This office is very clean, and Dr. Fernandez and her assistant, Rocio, are very friendly. It appears they get along very well and are good friends, as they were discussing their personal lives, etc... On my first visit, I was told I needed crowns and was told that if my insurance did not cover them, they would offer me a payment plan. I was later informed that my insurance did not cover the crowns. I declined the crowns despite Rocio's insistence. Upon asking about other options, I was informed that there were none and that they would not treat that area of my mouth. Despite that, I returned for my second visit, at which Dr. Fernandez indicated that I needed additional fillings and that Rocio would perform them. Upon seeing Rocio, without explanation, she did not perform the fillings and instead indicated she would treat my teeth for cash payment. I doubt this is common practice, and I found this to be rather disturbing. Friendliness and cleanliness are a must in any business. However, it appears that, as kind, compassionate, and well-meaning as Dr. Fernandez might be, it is Rocio who makes the final treatment decision as opposed to Dr. Fernandez. I rated my experience two stars instead of one only because of the staff's friendliness and the office's cleanliness. read more

I came in here a few times for dental cleanings and x-rays. The dentist would always try to sell me mouth guards or pressure me into getting tooth fillings I did not want (too expensive). One time she said I needed to get a "special medical" mouth wash for infected teeth so I paid $65 for it. Turns out, I found it on Amazon for $40. I feel they are just trying to rip you off all the time and don't really care about your teeth. Period. The cleanings compared to other dental hygienists I've been to are just okay. I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took my son in , waited about an hour before they took his x-rays. They did not know what they were doing the whole time. The staff was talking about their personal life to other people and not doing anything that has to do with dental. I will never go back to this place again, stay away! read more

I only came in for a cleaning it had been awhile since I had one they tried to say my insurance didnt cover it and I need all kinds of other work.. AND Dr Huq is very rough and kept saying my teeth are in bad shape, mind you I have never had a root canal or abscess or any major issues other than a couple cavities as a kid.. The office manager tried up-sale me on a $400 night guard, and trick me into paying out of pocket because "my insurance doesn't cover all my teeth" .. (Felt like I was buying a car from a tricky-fast talking salesman) After I got home and googled what they tried to sell me turns out they were trying to charge me for unnecessary services.. Needless to say I wont go back , dont trust them they have no problem lying to trick you to pay out of pocket... read more

I used to really appreciate the services provided here I would take all my clients I care give for here but they decided to erase my file after 6 months of not coming in and demanding I have insurance pay for x rays and authorization all over again just to get a routine cleaning I will never come back nor will I recommend this dentistry again the care quality is deteriorating and I am very disappointed read more

DR.HUQ IS THE WORST DENTIST I HAVE YET TO MEET! She did a root canal on me about a year and a half ago and BOTCHED it so bad. My crown fell off a couple months ago so I went in to get it cemented back on and she told me it didn't fit. She took impressions to order a new crown and at my next appointment Dr.Huq lied to my face saying she had a new crown to place on. There was no new crown, she pulled off the crown that she has just previously said did not fit and permanently cemented it on my root canal tooth, pulled it off with PERMANENT cement, permanently cemented it again extremely crooked and I told her it didn't feel good and she said I am not trusting her. She said to give it an hour... so I left because my procedure was over. I went to get a second opinion and they informed me that I developed a large abscess (infection) at the bottom of the root canal. I requested my x-rays from Dr.Huq's office to confirm she knew about the infection before I got the second opinion and the x-rays taken at Jefferson Dental show the abscess, keep in mind they sent me away with a crooked crown and KNOWING I had an abscess but did NOT inform me of my infection. I just got that tooth pulled today and am in the process of getting a dental implant from A DIFFERENT DENTIST. This office is extremely unethical and does not care when it comes to malpractice. Please do not send your children here just because they accept Medi-Cal Dentical. I am going to attach a picture of the crown she sent me away with. read more

Very friendly staff! Did a walk in with no problem. I never wait long. The receptionists at the front are always very helpful and welcoming. Very clean facility overall. I love how caring, patient, understanding the doctor is. They always explain everything they do and why.
