What a great addition to our sweet treat rotation! I'd heard about this place but didn't really know where it was until we drove by on the way to dinner. I made sure we stopped on the way home. You can tell good gelato by the containers... and this stuff is good gelato. Extra points for the gelato being mixed right in front of you as you order. The flavors are subtle and nuanced or bold and creamy depending on which one you choose. I loved the chocolate and Biscoff flavors. I will absolutely get the Panda flavor next time because just a taste of it transported me back to eating ice cream in Japan. It's places like this that make you glad we have a way to provide our public feedback, because you know word of mouth can't spread fast enough. It is rare that you come across a true labor of love and this place one of those rare exceptions. The owner makes the gelato from scratch, serves it, did the art work in the store, designed the cups...it's all her, and she is so eager to talk about her work and share her Asian-influenced flavors. Unfortunately, I was only able to try the lychee sorbet, as it was the only non-dairy flavor, but it was delightfully refreshing and delicious. I don't even like sorbet and it was outstanding! The feedback from the person I was with and other customers in the store was also extremely positive. I hope word spreads like wildfire, because this place was such a personal and wonderful experience that is so rare to find and goes far beyond quality and delicious food. Jelato88 is quite the hole in the wall! When I showed up, I was surprised to see a tiny little corner shop with enough space for 2-3 people to stand once you get open the door. Inside, you'll find all the flavors set out for you in addition to the machines that are actually making the gelato. Jessie let us try out a bunch of flavors. My favorites were the Pu'er and Yuzu. Many places that incorporate real tea into their ice creams do so very lightly. Here, you get a really strong taste of all the teas and really get some of the complexities. The Gelato here is some of the best I've ever had! I love that they incorporate both Asian flavors as well as the classics to their gelatos!! Small store with about 4 chairs outside. There a bunch of unique flavors with free sampling and the clerk was very helpful and informative, and clearly very passionate about what she does. You can get up to 2 flavors in a small cup and up to 3 in a large I had the black truffle and P'ueh tea flavors and they were both fantastic. Stopped by today to try with my wife after getting sushi across from it. Was very tight inside only room for 3 people to stand inside. But for a place to grab a quick bite it's perfect. Everything is made in house and no artificial flavors and junk which I like! She said they change flavors weekly and I love that they have lots of Asian themed flavors like jasmine tea. Also the butterscotch was delicious. I ultimately ended up getting chocolate and vanilla which were both very good. For how much you get it's alittle pricey but making everything in house and better ingredients is worth paying more for. There is a 4% charge for using cards and cash seems to be the way to go for this place but they also take zelle. read more

We've been here more times than I'd like to admit, and every single time has been such a treat. Fresh gelato with very unique flavors. So far, our favorite flavors are the osmanthus, ube, pandan, biscoff, and the durian! The staff is wonderful and they will give you a sample of any/all the flavors. The store itself is small but cozy. They do have a couple seats outside if you wanted to have your gelato at the store. We typically take ours to go. We will continue to support this store. Owner is AMAZINGGGGG. This is a small cute business where she hand mixes all the flavors and they're all unique too. There's flavors like jasmine tea, yuzu, oolong tea, and cherry blossom (and they taste exactly how they sound). You can't get these anywhere else. It isn't overly sweet either. We were looking for gelato nearby today and this popped up. Didn't realize they just opened about a week ago, but I am so glad they did. The flavors are unique, really tasty, and the texture of the gelato was spot on. I loved the Jasmine and Matcha flavors. I also appreciated that they use all natural ingredients, and not the bright artificial colors that you find at other places. The owner and one other employee were both very friendly and allowed us to sample multiple flavors each. The shop is cute, but super tiny, barely room for 4 of us to stand in front of the counter, so you have to eat outside.
