Came with friends and family from out of state for the 3rd. Good experience till tonight - service was good at first but then a skinny dark haired woman (not sure her name but said her boyfriend is the GM) approaches and is beyond rude when taking our order. We will not be back very disappointed with how she treats paying customers. read more

Great brewery! I was here over the summer when they had a smaller bar and just last weekend. Now that things in GA have changed, you no longer have to buy a tour package at GA breweries, so you can just buy single beers, a flight, and take (sealed) beers to go! Their tasting room has so many options now! I feel like there were at least 15 options to try in the tasting room. The bartenders there were super cool, we had a good time talking with them and they were helpful picking out beers. If you like beer and are in the area, definitely check it out! It's a fairly large tasting room with tables also. Also, they have some solid beers! read more

We just had a private event at the Marconi tap room and can't say enough how great an experience it was! The venue is great for socializing, the people working there were super friendly and the food which was catered from their restaurant was very good. I highly recommend this place! We can't wait to go back and have a beer or two just for fun! read more

I must admit that a large part of enjoying our experience was the clientele. But everyone was friendly! We are from out of town, so had to learn the "brewery rules" for buying the experience. But it was well worth it for us! You have to buy a tour and a handful of tickets worth one taste each (4 or so oz pours). That was plenty! You get to keep the glass. My husband has been home brewing and we definitely enjoy the craft beer scene (read: good beer and most of the environments). This did not disappoint! Highly recommend. One downfall: on a beautiful early fall day, we would've enjoyed having our beer outdoors, but the patio is tiny! read more

We were so excited to see that there was a brewery coming to Alpharetta. And after stopping by to give it a try, a pretty dang good brewery at that! They are set up in an office park but it perfectly suits them and the atmosphere they have created. They have live music, arcade games, and tables spread out for socializing. They also will take you on a tour of the brewery where they give you the history of why Jekyll has its name and how it came to be, also where the names of the beers originated. They serve their beer in mason jars- Very southern and very appropriate :) Also have cool looking shirts and caps. We have started tosee their beers in growler stores around town as well. Cant wait to bring friends and out of towners in for a taste. read more

Six drink tickets and great beer. No time restriction...so if it takes you 6 hours to drink 6 beers....well 1) you're a slow drinker and 2) you have plenty of time! Their hours of operation is great. Jekyll Brewing is an awesome brewery with great people and tasty beers. You can definitely tell they have a passion for brewing and a desire to serve people great beer. I was very impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable staff and the tour was very personal and informative. The tasting room is big and open with lots of tables and fun stuff to do: an arcade machine and pinball machine on free play, giant Jenga, two Xboxes and a TV tuned to a football game. I definitely plan on coming back and bringing more of my friends! Highly recommended! read more

Visited Jekyll on a Saturday afternoon about an hour after they opened. There were approximately 15 others who were waiting for the tour, which started at 2:15pm. When you first enter you pay for your tour, tickets, and takeaways. This comes out to $18 and it's the only option. The employee was knowledgeable and let us know about the Georgia Law requiring breweries to sell tours in order to serve beer - probably a good idea for safety reasons. They go by the standard 1 ticket = 1/2 pour of the Jekyll mason jar that they give you. There were ten beers on tap and I went for the Southern Session blonde ale first. This is what I sipped on during the tour. At 2:15 exact we gathered at the back corner of the tasting room where the tour begins. Here they explained how the company began with donations and they honor the donors before each tour by toasting to the mural of donors' names. The first room they take you is like an intake room for their grains. Then you are taken to a smaller area where the actual process begins: the mill. They admit the mill is small and make a joke about it. I thought it was cool how they had it setup with a corkscrew inside the piping feeding the milled grains to the main room. The third room of the tour was where the kegs are stored - some clean and some dirty. The next room was the main brew room where the milled grains come. This is where all the boilers are located. They have a lot of new equipment they recently purchased, so it's apparent that Jekyll is the fastest growing brewery in the state. The last room was the bottling room where there is a state of the art Italian conveyor belt that allows them to bottle at significantly greater speeds than their previous 6 bottles/minute. They also had wood barrel brews, mostly rum and some tequila barrels. These are going to be limited release, so look out for them. Then we were back in the tasting room and a few new groups shuffled in for the next tour. There was a ping pong table, pinball machine, golf game, lifesize Jenga, and connect 4 too. The last two beers I had were the amber and the Big Creek Kolsch. I liked the Kolsch the best because of the hints of pear and decided to choose this one to fill my "Crowler" (Crowler= can+growler). For those that plan on visiting, be sure to know that the building is on the right on Marconi Drive after the first McKesson sign and before the Caterpillar and Honda buildings. It is not well labeled from the street. You'll have to rely on building numbers to know you're there. Overall, great beer and a cool place to hang in the burbs. Excited to see their upcoming improvements and expansions and will visit again to experience the change. Didn't get a chance to try the pineapple habenero beer, so that's something I'll be looking forward to in the future! read more

