Throughout all of the madness, Sasha stayed very active in offering solutions and doing everything she could to still make this the day of our dreams. Fortunately, with her help, we had a winter wonderland proposal, amazing photos to remember the moment, and great memories that were only heightened by the kind soul that Sasha is. She's sweet, genuine, encouraging, and ambitious. We were really bad about setting a specific timeline for the day-of until the week before and Melissa was understanding and flexible with whatever needed to happen even with last-minute planning. She took nice family portraits for us and we had a blast taking our couples shots with her down on the beach. I'm a naturalist nerd and delighted in the fact that she is too, as we kept pausing to exclaim over beach-combing finds and incorporating things like sand dollars and peeling madrona bark into our photos. She did an excellent job balancing our requests for certain backdrops and types of shots with her own professional suggestions, and we couldn't be happier with how the photos turned out! She was extremely prompt with the turn-around. Sneak peeks the day after (!) and our whole portfolio just 2.5 weeks after! Wow! During that first meeting, Stephanie made sure to walk through the general look and feel of what she'd be doing during our wedding. We went over a pretty comprehensive list of family/group shots that we wanted, and she assured us that the day was going to be special. When she showed up for the day of the wedding, she was prepared and professional and definitely knew how to handle two anxious grooms who were running around making sure everything was good for the festivities. My partner and I just let Stephanie take the reins for how our photos were done, and I'm sure she would have preferred a *little* guidance, we're so glad we did, because her ideas were better than anything we could have come up with. Also, having that list of group shots was so important, because it made taking pictures with all of our family and friends fly by. As for the ceremony and reception, Stephanie was adept at blending in/not being noticed while capturing all the memories we could hope for. The pictures have been fantastic, and I don't know if there's a better person who can take two awkward guys, put them in what seem like awkward poses, and make beautiful pictures.
