The original appointment was for Bridesmaids dresses, but the bride ended up choosing her wedding gown! Stacie's level of customer service is second to none. She was wonderful and so helpful. Made my sister and all of us feel very special. She carries so many gorgeous designers and timeless dresses. We ended up choosing the bride, MOTB, Junior Bridesmaid, flower girl and bridesmaids dresses! It was such a special day and Stacie truly added to the memory of this experience. During my first visit, I worked with Bernadette and Pauline - two of the most beautiful (inside and out) women I have ever met! I was immediately in love with Three Graces Bridal and while I decided to browse elsewhere to get a feel for other shops, I always wound up wanting to be back at Three Graces Bridal. After two visits to other shops, I realized I was wasting my time anywhere else and that Pauline and her team were the place for me. Three Graces Bridal made my wedding dress shopping experience more than a dream come true because it was better than imaginable! The staff is extremely attentive, listens to what it is the bride truly wants, and is incredibly positive and warm. One day, Pauline even let my mother and I stop by when the shop was closed because I was hoping to try on the final two dresses I was deciding between yet again! How crazy amazing is that?? They were patient, flexible, and really did everything to make finding the dress of my dreams a reality. I am convinced that no other boutique offers the personableness of Pauline and her staff. I felt as though I gained another Momma during the wedding process and that Pauline took care of me as she would her own daughter. Not to mention, I had the dressed tailored at Three Graces Bridal and it was an incredibly straightforward, easy, and professional process. Everything about my dress and my experience was perfect. It's located on Division street near some great restaurants and in downtown Somerville. It's very classy, elegant, but not uppity. I felt totally at home with Allison. She made me feel very comfortable and reminded me of my love for lingerie! Allison is easy going and professional. She carries many lingerie brands; my favorite being Eberjey. So gorgeous! I tried on two basic bras from LBC and they fit my petite frame perfectly! I even bought a gorgeous night slip from Eberjey. It is so comfy and dressy at the same time! Love, love, love. There's something for everyone here! You can even create a wish list so your significant other can surprise you with something lacy. Hint hint! It's important to shop local. During my shopping experience, I picked my dream dress with a lace-up back. I asked the owners how…read moreeasy it is to switch to a zipper. They both assured me it was "no big deal" and they do it all the time. I wear a size 0-2 and they told me they would order the dress a bit bigger to put in the zipper. When the dress arrived it was a size 10. I didn't think much of it as I am not familiar with bridal alterations. I called to ask if I should begin fittings earlier than normal given these changes, and they said no. At my first fitting their seamstress asked me if I lost significant weight, as she was confused why they would order such a large dress even to put in a zipper. Their seamstress basically had to rebuild the entire shape of the dress leading not only to an extra fitting but extra cost. After 4 fittings and almost $900 in alterations (almost half the cost of the dress), I had a fitting dress. The owners called me before pick up to let me know I should limit the times I zip and unzip the dress due to lace, I thought it was odd but just figured they were being cautious for the dress. On the day of my wedding, I went to put on my dress and the zipper was almost immobile, my sister was able to get it up part the way and we clipped the top. Not even in the dress for a minute and the zipper split. Luckily one of my bridesmaids is a surgeon in training and was able to sow me into the dress for the ceremony. Arriving at my reception site the remainder of the zipper split and the hook snapped off. I missed most of my cocktail hour being resown into my dress. So I was essentially sewn into my dress for 9 hours, and my mom had to cut me out at the end of the night. Below is a picture of what my dress looked like with our emergency fixes of my bridesmaid and mother. When I told the salon about this they sent me a brief email (didn't even have the courtesy to call) saying they would replace the zipper and hook at no cost but did not acknowledge the $900 I spent on what should have been a wearable dress. Given the warning they gave me, I feel they knew there was an issue, and instead of an emergency fix, they rolled the dice on my dress.

I brought in some photos of what I was looking for and within seconds Lisa and Luba were pulling gowns from all different racks, even off a mannequin! I am happy to say that I found an amazing and affordable gown here. I had my alterations done by Vicki, their seamstress and she was wonderful! I would recommend these ladies to anyone!! Mark was very professional and personable constantly cracking jokes and keeping the atmosphere light. We were fitted one by one pretty quickly. He ended up giving the group a nice discount when the groom answered a question about the bride as a game. When returning months later to pick up my tux for the big day Mark didn't miss a beat. I could have honestly just took the suit off the hanger and kept it moving. Everything fit perfectly! There was not a thread out of place and the tux's were ready for pickup about a week from the event to make it even more convenient. I was a groomsman once before and they used Men's Warehouse. My pants looked like capris over there. We had so many issues when the big day got there they ended up giving everyone a huge refund. Night and day experience. I'm getting married myself soon and I know where I'm going for sure. A bit pricier than your chains but well worth the extra money for the time and effort he puts in. Good job Mark!

After all the pins were attached for the alternations we were told that it will be almost another $1000 for alternations and btw payment should be in cash.... They are not forthcoming and having to pay cash sounded slightly weird. We decided to just take the dress and find a reasonable seamstress elsewhere. When picking up the dress it was handed to us with a bad attitude, letting us know all the pins were removed. Uncalled for after spending thousands of dollars on a dress at this store. Wedding dress shopping should be an all around good, fun experience, this was not!