The beer was not bad. I prefer Sweetwater and Red Brick as far as flavor goes. That being said, the atmosphere here was really nice. They had free video games and corn hole. They had a really good live band playing and there was about 30 to 40 people hanging out and enjoying beer. The staff was friendly and the short tour was interesting. read more

Fairly priced for what they offer - 6 samples (usually a pretty generous pour), a glass to take home, and a crowler to take home as well (I believe it's 32oz). The brewery also has some free games to play while you take down some beers - ping pong, Golden tee, and Jenga. I've been a few times and I'll most definitely be back. read more

I've really liked the progression of beers that Jekyll had put out in the past year or two. I'm really impressed with their Southern Juice and Tart Vise, definitely two of the better beers from Georgia. It's a bit far out in Alpharetta, but it's worth the trip or make sure to stop by if you're in the area. read more

Have always loved Jekyll, but had an odd experience tonight. My brother and sister in law were in town so we had to visit Jekyll, because we love it there. We got there at 6:30 and they close at 7:30. The first bartender Vincente seemed completely bothered by my sister in laws beer related questions; are you tired or stoned.... one or the other, not sure? Upon leaving, a man walks in to order a beer 20 minutes before closing. The female bartender actually commented on how many hours she had worked the day before and that day... I mean I completely understand, you're tired, but you're getting paid, it's your job. I will return because I have never had a bad experience here, but this time.... very uncomfortable vibe. read more

Great place to meet up with friends, listen to some music and drink some delicious beer. On Saturdays there's always some degree of live music, usually inside. A nice selection of different beer styles. From the lighter kolsh, to the more hoppy Hop Dang Diggity, (and if you're lucky hophead they'll still have Hootin and Hollerin double IPA) to the darker export stout. We went yesterday for their 3rd year anniversary and it didn't disappoint with the selection. They had a cucumber session and ginger/hisbiscus session IPA along with regular session which was one of my favs on a hot day. They also had a peanut butter stout and peanut butter and raspberry stout. Loved the peanut butter but wasn't a fan of the raspberry. Also Copious imperial stout, normal and in rum barrels. Very good. And other IPAs like Southern Juice and watermelon hop dang diggity. My favorites, peanut butter stout, southern juice IPA, coffee cooter brown, and regular Fixin' To (the session). Usually they'll have food but get it early or they'll be out. We called to get delivery from Humble Pie in Alpharetta which was delicious but took an hour. One of the workers said that was atypical because they're usually faster (less than 45 mins). Anyway, WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND. Consider eating before if going later on a Saturday or call in some pizza for delivery. read more

I'm hesitant to not rate this higher because I love craft beer and I want to see this place thrive. However, Big Creek is the most disgusting beer I've ever tried. Hop Dang Diggity was alright, but not the best hoppy beer you can find from a brewery in ATL. I didn't really mind the Cooter Brown, but honestly, I have a problem supporting any business that intentionally uses the word "Cooter" as a part of its branding. I'm sure the term "Cooter" would do great in Tennessee or Mississippi, but not Atlanta. It's not just the branding that lacks good taste. Based on flavors alone, this is my least favorite brewery in Georgia. read more
