They were quick and efficient and not only made the stage look great, but also made the check-in table much more festive and the centerpieces were complete with the trio of balloons tied to them. We were in corespondence with Kelly who was helpful in getting us the package we needed. We also got a 10 percent discount from Yelp! Kelly was our point person and helped coordinate our timeline. She also was the laision with the band. Before the party, I sent her the script and timeline. On the day of the party, the band showed up to set up at 10a for our 11a party. They said they thought they started at 1030a. I said they started at 11:30 a.m. Kelly (Balloon artist) and face painter came onsite at just about 11a. One major disappointment I had was that the MC refused to facilitate our script. We thought it was farily light and simple, including directions to the bathroom, where the rubbish is, then calling up various people to help facilitate the program and games. Luckily, my sister in law stepped in and did the MCing. The quality of the balloons was excellent, as well as the face painting. The live band was REALLY good, loud, and brought excellent energy to the party. Everyone complimented us on the entertainment. Eddie, the band leader, brought us a screen and projector for our slideshow. It went off without a hitch. The band continued to play until after most of our guests left. Unfortunately when they took their break, most of our guests started leaving. In hindsight, I would have everyone sang happy birthday a little later so people stuck around to hear their second set. Also, I asked the face painter if we could make announcement that they would be closing in 15 minutes and she said no because people will line up for their face painting/balloon. I thought that was the point. But, oh well. Maybe people luckily got their face painted and balloon early. Overall, it was a little disorganized, but it came together and was a nice party.

What's more fun than a photo booth? Caricatures! Frank was so easy to communicate with! He accommodated our party and showed up extra early. He was a hit! Everyone loved their caricatures. We booked his services about 4 months in advance and choose his GOLD package that included the magic show, walk around magic, ballon twisting, and the MC. We initially met at the venue and I put down a 50% deposit which is reasonable. I asked about the MC duties which the package included. He suggested a separate tip would be appreciated. Initially I thought that a bit strange, but trust me the MC he uses is PHENOMENAL. He has a true "radio voice" and was absolutely fantastic. All this guy must due must be events because the very next week we saw him at a graduation party manning a Photo Booth. Everyone loved the magic. It really puts a finishing touch on the party. The kids loved it. I heard from one of the parents their child was still talking about the show a week later. One thing that caught me completely off guard was the balloon twisting. I thought the poor guy might make a dozen balloons then be ignored. Not true. ADULTS WERE STANDING IN LINE FOR BALLOON TWISTING. Unreal. My friend's kid even took her ballon back to Hilo with her. Since then, I have been seeing his name all over town, and it seems just about everyone on the island has been hiring him to perform at their parties. He does those tricks that make you stand there with your mouth open for 5 minutes. I had a chance to talk to him and I was really impressed. Besides the fact that he made my fork disappear into thin air lol! He has been doing magic since he was 6 and he doesn't just do magic but designs sets and props, and is a total expert on how to dress like Santa which he takes very seriously. He said that it hurts a kids feelings if a Santa looks bad, so he always wants to make sure to be the BEST santa EVER! He also said it isn't that hard, that for $5 you can go to Longs and get what you need that it just takes a little effort. I just thought that was really cool that he cares about kids that much that it makes him mad to see BAD SANTAS lol. He was really upset when he talked about Santas who don't take pride in their appearance and character! I would definitely hire him for my kids party and actually would hire him to consult on any event I did because he knows just about everything there is to know about having an event in Hawaii and the vendors to hire etc. I think he could save you a lot of headaches and a small fortune if you hired him to consult on your event.
