This order was special to us because it was a sympathy arrangement and we wanted to convey our sincerest sympathy while providing some cheer. I didn't know exactly what type of arrangement or colors I wanted, but I took a chance by ordering a Designer's Choice Premium Sympathy floral arrangement. I ordered online last night in California time and it was delivered this morning to the Outer Banks! Our recipient sent a photo of the beautiful arrangement and it was far beyond our expectations. I wanted to see a necklace that was in a case, so I waited patiently until one of the two employees was available. When I asked if I could see it, the employee dramatically sighed and asked which one. I pointed it out, and she grabbed it, put it on the counter, and immediately started walking away. I had to get her attention again to ask what material it was. She responded, "Well, what does the tag say?" I looked at the other side of the tag, which had "gp" scribbled on it. She then said, with an annoyed tone, "Okay, so it's gold plated," as though I had asked some ridiculous question. Then she walked away again. The entire interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to purchase an item from the store. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering her simply by asking a question about something I was considering buying. I was so put off by the interaction that I didn't even want the necklace anymore. Why go out of your way to make a paying customer feel unwelcome for no apparent reason? I won't give my money to a business where the staff can't be bothered to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. If you look at their Google reviews, the staff's attitude is a known issue. They apologize in response to reviews but make no adjustments. It's a shame for a store with such a nice selection and location to have the employees ruin the experience.

Every one of my experiences has been terrific and I always look forward to going there. In early July I purchased a purse from Allie June, which I loved and used a lot--unfortunately, the handle broke unexpectedly. I called Allie June and left a message. She got back to me within 24 hours to let me know she had ordered a replacement, which I picked up this weekend during my visit to the Outer Banks over Labor Day weekend. Allie made a point to give me the bag personally and thank me for my patience in waiting for a new bag. This year the weather wasn't great, but we still managed to catch 200 lbs of tuna. Captain Reed did keep us updated on the weather report and offered us the option to reschedule. We chose not to reschedule and are happy with that decision. Captain Reed's boat is clean and well maintained. The cabin is air conditioned and has ample space for storing our items (including refrigerator space). There is a bathroom, table, and couch in the cabin. Then additional shaded seating on the deck. Fishing equipment is high quality and the first mate keeps the lines baited and maintained. A chair is set up that holds the rod making it much easier to reel in your catch. You keep your catch and have the option at the Oregon Inlet Fishing Center to have your catch cleaned. Tips: They fill up quick so book in advance. Full-day charters are recommended in NC as it takes about 2-3 hours to reach the best fishing spots.

We took the refresher class with Matt the afternoon before our wreck dive. Matt was very personable and the set up they had at the salt water quarry was cool (a series of underwater platforms that you could kneel on to demonstrate the skills). The next day we did the wreck dive with Pam. Pam was very knowledgeable about the wreck site and made everyone feel comfortable. We had a mix of experience on our dive and some other teens as well. If you're relatively inexperienced at ocean diving Pam and Matt will teach you what you need to know. If you're more experienced Pam is a great guide. My son and I had a blast!
