I truly hope that anyone looking for an amazing dentist or someone who fears going to the dentist…read morereads this review. My whole life I suffered with bad teeth for many reasons, some of which were medical. I've been to dentists who were cold and intimidating , and did not make the process any easier so then I wouldn't go back and the problems would of course worsen. That all changed when I met Dr. Arthur Isakov at Dental Concepts in Glen Cove. I was very nervous and apprehensive, but I walked into a very sterile and clean environment with very high tech equipment. As soon as I met Dr. Isakov I knew I liked him. He has such a warm and funny personality. He is very friendly and approachable. I came to him in a very serious condition where I needed to have all my teeth removed and replaced with either dentures or implants. I've never been more afraid of having to do something like I was with this. But Dr. Isakov and his assistant Luz were both so gentle and caring. The two of them together were so calming and reassuring. Every few minutes he would stop and ask if I was okay. He pulled them all out so quickly! I hardly had time to realize that it was done. I became very emotional afterwards because it was a scary and overwhelming experience for me, but they both hugged me and reassured me that I was okay. Dr. Isakov made sure I understood the post op instructions . That night he actually called me to check on me. He said I can call his cell phone at any time if I had any questions or concerns. He then called me several times over the next few days to make sure I was okay. I have never had a dentist care so much and take time out of their very busy days to check on me. And it's not like he calls to check on me because he feels obligated. You can tell how genuine and sincere he is. He truly cares about his patients. I have my son going to him now and I've told all of Glen Cove about my experience. For me it was so much more than just finding an incredible dentist who is above par, but finding someone who is also a great person. And Dr. Isakov is exactly that. He is an exceptionally experienced and talented dentist, but he is also an amazingly kind and compassionate person. I know this is a long review and I hope whoever needed to hear this has read it. I absolutely recommend Dr Isakov over any other dentist there is. Go see him and speak to him and you will feel the exact same way as I do. It will be the best decision you make. I know it was for me. :)

Infections followed, and I needed a gum operation at another doctors office, who might have been aware of a plastic shard which I recently had dislodged from between two teeth, and that had been stuck there - apparently for years. Both Baine and these other two doctors - Liao and Mitrut in Astoria - had been recommended by Dr. Peter Blumenthal of Astoria, Queens as referrals for the cover-up.. I only recently dislodged the small, sharp, double-edged piece of plastic, which had been located at the same spot Baine had violently twisted his instrument. as I have described above. I'd been probing the swollen area between the teeth using a plastic brush-toothpick, the kind you can buy at CVS Pharmacy. The plastic shard had been jammed sideways between two teeth at the gum line, and had been giving me much trouble for those ten years. Wait! did I say 10 years? It's been TWENTY!!!

After years of debating about getting veneers and multiple consultations, I went with Dr. Kosdon…read morebecause he was nice, genuine, and had an amazing portfolio (and yes, it's surprising how many dentists say they do veneers but don't have a portfolio to show). Dr. Kosdon was very patient with me throughout the entire process and understood that I wanted a more natural looking style. I had fallen on my front tooth so I only wanted four veneers to fix a few areas that were once perfect from braces. Dr. Kosdon did an amazing job! I will be honest because I feel like no one mentions this, but it's definitely not an overnight process and the veneers--especially the temp veneers--take some time getting used to. That said, I really trusted Dr. Kosdon, who ensured me it would get better and easier. Six months later, I'm thrilled I did it and have absolutely no regrets. Yes, I may need to fix them down the line with age (as most need to be), but I couldn't be happier with the results. I just can't believe I waited this long to do it!
