These are not the miniature, no meat rip offs that you'll find at Hot Rods or City Wings. These are full bodied, crispy wings that are moist, juicy and have a great crunch. 10 wings is enough for a nice meal. The ownership is awesome and accommodating. I always get mine with tons of Creeper sauce, and they always oblige me free of charge or hassle. This is mostly a carry out spot, but if you'd like to sit down and eat, you're more than welcome. Overall, I would consider this one of your higher quality and value wing spots in Detroit due to the size and quality of the wings you're getting. I can't wait to try more flavors. The tour guide even called ahead and told them that we would be there early. Our dinner choices had been called in advance. When we arrived there was only one waitress to try to serve 54 people. Apparently the two other waitresses did not show up for work. After two and a half hours most of our people had not received their food yet. We were on a time schedule for the bus driver. About half of our group were senior citizens. Some of them were diabetics. If the tavern was having problems they should have notified the tour operator and tried to make adjustments for the meals. If you only have a few people for dinner I'm sure it would have been a completely different situation. My wife and I ordered chicken Alfredo , it looked like watered down Mac and cheese with a few pieces of chicken mixed together.

The chicken breast was pounded so thin, it was thick as three slices of deli meat, with a few pickles and 'special sauce' like thousand island. YUCK. Chips were good. Service was also disappointing. We got served pretty quickly, and our server did check on us after about 5 minutes from serving. Then we waited and waited, and WAITED until another server happened by-so I asked for the bill and boxes- not our red head server (there are two red heads, I'm referring to the larger one- and this isn't about size, I'm a pudge too). Between the pathetic service, and disappointing menu, and the fact that the bathroom also smelled of septic backup, we won't be back. It's not for us.

By the time I got home (about 20 minutes later), the food was still warm and so delicious. The fries were golden brown, crispy, and honestly the best I've had in a while. For a "small" order, you get a ton--easily more than a large fry at McDonald's, and way better. The ranch deserves its own shoutout--it's the best ranch I've ever had! I would literally buy a bottle if they sold it. The breadsticks were warm, soft, and so tasty--and the portion was so generous! And the chicken gyro? Absolutely delicious. They load it up with plenty of chicken, and the cucumber sauce ties it all together perfectly. On top of all that, the workers here are always so kind. The food, portions, and service are all incredible--I'd recommend this place to anyone!
