I've had quite a few cavities filled and getting them filled by her has been the most pleasant experience I've had at the dentist. I wish I knew her when my kids were young, she would have been better with them than some of the dentist's we've been to. She's not interested in making extra money off her patients either. The doctor said she was in the middle of a surgery. So, why keep people waiting 3 hours. Acknowledge me and tell me so I dont sit there for hours. Then I was told to reschedule. They wanted to give me 2 days later.!seriously for pain. So I was told to fill a prescription when the doctor had not even seen me yet. Further why would I wait 2 days. So I was told the dentist would call me and review the xrays with me over the phone. Guess what? A day later and I am still waiting on this call. Horrible. Just Horrible. This made me think about my safety and compared to other medical offices, and for a dentist where things are going in my mouth, I was concerned about the staff's hygiene practices and their care of customer's safety. In addition, I really disliked that we were discussing my financial situation, standing in front of a lobby over plexiglass, while other customers were listening about my procedures and price quote. The manager (Josephine?) was polite and tried to be accommodating but I just didn't feel right about their staff. I really felt unappreciated as a customer. 2 hours later, I went to another Invisalign provider and they gladly price match and I paid the whole procedure in full minus insurance coverage. They also had a ton of hand sanitizers available and they separated the new and used pens in front of their counters. Scheduled appointment for today 8:30am. Arrived 8:20am and walk into the building. Had to run down the steps panicked as I was being locked in. Called the office and of course no one is there. Texted the number back that did the "appointment confirmation" and waited until 9:15am. No one showed up. Received a text back a few hours later that I was on a "wait list" and that appointment confirmation text and email were mistakes (but if I was on a waiting list, wouldn't there have been patients there???) Also, if they made a mistake, why did no one from the office call me? No appointments now until after the new year, of course. Needless to say, not too happy as I drove 45 minutes to be there. Also, in the past I have been there and never even saw the dentist after a cleaning. Because I chose the "cheap" dental insurance, they've made comments about that as well. I'm sorry, but I personally see Medicaid and private pay patients myself and never treat patients less than because of their insurance. This treatment is not ethical.
