Solid 4 Stars - Professional, Reliable, and Consistent…read more Ever since moving to the area, I've trusted Armstrong Auto Care with the majority of my auto needs--and they've earned that trust. From the jump, they operate like true professionals. They'll often research parts before I even arrive, have appointments set up efficiently, and are ready to take my car in almost immediately. That kind of preparation matters. It shows they respect your time. Their estimates are always reasonable, and what I appreciate most is the communication. They call along the way while servicing the car, explain what's going on, and give clear pricing options--economical, mid-tier, best-in-class--so you can make decisions that fit both your needs and your budget. No pressure, just transparency. The workmanship has consistently been solid. I've never had to return for a repair issue. And on the one or two occasions when I caught a nail and ended up with a flat, they honored the lifetime tire guarantee without hesitation. Patched up and back on the road. The staff is young, sharp, articulate, and energetic. They engage customers well and create an environment that feels professional but not stiff. Four stars, solid. If you're in the Virginia Gardens area and looking for dependable auto care with strong communication and fair pricing, Armstrong is a safe bet.

I've always had bad luck finding a trustworthy shop, but Armstrong Auto Care completely changed…read morethat for me. I first came here with my '99 F-150, and they treated my truck with the kind of detail and care you don't see often anymore. They tested their work, explained everything clearly, and made sure I left with the truck running healthy. What really stood out was how they took the time to educate me on what to stay on top of with an older vehicle. That extra effort makes a huge difference, ever since that first visit I honestly haven't gone anywhere else . Same honest service, same attention to detail, and the peace of mind knowing my truck is in good hands. It's my main shop , and I don't trust anywhere else with my truck. I tried calling them the next day but no answer after many, many tries. I drove down there and was told my car would be next in line the next day and they would call me mid day. No call. I called them at least 10 times during the day with no answer. I went there again and was made promises again and I took my vehicle and left. What a waste of my time. No respect for others. 2 days without my vehicle and my car was parked on the street the whole time and very vulnerable. Judging by the number of cars parked all over the place my story seems to be the norm. The place is dirty and unorganized. The woman I spoke with was very apoligetic and very nice but I would not recommend this place at all.

I would have guessed the ink on 1-year warranty would have dried before I'd need to use it. Sadly, that isn't the case. Now, I'll need to pay to rent a car for another multi-day stint with AAction. (I don't suppose they'd be gracious enough to pick up the tab for continued inconvenience)... needless to say, I'm not terribly satisfied with AAction Better Built Transmissions right about now...
