My husband & I have been patients of Dr Harris for over 2 years & we have always received excellent, timely & compassionate care. Other reviews mention that Dr Harris refers patients to specialists or that there isn't follow-up from your visits. Come on! We're adults. We've been to other doctors in other cities, states & countries. Most doctors refer you to specialists. Most adults know they're responsible for follow-ups. If Dr Harris orders a study or a test & we don't follow through with it, that's on *US* not on her. When the results do come back from the tests or specialists, we're informed as needed or requested by the doctor or her very capable staff. I appreciate that Dr Harris treats us as adults & I also appreciate that she & /or her staff will respond to our special requests promptly. In the past few years, Dr Harris has seen us through many emergencies where one or more of us needed extra care & we're grateful that Harris & her staff accommodated us. In our visits since, Dr Harris has been kind - on a basic human level - to acknowledge our losses, special needs & any concerns we have. When I leave her office, I feel as though I've left a very good therapist or friend. This matters. read more

I was a patient of Dr. Harris' for approximately 6 months on moving to Florida. Appointments were long in coming, wait time average. What displeased me the most is that she and her staff were neglectful of basic medical followup and diagnosis. She actually did little of her own medical treatments, usually referring you to a specialist for the simplist of things. She also did not followup with me in a timely manner for mammogram exam followup issues, and there were several insurance billing mistakes. I was always having to do the followup myself to ensure my own good health (both physically and financially). She frequently made referrals to specialists who were not even covered by my insurance. Referral followup was terrible. Took me months to get into pain management specialist and then only did when I took the bull by the horns myself!! Not recommended!! read more

Received excellent care here! Dr. Harris is so sincere and warm; she put me at ease immediately. The nurses there are also very kind and seem to really love their jobs (one in particular -- I think her name is Christine? -- was awesome). Went in because I hadn't had a full physical in a veeery long time and was nervous about some weird symptoms I'd been having and Dr. Harris and her staff went above and beyond to assuage my fears. I can say that I literally have never had such a good experience in a doctor's office. Highly, highly recommend. read more

She doesn't even deserve one star as a doctor. No wonder her reviews are minimal. She is disshelved, has no compassion, is miserable with absolutely no bedside manner. I would never return to her. I have no respect for her advise or suggestions. I do not feel she is knowledgeable or keeps up to standards as other doctors do. She is lazy and nasty. Don't waste your time seeing this doctor there are many other fine physicians out there and she is not one of them,. She will make things as difficult as she can and is not interested in your well being in fact she's pretty good at causing stress. When one visits their primary care doctor they should leave the office with confidence not stress! I have never encountered a doctor so crass and rude in my life. She is the last one To preach exercise, she is very out of shape and certainly does not set any kind of example in that department! . She offers no solutions and has poor if none, follow up! That is why these sites exist. It gives the patient an opportunity to express their experience with these doctors. This woman is a patronizing alarmist. She prescribes tests that are unnecessary. She is unsympathetic - it is her way or the highway! She wanted me to have a blood test every month for the rest of my life. My current doc says completely wrong - once every six months is fine. Remember, docs don't make money on "care" - they make money on tests and procedures. Please, pass this one by. read more

The moment she walked into the room she had an attitude and was rude. She told me that some of the other drs in town I had seen were not real doctors. She told me that what I had been diagnosed with for the last 2 years was in my head and I need psychological evaluation. If she asked me if something hurt and I said yes, she told me I was depressed! She would not take the previous blood work from me from previous doctors to put in my file to keep on hand. The worst bedside manner I have ever seen. I was only there as my yearly "see your general practitioner" per my insurance. I will be finding another doctor. read more

ZERO STARS!!!!! Do not even waste your time with this woman. She is the rudest, most unprofessional and non-compassionate person I have ever met. My wife, daughter and I moved to St. Augustine recently and needed a new primary care doctor. We made the mistake of not reading reviews and blindly selected this woman. She came in with a nasty attitude to meet my wife (who is 58 years old) for the first time. I ask a couple of questions about her responses to my wife and she told me that I did not need to interpret her words. I said that I was merely asking a question. At this point I told her we were done and we would not be coming back to which she said good. What a horrible person. I will be writing to Blue Cross about this as well as taking out an ad in the local paper. She needs to be run out of business. Without a doubt the worst human I have ever met. Part of being a doctor is compassion....this woman has none. read more
