Big fan of this bakery, we visited twice during our stay and ordered multiple items. Cheesecake was great, the pan au chocolat was perfect, we also had a mushroom quiche, a stuffed calzone type pastry (can't recall the name), a baguette sandwich with ham, tomato, arugula and fresh mozzarella (add the pesto if they ask!!), and a madeleine.

They sell the best almond croissant I have ever had, definitely recommend trying it. There was a lot of space to sit when I was there (11am on a Tuesday morning). I got an almond croissant with a cup of cappuccino- my total bill was under €6 They accept credit cards.

Best pastries in Nice and so reasonably prices. My husband and I had breakfast here every morning, which cost roughly 10 euros. Almond croissants are amazing and their baguettes are one of the best I've had. Staff is also very friendly.

Best almond croissant ever!!! I trooped it across town on a rainy Sunday morning only to find out the cafe was closed. I am so glad I tried again later in the week, the cafe is cute and quaint and filled with delicious pastries. Her almond croissant was my favorite. It was soft and flaky and filled with delicious, sweet almond paste. She has tons of lunch options as well like sandwiches, quinoa salads and focaccia pizzas. I would highly recommend this cafe.

You will want to eat everything in this place. I certainly wish I had the stomach space for all of it! This bakery is pastries galore. The fresh bread looks amazing too and I'm sure it'd make one sweet sandwich! I'd have to say the pistachio eclair was quite unique and is definitely a must try.

Variety of French bakery fare at Chez Maître Pierre in Nice. Croissant, berry crumble, macaroons, quiche, & café . Delish!

I came too late on a Saturday morning to be able to try the almond croissant I keep hearing about. Sold out by 11:30 or so. But nonetheless I got a plain croissant & it was flaky, soft, buttery, and very good. Also had a small quiche & then a berry crumble: both were tasty but they didn't heat them up enough. Totally a 5 star if they were just warmer. Also the staff seemed a little impatient with my questions & lack of French fluency but that is a normal feeling between the American tourist-French local. Tons of fresh baguettes lined the walls of the shop & regular customers running in & out for their daily order. I even came back for some afternoon sandwiches, believe it was a tuna sandwich on a round roll & then a caprese sandwich....both were excellent & the bread was French perfection with a crunchy exterior, soft interior. Definitely coming back here, and earlier, for that almond croissant!

This bakery is fantastic for breakfast, a light lunch or anytime you want to take a break and have a snack and coffee. We had brunch here and ended up ordering so much food because everything looked amazing. Bf had a sandwich while I had a quiche and we shared several sweet pastries. The fig tartlet was my favorite!

Must come here for breakfast before the good stuff goes! Their croissants are bomb! Can't go wrong with any of their almost croissants. (I loved the one with apple). Also, their plain one and chocolate croissants were also amazing. Best place for a nice breakfast before you explore Nice or go sun bathing.

Cute little bakery with seating out front and a wide selection of coffees and pastries. The best chocolate croissant I've ever had in France. I still am thinking about it to this day. I also ordered a strawberry tart that was so incredibly fresh! Highly recommended.

Amazing almond chocolate croissants. Even though it's in a rather touristy area, the pastries were top notch. There was some seating for eating in, but I'd recommend getting a pastry to-go, walking down to the promenade, and enjoying your food with a great view. Absolutely a must if you love desserts/pastries!

Quirky little place. Great food and service. A lot of choice from really good sandwiches to lovely deserts that make your mouth water. DELICIOUS. A great sitting location too (if you love to people watch).

Excellent espresso, croissants, pain with chocolate and sweet/sugar breads. A young girl behind the counter speaks English.

One of the best croissants I had in France. Even my friend who didn't like croissants wanted to come back here for a second one!
