Every morning my fiancé would go pick up fresh croissants and a baguette! The location is great as it's right in the heart of Rue Meynadier which was one of my favourite streets to shop. Really enjoyed everything we tried from this bakery (also tried one of their sandwiches which I really enjoyed). Especially loved the poppy seed croissant. Highly recommend!

Thank goodness there is one in NY. I hope they open one in Cali. I am absolutely addicted to the gelato there. My favorite flavor is the amarena. It's creamy vanilla with those amazing soft tart cherries and a cherry ribbon throughout the gelato. I introduced my college roommate from 30+ years ago to this amazing gelato haven and she was immediately hooked. I also always top my gelato off with the raspberry gelato macarons which are also to die for. They have gelato ice cream inside them as well. Absolutely fantastico!! Surprisingly all the stores I visited so far gave great service. I haven't been to the Rome airport yet. I shall see. The restaurants are typically small and a few have a place to eat inside or outside. The one in Florence does. They were all clean and the decorations and pictures are very inviting when you enter. The store in Paris you have to enter your order in a kiosk, but the other restaurants have a person to take your order. Definitely make an effort to go there if you are in a city that has one. I had gelato for dinner or lunch many days when I was tired of the food in the cities I visited. I hope I don't see bread, pastries, cheese, fish and chips, or pasta for the next 5 years.

By the time I was able to sit down and eat them an hour or two later, the lemon tart was a bit melted but still delicious. It was a nice balance between sweet and tart and I really enjoyed the meringue drops that decorated the base. The pistachio dessert was also really nice and had some very unique flavours. This is actually a branch of a patisserie chain with a number of shops in Antibes. Due to buying a number of pastries that day, I waited until the next morning to enjoy it. I liked it, but regretted not eating it in the same day. I did not have access to an oven either to reheat it, which would have improved it. The other regret is that there are so many good boulangerie and patisserie shops to choose from in France. This shop had a lot more delectable desserts to choose from inside. If you like sweet treats, it is worth checking out this patisserie.

Even when there's a line out the door (which there usually is) the pastries in the morning are so amazing you can't decide, and for lunch, there's also an amazing selection of sandwiches, wraps and pizzas. Not only is their product perfect (I tasted 8 different flavors today, thanks to my companions, all of which were beyond expectations), but the staff is friendly and happy--clearly the mark of a staff that has a good boss and knows they're selling a high-quality product. The only down side that I can think of is that I'm living within a three minute walk. The mark of really great gelato, to me, is vanilla. Theirs is probably the best I've had anywhere, ever. There is no ambience to speak of. It's basically a hole in the wall operation on a rally ancient street near the Marche in old town Antibes. But, well, who cares? Don't miss this great place.
