The shop has a lot of small decorative items and vintage-style trinkets, but many of them felt significantly overpriced for what they were. A lot of the pieces looked similar to items you can find at places like BTS, The Council, or Out of the Closet--just with a much steeper markup here. Because of that, it was hard to justify actually buying anything. That said, it's still a fun spot to wander through if you enjoy browsing eclectic knickknacks and vintage-style decor. It's good for a quick peruse, but personally I wouldn't plan on spending much money here.

Staff were there but didn't greet me or anything. No biggie. You can easily spend a couple hours in here. Victorian china and silverware? Check. Scandinavian ceramics? Check. Southeast Asian statues? Check. This is a place where it really pays to look carefully. There jewelry collection is pretty substantial and has a wide variety of pieces. I had one find that blew me away: an Ancient Roman bronze belt buckle that had been turned into a pendant. Circa 100 CE. Pretty sure it was the oldest thing in the building, but I can't be absolutely sure. The employees were delightful to talk to and were very helpful on getting prices and showing me things in display cases. I got into a long conversation with an art historian over the aforementioned belt buckle. Prices range. I bought a pair of beautiful pillows for under 35 dollars. But there are some pieces here that are either so rare, unusual or simply intrinsically valuable that they are going to be an investment. This is by no means a thrift-store. Will definitely return.

Important to know going in - This isn't Goodwill, it's more high end second hand shopping in Venice! However it's not as high end as a gallery and has no pretentious vibes. It feels comfortable walking around to scope things out. They have their own small parking lot but it fills up quickly and then cars camp for spots on the weekends. I've found that the earlier you go, the better. They have really cool pieces, unique items and everyone I encountered was friendly and eager to assist. They say they have 100 dealers there! The space is well organized so you don't feel claustrophobic despite being surrounded by stuff. Very cool space I'll be back to! They also list items on ebay!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and there were a couple of special offers available during my visit, which was a nice bonus. They even have a small fitting area, which is incredibly convenient since most thrift stores and Goodwills don't offer that option. Because of this, all sales are final and they don't accept returns, which makes sense. Parking was easy when I visited. Street parking was free at the time, though there are meters around, so I believe it depends on the day and time you go.

Having traipsed all over Europe myself trying to find unique pieces, my hat is off to the owner of this gallery. I think a well known, higher end mass furniture store has not only taken its inspiration from this collector's items for its reproductions ( if not outright copied them) but has also copied the showroom display techniques. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I guess.... You wont always find something that is your taste (or budget) but it is such an unusual place it is worth popping in to see what is new and special.

I was…read moregreeted by an older bearded guy who looked at the sword and told me that it was made after world war II with spare parts. I was offered something for it, however, I stated that I would like to do my own research on the sword. This guy took offense to this and stated that if I leave the store I won't be able to come back with the sword. He also asked me if he looks like the type of person to swindle customers and pointed to the antiques in the store. I told him no, and that I didn't mean him any offense and I just wanted to look at the history of it. I decided to leave after that. I don't think I'm going to come back here ever again. Seemed a little bit threatening and disrespectful.
