Fast, friendly and deliciously fabulous. Jeet India has a full menu of all the India food pleasantries you can think of; curries, tandoori, saag, pakora and naan. The helpings were really good and I love that they ask you what level of spice you want. I went with the chicken korma and it had a great taste, with a nice sweetness. They brought the wrong order to my wife and quickly changed it and let us keep the first order and even took it home for leftovers, bonus. Seriously the service was nice and quick and very kind and helpful. They have a few beer and wine options, they even have a wine deal right now where you can get a whole bottle for $9 or $10, a glass is $6, so that is not a bad deal at all. The rice was good, the helpings of naan were great, all in all it was a winner. And comparable to other Indian restaurants in the area. Would love to have more light (natural) in the restaurant and it seems to be a bit dark and the unassuming curtains and unused spaces seem a bit off putting, so other than that, I highly recommended. I ordered from Uber Eats while at a hotel. First, the food. The Lamb saag and naan were very good. No complaints about it at all. However, I tried the mango shake instead of the mango lassi which I would have ordered in a restaurant...I would not recommend the mango shake. Tasted more like banana and wasn't that good. Finally, I ordered utensils since I was in the hotel. They sent none, and the food (rice and saag) were each entirely filling their container, which made for a difficult eating experience. Overall, the food made up for the eating difficulty, but the mango shake was a strikeout. Still, knowing that, I would order again, and will simply need to pack my own bowl and utensils. read more

I've eaten here a million times. The fresh food is always great compared to the buffet. But the dine-in service has went so downhill that I don't think we'll be back anytime soon. Two times now, my wife and I have ordered the Tomato Soup appetizer and it's come out cold. They simply take it back and microwave it. Then also two times in a row we've been served REALLY old red onion chutney that was pretty much spoiled. Then they bring out some they make to order and it's not as good. Thankfully the main courses and naan are always good. They barely check on you after they've delivered the food. The most recent time we ate there the server didn't bother to clear any plates. I had to ask him. I know all the staff are Indian and there's some language barrier going on, but they need to train the servers better. The service at Amar is much better. It seems like Jeet is only worried about takeout now. read more

We don't get Indian a lot, but when we do this is where we go. We love the nan, any of them we have tried have been wonderful. I love the lamb curry and the saag panner. Their rice is very good too. Raita is great. I think the portion size is fine, we usually have enough for leftovers, but we typically get three main dishes to share between us. I know the prices are more than they used to be, but that is everywhere, not Jeet's fault. Think about the spices and other ingredients they use, I'm sure some have to be imported....fuel cost. We also appreciate the spice level consistency, we might only get to enjoy Jeet 2-3 times a year, but the spice level is consistent which is important for those of us the like spice level 2 an less. read more

We took over the restaurant with a huge group and they were overall very good. There were some delays, so I can understand the posts about the service being slow. It did take a while to get menus and our food. However the food was delicious. They comp'd us a appetizer. They managed to accurately do individual checks for a party of 13, which I am sure is a nightmare. The food was delicious. The Naan was fresh and we had probably 7 baskets of it. So the meal was just spoiled. We ordered the lunch special, an extra order of kameer samosa, and an extra order of naan. The waitress asked us if we wanted a normal order of naan from the menu and we said yes... But she apparently had brought two tikka masala out with one plate of rice. We also got 5 naans (3 aloo and two garlic). When we asked about it, the first person said she'd fix it but then we got the waitress coming back to argue it. Then another guy came to try and diffuse it and fix it but the waitress came again to argue with us. So, first if we ordered two dinner portions why are we sharing rice? They also came back with the salad but not the side of vegetables in the special and three dessert "cookies"... there's two of us... so a dessert with two entrees but we had to share three small desserts? Might have been better with one. We still never got our vegetables and they never came back to check on us. Also the salad had too much vinegar. To add insult to injury, they still charged us for the evening menu item even after we spoke to THREE people. I had to again talk to them, this time FIVE of them. They finally fixed it... I didn't want to write a poor review. I'm empathetic to restaurants right now. Especially one of my favorites in the past. But to harass us... it only changed the bill by $10. They still would have gotten their money's worth from us ... we ordered EXTRA naan and an appetizer. I'm so disappointed. I can't come back to this place and it used to be my favorite. read more

Wow. I'm really hoping that we happened to visit on an off/bad day. The weather on this January Sunday was awful. Maybe they were missing g a cook?? All I know is that we paid almost $40 for two adults to eat at the lunch buffet. A terrible buffet. Look, I've been to some awesome Indian buffets. I've also been to quite a few mediocre Indian buffets. And frankly, I love Indian food so much that even the mediocre ones make for a good lunch in my opinion. But this was probably the worst I've experience. For two main reasons. Number one, what felt like limited selection. They had the expected saag and chicken curry and naan. But there were only three other curries and they weren't really doing it for us. Number two, everything was so hot that it was dry. The tandoori chicken was so dry and chewy - disappointing. I will say that the people here were super nice. They saw this mama walking up with a heavy car seat and rushed to open the door for me. read more

I'm a picky eater but I gave in on Valentine's Day in 2019 as a "gift" to my spouse. That was a great move! We have never had a bad experience with staff or food. It's a very intimate vibe, usually pretty quiet even if there's family's there. We can't get enough. I super recommend the Basant Paneer. All of the Nan is always perfect. My spouse is way more adventurous than I am and has tried most of the menu and has never complained. You also can pick your spiciness level! read more

A work colleague and I had dinner here and it was a very good experience. The service was friendly and quick. The waitress asked us about if we were interested in any breads, and explained the spice levels available. The appetizer arrived very quickly and the 3 different chutney options offered a variety of flavors and were wonderful. I had the vegetable jalfrezi at a 4/5 spice level. It was a lovely spice blend and all of the different vegetables worked so well together in the sauce. When we were done, to go boxes were brought rapidly, as were our checks. My wife and I were looking for a nice (non-chain) local restaurant when the red sign caught our eye. We were in a little bit of a hurry; fortunately, the service was timely and the food was great. I like having the opportunity to give a 'spiciness scale' (1-5) on my dish, and they did a nice job of honoring that. What I know about this place is they continue to refuse to have a buffet because they've learned by not having the buffet , and pretending the pandemic of Covid is still going on they can make more money instead of having the buffet. They're mine said that a fake pandemic is still active is really sad to simply undercut their customers to avoid providing better food in service just to make more money. When you buy the lunch portion of the lunch, they charge you an arm and a leg for very small child like portions that are unfulfilling and the food has gone majorly downhill. The tray they bring the food out on makes you feel like you're in second grade in the lunch room, cafeteria but the food from your second grade lunch um capture. It was much better than this food. I would strongly suggest checking the Indian restaurant in Dayton, which continues to have a buffet has better customer service and has much much better quality food. Jeet India did an excellent job catering a holiday event. I loved the chaat bar and really was impressed by how flavorful the food was. I often find that flavor is lacking when restaurants have to cater large events. I also enjoyed the paneer tikka and the dinner entrees including chicken makhani, okra, and shahi paneer.
