other procedures done - all SUPER easy and painless. The reason I wanted to give another shout out to TruSmile is because of what happened during my last visit on July 20. I was running super late to make it to my appointment so decided to email Gina telling her my situation, I was going to reschedule (again...) and would pay for the no-show fees since it was my fault and didn't want to waste their time waiting on me. Gina was lightning quick in responding to me and talked to Dr. TruVan to see what they could do in this scenario. Since there was a big enough gap that day, they were able to accommodate with my situation and see me even if it was 40 minutes after my initial appointment time. I was so grateful for their willingness to stick around just to be flexible for me, and I'm sure for other clients as well. When I finally made it to the office, out of breath and all, everyone happily welcomed me and made sure I was okay by offering water and many thoughtful words. Dr. TruVan got my procedure done and I was in and out within an hour or so. A day later, Gina emailed to check-in on me to make sure the healing of my post-op was going okay. I can't express how much I appreciate the staffs at TruSmile for their attentiveness to details and genuine care.

To start, the front desk staff is kind and accommodating to your schedule. I have had to schedule and re-schedule appointments, and they always answer and return calls quickly. When I check in for appointments, I am seen earlier than my appointments sometimes! The dental hygienists are also very friendly and explain every part of the appointment. They are prompt with the services, but also coordinate so you see the doctor quickly when you are done having your teeth cleaned. I just recently met Dr. Han since he has taken over the practice and he is very helpful and shares his best advice with his patients. He answered all my questions and took some time to get to know me during my first visit with him. Glad I go to this dental office and will always refer my friends and family here!
