If you're going to St. John to stay don't be afraid of the car ferry it's easy to use. Get food on St. Thomas (it will cost 3x as much on St. John). The service was great!…read more I called Lisa she gave me a great price and had her husband meet us at the airport when we arrive and departed. She provided a child seat for my 2 year old daughter for free. The only gripe was that the care was completely bare boned. We had a tan Toyota Echo that had no power locks or windows and a noticeable amount of cosmetic damage on the outside. The interior had a "lived in" scent and was a little bit sticky to the feel. The child seat she lent us was I guess a bit old so it it would not tighten to the child safety latches well. If would bring my own child seat next time but it was very nice of her to provide it free of charge. For the roads in St Thomas, I would suggest getting some sort of compact SUV at the very least since it is speed bump heaven over there. Bottom line is the car was fairly priced, it had a motor and air conditioning. I would definitely rent from her again but I would probably upgrade to a slightly newer and better car.

These machines are no joke either modern Yamaha and Sea-Doo jet skis that'll absolutely fly across the water if you let them. Next thing you know, we're out there like a couple of overgrown kids checking off a bucket-list item I normally wouldn't splurge on. Another couple pulled up beside us and suddenly it turned into what felt like the Caribbean Grand Prix. Hard banking turns, hopping wakes, spraying each other with rooster tails of water like a bunch of irresponsible pirates. At one point it felt less like jet skiing and more like bumper cars on the ocean. The laughter, the shouting, the pure reckless joy of the moment it was childish, ridiculous, and absolutely unforgettable. I'm not saying we broke every rule... but I'm also not saying we didn't. Now don't get me wrong be responsible out there. These guys take safety seriously, with briefings, life jackets, and a safety boat nearby while you ride. But I'll say this: from the friendly staff to the convenient location (even our cab driver told us to go there), it turned into one of the most fun memories of the whole trip. Nobody got hurt, nothing got damaged, we didn't get hauled off by the marine police and somehow we rode back to the dock laughing like kids who just got away with something. I usually save my money for boat tours and cruises... but this? Totally worth it. One of the wildest, funniest afternoons I've ever had on the water.

We booked a relatively last minute trip. Some other places that we contacted proposed an exorbitantly high rate, taking advantage of the scarcity of rental cars and our booking on short notice. Marlita offered a fair rate, without any price gouging. I was nervous about paying in advance, which seems to be the protocol at most of the independent companies on the island. However, I need not have worried: We were picked up at the airport immediately after we arrived and grabbed our bag. We were greeted by friendly service and an almost brand new Jeep in impeccable condition that was carefully cleaned. No surprise additional charges waiting for us. There were extra floor mats in the car to help us with keeping sand/water out. On our final day, Marlita contacted me to confirm the drop off time. Drop off was similarly seamless - we met at the airport drop off zone without any wait time at all.
