My unit remained vacant for three months without a tenant or any discernible progress. My calls went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly contact her via text messages, to which she would typically respond two days later. When I brought my concerns to upper management, she attempted to rectify the situation, but unfortunately, it was beyond repair. Ultimately, I had to terminate the agreement. I then engaged a management company that proved to be exceptionally proactive and communicative. They successfully identified a new tenant within a week, and the tenant moved in the following week. It is truly regrettable to operate and work in such circumstances when one cannot conduct business professionally. I have unfortunately expended my time and resources by placing my trust in a central Florida management company that proved to be untrustworthy.

I moved into that property with the kitchen cabinets painted BABY BLUE. Upon approval, I painted them to match the appliances, and upon moving out, had to paint them back to that awful color. ANGEL HIDALGO took SIX HUNDRED dollars from my security deposit to re-paint the cabinets, claiming that the "owners claimed the cabinets to be WHITE upon move in." So they take $600 based upon a lie, and it gets even better... I view the property a year later - THEY NEVER PAINTED. Look up the property, the cabinets are BLUE! I got charged $600 for them to supposedly paint them white, and they literally just stole the money. This will not be the last they hear of me.

Offering a wealth of knowledge and skill, she did a fantastic job of diligently working with me to explain every step of the way, without being overbearing or pressuring me. She advised me on the best time to sell my property, kept me apprised of the costs throughout the process (effectively my biggest concern), discarded offers that were unreasonably low and not worth my time, and persistent for a good 3 months before we finally found a buyer at a price point that hit about 90% of my criteria. There are 22 two story units that were originally apartments. The Landlord owns almost all the condos in here. When they become available, he buys them for low prices, and then charges high rents with predatory lease agreements. He bought my unit for $10,000.00 in a foreclosure sale. He never painted the unit, said that I could paint it if I wanted to. The carpets and appliances are cleaned but not replaced, unless they break down. Last year, my dishwasher broke down about 2 weeks before Thanksgiving and I did not get a replacement until December. Then my washing machine broke down, and I did not get a replacement until after the new year. All that he does do, is increase the rent on an annual basis. I have lived here 6 years and always paid my rent on time. I am retired now and living on Social Security, I just got my disabled parking permit. Now Watson Realty is telling me that the "lease will automatically renew on a month to month basis at $100.00 extra per month per your lease." I cannot afford the new rent, it is almost my entire Social Security check. I have had to apply for food stamps (have not heard back yet). The first thing that the Landlord did was tape an eviction notice to my front door.

I then moved and rented with a management company for about 7 years. It was a great apartment, but the building started to go downhill and the people living there were not my cup of tea. I wanted to move out ASAP! Dorothy came to the rescue again! I've been wanting to live in The Sanctuary for years, and it is a tough building to get into. When units come up for rent (which are few and far between) they go really quickly. I checked Urbanista's site every day for about a month and one day a unit popped up. I called Dorothy and she got me in to look at the unit 30 minutes later, as she knows those units are a time sensitive matter. I met with her partner Jeremy, who was just as great! He showed me the apartment (which was treated poorly by the previous tenant and wasn't my style) and he quickly showed me another unit in the building that I was unaware of and I loved it! I asked to put an offer in the next day and Dorothy quickly got to work. I gave them a move-in date of the following week, so everything had to be done fast. Since Urbanista was not the listing agent of the apartment, we had to deal with another realtor from a different real estate company as well and I was unimpressed with his performance on getting this all together once it was handed over to him. He promised me a lease to sign within a couple hours and I still did not have one until the following day over 24 hours later (a day before my move-in date) and I still had to do orientation at the new building before I could be allowed to move in. Everything was down to the last minute. I kept in contact with Dorothy during the whole process and she was able to act as a middle man and make sure the other realtor did their job and got things done for me.
