this place is freaking amazing. It's like going through a maze as many rooms and vendors this has it's unbelievable. We spent several hours walking about finding unique things from the past and ultimately purchasing more than we probably intended on. read more

Fairfield Antique Mall - Fairfield Antique Mall Items for Sale - Antiques Near Me - Fairfield, Maine

There is a lot to see here. But the last time I was there (summer 2025) I was disappointed with one of the clerks at the counter. I dropped off a few things at the counter for them to hold while I continued to shop. He apparently wrapped them while I was shopping. When I came back to the counter, my husband wanted to talk with the other clerk about a couple of cameras. The first clerk tried to rush me to check out my items before my husband finished his conversation. I told him that I was waiting for my husband. He kept asking me every couple of minutes if I was ready to check out. I kept telling him no and he seemed to get more and more frustrated with me. He slammed things around and kept sighing loudly each time I said I was waiting. I can only describe his behavior as rude. There was no one else in the vicinity so I wasn't holding up a line or anything. Finally, after about 10 minutes, my husband finished his conversation and I said I was ready to check out. I had wanted to take a second look at one of the items I had dropped off. He told me that I couldn't because he had already wrapped it. Yes, I know I could have told him to just keep it, but I didn't. So, just know two things: 1. When you drop something off for them to hold it for you, just know that you can't re-evaluate your choice. 2. All camera equipment that the vendors bring in gets collected by the manager and put on e-bay. So you will need to ask the price at the counter and likely haggle. I probably won't go again because rude employees aren't acceptable. read more

Much larger than I expected. Lots of variety and varied merchandise and eras represented. I bought a pair of Fox Canine Teeth earrings... yup you read that right! This was a local guy who made taxidermy and other odds bits from animal bones, hides, etc read more

Really enjoyed browsing the many nooks and crannies, filled with antiques and collectables at the Fairfield Antique Mall. I can't wait to visit Maine again and see what treasures I can find. read more

Delightful nooks throughout. Fair prices and amazing diversity of stuff. This place is huge inside! Incredibly helpful staff.

Its sad, as we have seen this place become more of a yard sale in the last few years, and today was the worst we have seen it in many years. As background we have spent $1000s there, and have carried out many large loads of stuff. There were very few if any true antiques and it really is a large yard sale. We really look forward to this place each year and it really was sad to see the level of stuff the dealers are selling. Also as background, we have been buying and selling true antiques since the early 80s and we realize the market is tough, but this place is no where near what it used to be for antiques. We really hope they get it back to even close to what it used to be. read more

I've been to many antique places in Mass, Vermont, and Maine. For me, there are generally three kinds of places: 1) the place that is meticulously ordered, everything is clean, nothing is buried/hidden,and everything is priced sky high. 2) the place that has tons of booths overstuffed with random junk that you really gave to dig through to find anything and most of it is either broken, rusted, mismatched, etc. and the prices are all over the place 3) the place that's between the two- not so disorganized that you can't find anything, but not so well groomed that you know there won't be any deals. Fairfield is this kind of place- the perfect medium, and one of the RARE places where you can dig if you want, but plenty of booth and display cases full of items that are arranged well. This place has everything and the staff at the counter are always really nice. One man even offered to carry my items to the car for me- but wasn't needed. I buy something every single time I visit... hard not to find at least one thing here! read more

Wow, I mean wow! This antique mall is MASSIVE. It will take you at least two hours to see every booth, and days to look at everything. We drove two hours from southern Maine to visit this mall, because we love antiques and group places like this. I ended up leaving with a full box of old books, most of which were half off! The staff were friendly and welcoming. They even offer free hot coffee for the customers, as well as a small snack bar with soda and snacks! With a store this large, you may as well sip a coffee or have a snack while browsing! From the outside it does not look very big, but once you get inside it's huge! So many booths, and so much to look at. Books, dishes, and more! Unlike other reviewers who think "we've seen this place become more of a yard sale in the last few years," it's actually more than that. The prices in most booths are reasonable, but other booths are way overpriced ($53 for a yearbook in one booth, whereas other booths had them at $10). I will definitely come back as soon as I can to browse more! read more

I live in a neighboring Town and drop in every couple of weeks or so. My experience is that I always find a few interesting things and the folks working there are friendly and helpful. read more

Good place to browse and purchase interesting stuff. Pricing is better than other places.

I was driving through Northern Maine with a friend and said, "stop the car!" He stopped. I instructed him to turn around, and we turned into the Fairfield Antiques Mall. This is my kind of antiquing. The type where you do literally get lost. There are so many rooms and split levels to explore! I spent at least an hour in there making sure I looked in every room, nook, and cranny! read more

One of the best antique malls in Maine. It is certainly one of the biggest with 4 stories and many dealers. They have books, antique tools, glass, pottery, jewelry, collectibles, antique toys, furniture, etc. Very friendly staff. Organized well. Easy to see everything. Not too many locked cases. Huge place with something for everyone. This is one of my go to antiques malls in Maine. I have bought many items throughout the years there. Good prices, not too high. Clean place that does not smell like a lot of antique shops do. You never know what you might find. read more

I used to like this mall very much!! They are now over priced what they call "Antiques". The prices have gone through the roof! You used to be able to find some neat treasures here that were very affordable...The people that work there are not friendly at all and won't even look or greet you when you come in and if you do buy anything they can barely thank you. I have been in at least 4 or 5 times and it has been the same attitude and approach so I no longer shop or browse at their store. read more

I absolutely love this place. Every time I visit my parents we go and I never leave empty handed. They are so friendly and I love the way they set everything up for you to look at. I could spend all day in there my dad simply raves about them and they are good to him... Thanx read more
