He got to my apartment's parking lot before I did, and had diagnosed my broken fuel pump line not only within the hour (wrestling my Chevy like a pro) but with a tremendous attitude. I was waiting on a part to come in for my mower & borrowed the neighbors mower (Large riding zero-turn mower) & very stupidly grabbed the wrong gas can out of their garage (unmarked, should have done a smell test) & assumed it was gas & instead it was diesel. This happened on a Friday night & I was leaving town at 6am on Saturday for a week. So now I have my 3 acre yard that needs to be mowed badly, the neighbors mower which is smoking like crazy & the entire system needs to be cleaned out, plus they need it back in a timely fashion so they can mow their 8+ acre yard. I had to find a way to get this thing going but I had no time as I was leaving town the next morning, a quick google search led me to Jeff. I gave Jeff a call, he actually walked me through the steps to clean the system out myself, but once I explained to him I did not have the time & was leaving town, he told me he would find a way to come out. Again, this was on a late Friday night. He called me on Saturday & let me know that he would have time first thing Monday morning to get out to our house. I made sure he had access to the mower while I was gone. Since I was out of town he let me know when he was on his way, when he got there, & then called me shortly after to let me know he had cleaned it out & just had to make a stop down the street to buy some oil & a new spark plug & would be back to get it going. Less than an hour later he called me to tell me he had it running as good as new again & was able to pay over the phone a very reasonable rate. Unfortunately, I do not have a good review like most others. I wish I did. I was looking forward to working with a professional who cares about his clients (according to the reviews). First, I sent a "Quote Request" through Yelp. He did not get back to me, still. However, upon calling him, I found out why; fast. As soon as he found out where I am located, he couldn't get off the phone fast enough. I checked his website and I AM in his covered "area". I now know that he did not get back to me on the quote because of my location. Which is unprofessional. All he had to do was say he didn't want to go that far or no longer served that area. I would have been irritated but appreciative that he got back to me and didn't have me waiting for him to contact me. The point here is that he may be a good mechanic, but if you don't live in his immediate vicinity, don't bother calling and asking for assistance; he will be off of the phone as fast as he can. read more
