She said YES, she would hold, reminded me that closed at 6. Went right back after work, waited in line again, Mgr register. I reminded her I was there 4hrs ago she was holding tights, gave my name. She said, No that was yesterday. I put them back. Nope, it was today. Few hours ago, I asked if she dated it. She didnt, she put it back. Told me to go look, maybe still there. It wasn't. She argued and Yelled at me while I was leaving. "I DIDN'T HAVE TO HOLD THEM AT ALL. What do you want me to do." No, she didnt have to, but said she would, knew when I was coming back. My wife and I have dreamt of opening our own shop for several years, and were finally able to realize that dream in September 2023. A personal favorite of ours is our vintage Christmas, but we also feature hand selected midcentury modern kitsch as well as our own crafts including wreaths and unique clothing. I’ve worked in and around the antique auction business for the last quarter century, and my wife has worked in secondhand retail for just as long.
