Doctor Kaw promised me that I would retain my close up vision (very important to…read moreme) after my cataract surgery and then she implanted a distance only IOL and now not only can I not see close up or mid range but I have imperfect distance vision too. When I wasn't jumping up and down and kissing her feet with joy and instead wanted to know why she did the opposite of what I wanted she physically turned her back on me. She refused to continue my treatment (and I was only four days post op). She left me with uneven sight, no referral, no medical records...nothing. I'm having to start over with another doctor. I will never be the same physically or emotionally. Now she says the outcome was as "intended" and is "optimal" which is ridiculous considering she did the exact opposite of what I wanted. She also says I should call for an appointment, as if I would ever go back there again after she kicked me out because her fragile ego was wounded after I told her I was unhappy with the results! Avoid this medical office at all costs!!! Edit: After more than a month I finally got my medical records and her doctor's notes are all lies and leave out her tantrums and the odd things she said to me like "why reach for high Mercedes when you can't even ride a Toyota" when I asked about Toric lenses. She will deny it but I can prove it.

The technicians are pleasant enough. Everything seems to take a long time, so be prepared to wait…read morequite a while. The doctor is competent, although you spend very little time with her. There's not a lot of communication. My main concern was with the receptionist at the check in/out desk who was quite rude. I don't think a person with this kind of attitude should be in the position of greeting or interacting with patients. Generally the care I've received with this practice has been good. But there is room for improvement with patient interaction.

He left there at 11:06. Second follow up after surgery was Clifton Park. He had a 9:50 & did not leave until 11:38. You are brought in by a tech who does their thing. Then wait for the doctor who sees you for 5 minutes. This is called GREED. Pack them in, make them wait so thr dr. makes money. Disrespectful to patients.
