A lot of the pieces looked similar to items you can find at places like BTS, The Council, or Out of the Closet--just with a much steeper markup here. Because of that, it was hard to justify actually buying anything. That said, it's still a fun spot to wander through if you enjoy browsing eclectic knickknacks and vintage-style decor. It's good for a quick peruse, but personally I wouldn't plan on spending much money here.

Which brings me to my next point- before you pick out furniture, make sure you think about material! Cannot emphasize this enough- everything in a furniture store will always look pristine and clean, but have you given any thought to how long you want this piece? Will it look as good if it's white cotton and absorbs moisture like a sponge cake? Consider if a covering for the furniture piece is an option and/or if it would actually look nice. There's nothing like going to your uncle's house where a nice piece of furniture was covered with a nice cloth to protect it, then an older cloth was put over the nice cloth to protect the cloth, so that by the time they have an important guest coming and want to show off the original piece of furniture, it's already been worn down! Keep your timeline close to the front of your mind folks! The person who welcomed us was immediately of kind and generous spirit. The collection and presentation are exquisite; the art gallery a treat to enjoy. Yet topping the entire visit was a walk through the bonsai garden outside. Antique outdoor pieces among pots holding exposed mature roots intimate decades of conversations around tables and chairs, repartees under moonlight, and meticulous skilled cultivation. I was offered something for it, however, I stated that I would like to do my own research on the sword. This guy took offense to this and stated that if I leave the store I won't be able to come back with the sword. He also asked me if he looks like the type of person to swindle customers and pointed to the antiques in the store. I told him no, and that I didn't mean him any offense and I just wanted to look at the history of it. I decided to leave after that. I don't think I'm going to come back here ever again. Seemed a little bit threatening and disrespectful.
